The dragon in Melve can easily be dealt with by running up the tower and using two fully charged ballista attacks on it. If you manage to kill the dragon while it's still in melve you can easily unlock the meister skill for spearhand along with that same vocation, also you get one of the strongest weapons for spearhand if you loot the body. Just make sure the dragon is still over walkable land when killing it, I messed up my first time when hitting it with the second ballista shot while it was beginning to fly away over the water and the body fell in the ocean. I quit out and loaded my last auto save to make sure I I got the kill shot right. If you want to use the ballista faster without constantly moving it around by yourself I highly suggest having two other pawns with you and spam the help button when you are one the ballista, the two pawns will help turn the ballista while you charge and aim it.

You can't duplicate the sealing phial, it'll become a "ceiling phial" with no function. It's possible to get 50.000 gold from attacking with the Whimsical Daydream. It's obviously very rare. There's a drake at the Ancient Battlefield (north of checkpoint rest town) that is fighting a cyclops and there are two large balistas, one small balista and a lot of rocks that can be thrown to kill the drake. Between all of that, it's pretty much a free kill for easy wyrmlife crystals. While not aiming them, you can push and turn balistas so they can shoot in different directions. Even the big balista can be moved so it can shoot downwards.
You can rotate the ballista turrets by getting out and pushing them from the sides which you usually don't actually notice because if you have pawns around they will take care of it for you while you shoot
