- To celebrate the Monkees 45th Anniversary Tour in 2011, I have reconstructed the Monkees concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 19th May 2011 by editing together as many of the clips from the show that I could find posted by fans on youtube and other sources. There is no professional footage here. You will get to be right here in the audience with the fans that thankfully captured this wonderful footage for posterity and made it possible to bring this reconstruction to life. I've reconstructed around 45% of the concert and split the show into six sections with the following songs:
Part 1
Intro
I'm A Believer
Randy Scouse Git (Alternate Title)
Words
Part 2
That Was Then, This is Now
All Of Your Toys
What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round?
Valleri
No Time
We'll Be Back In A Minute
Part 3
"Head" Intro
Circle Sky
As We Go Along
The Porpoise Song (theme from "Head")
Part 4
She
A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You
Shades of Gray
Last Train to Clarksville
I Wanna be Free
Part 5
Saturday's Child
I'm Not Your (Steppin' Stone)
Daydream Believer
Pleasant Valley Sunday
Part 6
I'm A Believer (reprise)
Credits:
The Tattoo Girl, Eden Of Flowers, Annix 1971, Elixir 101, Alena Surgentova, Jim Scrivener, Stephanie Le Tissier, Daniella Rodrigues, Ms Cave 3, Lilo Mama 86, Doom Wolf, Nick Hider, and especially Darnoc 62 for some amazing close ups
Thankyou for all your hard work with editing this video collection !!!!!!!!
again I'm there when I couldn't be there(if you get my drift)fantastic.:-)
@bubblebear83 Thankyou for kind comment. The footage is edited from different fan's cameras. I would have loved to go to the show twice.
@bubblebear83 I managed to get some footage from flickr, and used some of my girlfriend's and my own footage for some shots, plus a couple of sound and photo pieces from a radio show and a monkees fan site, and mostly everything else from youtube. I don't recall exactly where each part came from, but I credited everyone at the end.
Great job. Thank you.
