- To celebrate the Monkees 45th Anniversary Tour in 2011, I have reconstructed the Monkees concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 19th May 2011 by editing together as many of the clips from the show that I could find posted by fans on youtube and other sources. There is no professional footage here. You will get to be right here in the audience with the fans that thankfully captured this wonderful footage for posterity and made it possible to bring this reconstruction to life. I've reconstructed around 45% of the concert and split the show into six sections with the following songs:
Part 1
Intro
I'm A Believer
Randy Scouse Git (Alternate Title)
Words
Part 2
That Was Then, This is Now
All Of Your Toys
What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round?
Valleri
No Time
We'll Be Back In A Minute
Part 3
"Head" Intro
Circle Sky
As We Go Along
The Porpoise Song (theme from "Head")
Part 4
She
A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You
Shades of Gray
Last Train to Clarksville
I Wanna be Free
Part 5
Saturday's Child
I'm Not Your (Steppin' Stone)
Daydream Believer
Pleasant Valley Sunday
Part 6
I'm A Believer (reprise)

RIP Davy Jones. You will be missed!!! It's quite sad all the good things in the world are going away. MJ,Whitney, and now him :(
who would have guessed that Davy would leave us in less than a year from this concert? :(
@elixir101 I would love a DVD also!! :) :) I went to the concert in Council Bluffs, IA and was disappointed cuz it was an OUTSIDE concert - we had to sit on a hill in the grass way in the back! BUMMER!! But I loved the show - cuz I love the Monkees! Been a fan since 1986!
Thank you so much for posting this up.I couldn't go as I was on Holiday, this more than makes up for it..I was at the last Albert Hall gig they did and it was fantastic.
Thank God for UA-cam.If you make a DVD I'd love a copy.
I'm watching this and living the moment.:-)
Wonderful - can i beg a DVD?! x
It was the best gig I have been to in years- just so much love in the house!
Let me know if it makes it to DVD!
Love
Si
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
I forgot psychedelia was so earnest.
Hermoso! Los amo!
Hey !!! Good stuff here !
I have a few from Tacoma,WA show on July 8th (near Seattle)... 3rd row
THX for posting these LONG videos ! Well done.
Very cool. The BEASTIE BOYS did the same thing with their fans. It was called "I was there". You did an amazing job and of course now its historical value is beyond brilliant. Your editing is so clever and a labour of love. It shows. Love you MONKEES and my first love DAVY RIP. I cant stop going through old DAVY and Monkee clips. Trying to see the lightning in the bottle I suppose. Celluloid love of a TV band.
We went to this concert in Atlanta and it was awesome! It was their first stop in the US and I was impressed with the show. If you make a dvd my wife would buy one.
@CrudeApples That's great, so many people went to see them and enjoyed their shows, they should have at least honoured their fans with some official product. But at least it was wonderful to have such a great and rare experience.
@simonwells61 I've been considering making it on a DVD. I did make one for my sunny girlfriend, with a different edit, more personal to us. I shall be looking at making a version of this one :o)
just wondering if you indeed put this together on dvd and would you make copies and sell? and how much? Id love to buy a copy from you, thanks for doing
Would love to know if you'd consider sharing a DVD.
This is really sad!
Mike should have been there but This was amazing.
This was a great show and it was such a pleasure to be there. It's made all the poignant now that Davy is gone. Did you not get footage of what was going on outside before the gig though? Loads of fun going on with the Monkeemobile - a fantastic surprise.
I'm sure it was great.
@elixir101 please let me know if u do put this to dvd would love a copy
Why couldn't the show be one whole instead being cut into 6 parts?
