What's a YOP? LOL Just the word "yawn" makes me do it. There are REAL reasons people yawn, medical reasons too, besides not getting enough sleep. I love you guys. Keep doing what you do the way you do it! Jodi, I feel bad for you holding back you yawns...If it helps, I yawned for you.

I think your yawns are just part of your makeup. I yawn when my blood sugar is low, when the air is not moving enough etc. etc. Just ignore those who have nothing else to do but whine and complain about every little thing. Some people are not happy unless they can make a negative comment. As for the interference just keep your mobiles away from the microphone. All is good. Keep up the great casts and am waiting for 100.

Stacie, I have wanted to tell you this for a long time. I have had life experience that tells me that you need a sleep study - I'm thinking that your sleep issues are due to sleep apnea. Forgive me for getting a little weirdo-personal, but I feel like I know you well enough to have this talk . . . OK . . . maybe it is a little weird for me to be a bit overly familiar. I'll shut up now . . .

Too funny! I was literally separating for the sleeves on a sweater as a knitted along watching your fabulous podcast, and I was doing the backwards loop cast on. It was like you were talking directly to me!!! I know how to do the cable cast on, but I usually do it when starting a sweater. So I tinked back and did the cable cast on (I was literally 5 stitches past my first backwards loop stitches). We must have had a mind meld via the interweb. It looks sooo much better. Thanks for the knitting inspiration and practical tips and advice.

Tracie, French accent! 😂 My first GPS I wanted the male with the Italian accent. Sadly he spoke in Italian and not English! If only, right?! 😂
Jodi, do not be upset. Rip it back to where you need, then be careful with further increase rows. I had to rip out my ranunculus yoke half a dozen times until I decided to count every increase and decrease row.

top down colourwork when the colourwork is in the yoke.. err.. nope.
It looks stunning, but I'm doing one of the bigger sizes of the Darkwater sweater, and to be fair, I'm knitting it way too big cause I'm scared of it being fitted, lol, but I had 400 stitches in colourwork, fingering weight, 4mm needle, before I split for the sleeves. Ick :P I'm glad to be nearly finished the body now

I must add a comment about Andie and her All Points West yarn. I discovered her yarn shop in 100 Mile House, at the beginning of October when we were on our way home from a trip to the lower mainland. She is a lovely person. I feel like she is a good friend after visiting her shop once. I bought a sweater quantity of her All Points North Yarn to make a second So Faded Sweater. Her Shop is called The Impossible Knot. 100 Mile House is about a 1 hour drive south from Williams Lake. I live in the Bella Coola valley so this shop is on my home from many places and I will definitely be shopping there again.

It is possible to alternate skeins every row while knitting flat, but it requires circular needle - you just need to slide your stitches on the needles for that. It goes like this: knit color 1, slide stitches back to the beginning, knit color 2, and then purl color 1, slide stitches back and purl color 2.

The colour is called linen grey (gris de lin) and the dye is from "bois de campêche" it is from Haematoxylum campechianum is a species of flowering tree in the legume family, Fabaceae, ... bloodwood tree, bluewood, campeachy tree, campeachy wood, campeche logwood, campeche wood, Jamaica wood, logwood or logwood tree)

Yes, the "bois de campêche" comes from central America, it is one of the most used dyeying plant because of the diversity of the colours it provides: Grey, black, purple, dark blue. During the 18th century in Europe it became the principal ingredient to dye coton, linen and wool.

Ohmigosh, ladies!! Thank you so much for showing my Glasswork Shawl pattern and All Points North yarn on your podcast! It was a super thrill to see it and I can’t wait for someone to be gifted with it 😊😊
Love watching you guys and seeing what you’ve been up to. I hope you like the gifted yarn, too. I picked the colours especially for each of you (can you tell that I’ve been watching your podcasts?! 😂😂) 😘 by the way, 100 Mile House BC is an hour south or Williams Lake or two hours north of Kamloops. You should come visit sometime!! You can also find me on Ravelry and Instagram as Impossible Knot Yarn Shop if you ever want to chat.
Say hi to Ros at your LYS for me, too. I met her at Knit City...she’s a hoot!
