Today we go over Mourinho's ICONIC FC Porto tactics! A fantastic 4312 tactic that focused on defending as a unit and hitting teams on the counter attack. This tactic was an absolute joy to recreate in the game and I believe after days of testing/tweaking we have finally got a real masterpiece here.

Would like to see you make a Tactic utilising a Wide Target Forward, maybe try to recreate Egil Olsen's Norway "Flo Pass" Tactic of the early-mid 90's, or create some form of hybrid. Great stuff as always. 👍

Great tactic been looking for a narrow one as my team doesn't have good wide players and I'm not a fan of putting cms into the DW roles in the kinda diamond wide system even tho it's good result wise I just don't like my team to set up using that I much prefer this so thanks

As a Benfica fan, this tactic brings me nightmares 😅😅😅 but it seems spot on from what I remember from those days. Another great work, mate

Another thing I remember is that whenever he swapped Pedro Mendes for Alenichev, the latter would act more as a mezzala. I think that was the only change he made in midfield. Also, Ricardo Carvalho did act like a BPD depending on the opposition, and especially against teams that sat back in the Portuguese League
