First thing I thought of is that you were looking like Elton John! And I'm glad I wasn't a child of the '80s, the whole puffy jacket thing just is wrong. Lol So glad to see you guys back again , you are fun to watch and the knitting looks wonderful.
So lovely to see you both. I knit socks using small circumference needles and I also use a DPN to pick up the stitches for the decreases after the heel turn. Cool to see that you do that too. Love the projects you are working on. So happy to see you two 😁
Oh Em Geeee, please do every episode in costume, you both look FABULOUS!! Also, loving the facial hair, Scott! John, I cannot believe you are knitting 50+” of beige yarn….you are a hero! Thanks so much for another stellar podcast, guys!!
Great to see you guys back! I’m surprised Lion Brand mixed a superwash merino and an acrylic yarn in the kit, but the striped blanket is going to be really cute
Gotta say - The Long Kiss Goodnight is one of my guilty pleasures movies 😜 I have it on dvd and every so often pop it in when I need to unplug. Geena Davis was married to Renny Harlin at the time. I think I've only seen Cutthroat Island once. May have to see if it's streaming anywhere and give it another look 🤔 Glad you guys are back and healthy.
Your Harris story reminds me of my sister’s dog. She drove three hours to my house for our mother’s 70th birthday. She was able to stay for that party, but she had to go back super early the next day (we had three days of things planned since we had all the family in town) because her dog would not let the dog sitter (who he knew and really liked) into the house. He (80 pound dog) would stand just inside the door and howl and growl every time he tried to come in to feed him.
Great episode! I have not seen Terms of Endearment in forever! Two days before a 15 day trip to the UK, my pet sitter decided she did not want to take care of my cats. I was ready to go out and buy two kiddie pools for food and litter but finally found someone to help.
Yay a new episode! The past weeks i´m watching all your old ones while knitting a cardigan for my mother! Zauber means Magic and/or Charm , i love when non-german-speakers pronounce it.
OMG, that laugh, priceless John!! 😂🤣😂🤣 I love the movie reviews, I'm not a big movie person & I've actually wanted to watch a few.......of the good ones!!
Hi from Australia 🦘 Great to hear you both again on the airwaves. I love your movie reviews & yet I rarely watch movies. Am curious to know, John, what happened to that glorious WIP that was brown & blue, a sweater of some sort I think, as well as the WIP from the National Park Knitting Patterns Book Sending cheers to you both with a glass of home brewed stout in my hand🍺 Susan👵
so, the national park hat, it already given away, but I'll see if I can get a picture of it from the new owner. The Thorn Sweater has been out aside for a bit, but I'll get started on it again soon.
Scott looks like he's dressed as..... 1) a space man from the 80's....2) someone going jogging....3) someone going dancing a gay discoteck in the 80's....hahahhaha
John, I think most other folks would be with me - an episode every 48 hours isn't too much to ask of you guys...Love, Mom
😂🤩
If Elton John and Kris Kringle had a love child...
Good to see you both again! 🧡
Oh yay. So glad for the laughs, beautiful knitting, and company while I knit.
