Thanks for watching folks. Like this comment if you're a beginner archer!!
Thanks for the very useful video. I like the manner of your speech, super cute :)
Thanks!
@@Lukabrazi69 haha oh yes super chte indeed
Great info, Allie. I'm a beginner and this cleared some essential questions up! Your other videos are terrific as well!
Glad it was helpful!
Best teacher ever! I actually paid attention the whole lesson
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the video! I'm designing a fictional compound bow and it's really helpful to know how each detail of it affects its performance
Thank you for the wonderful info very helpful to someone new like me.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the video, very informative and to the point. Just bought my first compound bow by Bowtech (used) in India, I've owned a Barnett Quad 400 compound crossbow for the last five years.
Glad it was helpful!
Outstanding video! I learned so much. Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Cody!
Yes, thank you very much. That was very informative!
Finally someone made this video!! I got into archery and hunting back in January and there's honestly not any videos this clear and to the point. Sure there are videos about every part of the bow but they're concentrated on one aspect and hard to understand for new archers. Awesome idea, and will definitely benefit a lot of people when it comes to what bow they want to buy and also understanding the bow once they buy it. Will definitely let my daughter watch this video before the range today.
Awesome. Thank you Joshua!
Great job, you shouldn't ever second guess yourself on your videos, people need these kind of videos and most people overlook, the basics..
Keep them coming, again nice job.
I appreciate that. Thanks Tim!
I learned so much from this, thanks girl :)
So happy to hear that!
Love watching your videos. Your annunciation and sense of humor make me smile.
Glad you like them!
Thank you. Great video. Clear and concise information. Good for note taking. I'd like to get into target shooting and I am clueless. Your information is extremely helpful.
Glad it helped!
You gots the makins of a good teacher.
Thank you!
Thanks Allie, wow I didn't know how much there is to know about a compound bow. You were very clear and explain it well. I love your enthusiasm and nice smile, keep up the good work. 🥰
Glad it was helpful Tony!
excellent and informative breakdown of the essentials of a compound bow. thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
You explained things perfectly! Loved how you explained why certain things are important! I bought a cheaper compound bow a year ago to see if it was something I would be interested in (my boyfriend and 2 of his 4 brothers bow hunt) and this video has definitely helped me understand what I need to look for when I go to buy my first “big girl” bow!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks Emily!
I really wonder if I should "Buy a Cheaper" bow?
I'm dead serious about my decision to get into the sport. (Ie.. survival) aspect of this. I'm by no means a pussy man. I'm definitely a outdoors type. Can AMD will do hard core camping and hiking. Well...bring food. Not to far off the grid _lol. BUT all that said. Seriously need to get ready for some serious American down fall shit. Not only for survival but for self defense.
Would possibly but two bows.
Need arrows as well.
Gonna get air powered rifles next. Thats another topic.
Would love some input
I loved this video. I understand a lot more. Your clarity and knowledge shine. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Great video Allie. Thanks for posting.

Nice video thank you I learned some new things today. Would you recommend whisker biscuit or drop away rest (whitetail hunting mainly both east and west coast)
Drop away for me! I use this one. amzn.to/2X6XMmV
Great video thank you!

Great job keep up the good works
Thanks, will do!
Nice Job you killed it
Thanks for watching!
Just came from the Beginner tips when buying a compound bow. Thank you for that video and this!
Also, what would you recommend as a beginner bow with cost combing into play? I’ve looked into Bear and Diamond brands, and was wondering if you would have any advice.
Thank you, and anyone else that can give me a little insight! I’m super excited to purchase my first compound bow 😬
Can't go wrong with these for affordable starters! Thanks for watching!

Ok im gonna say it and be "that guy" ,, , your teeth are PERFECT.
😁
You're weird bro.
@@Mk-qk5bw yeah he's weird
@@Mk-qk5bw Wierd, but not wrong. Lmao 🤣
@@Mk-qk5bw he may be weird, but can you show us where he’s wrong?
I just purchased a Mathews halon 7 from my pro shop here in Massachusetts, I went into the shop with the intent of buying the triax but being a taller fella I shot the halon 32 7 and the halon 7 since I generally hunt from a hawks nest with occasional ground blind hunting...With 30 inches ATA I got the best of both worlds and walked out with the Halon 7.
Yes, nick liked the halon more than the triax as well.
For someone who has never touched /used a bow but has been considering starting on this venture with my son this video was very informative thank you. Do you have videos on suitable bows for beginner hunter/s?
Thank you for watching! I don't have any videos like that, but Diamond makes a good beginner bow!
It is pretty difficult focus all of major information you giving. For the first time i viewed the video i was stunned by your glamourous face. Best video with information i looked for, Thank you.
Cool vid thank you much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good explanation.
However you meantioned the term "string supressors" regards to two different parts of the bow, which is a little confusing.
I think the last part in the video should be called string stopper.
Other than that great video! I subscribed
Thanks for the feedback!!
What does it mean when the pro say they are against the wall ? or the back or some other term? I also noticed in a video that the arrow fletching is in a different position, where one vane is straight up instead of two vane pointed to the bow. When did this happen? I mean back in the 1970s that was how you shot now you don't.
A handy Vid !!!
Thanks for watching!
this is good,
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great information would doing a video for the Hoyt Maxxis 31 be ok ? I know it is a older make of bow but I would like some information on the bow as I bought one on eBay and the seller is not knowledgeable of the specs on the bow 😩
Im sorry but I don't know any of the specs on that bow either.
Awesome video, thx for sharing some of the “quarks” and terms of compound bows
Hi allie do you know how to make a shangai"slingshot" for americans. That has no latex rubber? Just a compound bow that fires ball berrings? Its stupid how many videos say compound slingshot then use rubber!?? Then its not a compound anything is it???
I didn't know about the speed nocks, thanks. QUESTION:> Allie if you're bow is off on "one" cam timing mark, how do you adjust it back into sync?
You need to twist your yolk system counter clockwise or clockwise direction but you need a press for that most of the time.
It's counter clockwise at half twist increments
Might want to look up a video on cam timing.
Do you have any elk hunts planned for this year? Hopefully you got your Idaho tag early this year, not like the last fiasco. 😆
Bought it wayyyy early! LOL
@@OutdoorsAllie great news, best of luck. We hunted the pioneer zone last year and was in elk everyday. Bad luck keep us from closing the deal. But oh well it was great hunting. Maybe meet you on the mountain some day. Thanks for keep us entertained
Funny thing....I never had problems tuning a dual cam but many with single and binary systems. Once the string and cable are shot in, rarely will they come out of time on a dual cam.
Thanks for the feedback!
nice content keep up the good work😇😘🦌🐠🐞
Thank you! Will do!
I live in nz so not sure if it's the same.
Question, does the bow string Push or Pull the arrow forward?
The bow string pushes the arrow forward.
You are the Ultimate Woman!!!!!
Thank you Bryan!
@@OutdoorsAllie you're welcome. Are you prepping for the craziness coming in the fall?
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful ✨🌹🎉❤Allie❤🎉🌹✨
Huh, yeah, I didn't notice it until I read that other guy's comment; but, yeah, her teeth are perfect.
Interesting but I'd like to have seen how the string, cables and cams work together. Thanks.
Next time for sure!
Which bow do you prefer the most
I like my PSE a lot
You read that well
👍
👍
How did you get GOOGLE to put it on their opening search page???? Send me a nice hunting picture of you.Thanks.
What's a hamburger hole?
Are string silencers actually effective? Complete bow noob here
There's more that goes into it than a simple yes or no answer, sadly. My first bow was dead quiet with a stabilizer and some cat whiskers on it. My current bow is nowhere near as quiet with the exact same things on it. Placement of them will help with quietness and vibration in different spots for your particular bow. Something that will help a lot is look around on some archery and hunting forums to see what other people are finding works with your exact same kind of bow. Mine, I just ended up having to get a specific kind of string stop that wasn't made with my bow and I'm a lot quieter now. Something else to take into consideration with your string silencers: you're going to lose a bit of arrow speed with the more stuff you put on your string and bow. Some people prefer speed over quietness, but if you're hunting, quietness is probably going to be more of a priority for you, but that's all personal preference and everyone you ask is going to tell you something different because of that
Yes there are other things that will affect bow noise more, but they can help.
advanced bow
Motor bow.
No video on that pse you bought? I am disappoint :(
