Great Video! After viewing it, I realized what I was doing wrong after I had installed the rear brake shoe 1st, and trying to install the adjuster. Also, I see how you install the hold clips & pins much easier than I had been doing it with a flat screwdriver!!
So my 2005 dodge dakota only has 1 upper return spring. Your video shows 2 upper return springs. What is the correct configuration for my truck. I ended up just install everything the same as it came off with the 1 springs. Just want to make sure I installed the brake pads correctly.
Great video, but this job is not tor the weak minded. He makes it look so easy, its not for the diy person. Thank you for a great video, it did help, just took me forever and felt like i needed three pairs of hands.
You did the white and blue springs wrong. The white one goes in the far hole to start with, then you use the weird hook part of the blue spring to hold other side of the white spring hook (it doesnt connect to shoes, just the blue wiggley hook, then blue goes in same far hole. Thats why the blue one has that weird hook/end
That's not how you put the springs back. Blue one hooks the white one. I know because I listened to this hack and wasted hours of time and energy trying to put it together. When done correctly, you can put it together on a bench with the adjuster and parking brake lever on and put right on the wheel hub with way less effort.

So what would the perfect sound or feel be for when you adjust the shoes using the kog after the drum is replaced back on

How about the bleeding procedure?
+@steveraymond7277 We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
I was wondering why he used the R adjuster when he was working on the left side of the vehicle. did I miss something.
Also, I bought Napa replacement adjuster kits and the R is exactly like the L that I removed from the vehicle. Not sure what to do.
Oh, does R actually means right threads ? And L means left threads?
Emergency brake actuator @5:20. Where to find/buy

Druver side?
2006 Mitsubishi raider doesn't have the rearward spring. There is only 3 springs per side
Good video, is not that easy. The rust adds to the battle
