- We’ve been super busy… we stayed home this past weekend, and managed to get ALOT done on the new shop! Vicki and I went to the LIGHT THE NIGHT Car Show & Cruise In, and I let HER drive my Malibu!
Sunday was my 50th birthday, and we spent the day putting Billy’s S-10 back together, and cruising the 55 Chevy.

Happy Birthday Bill I turned 60 on the 2 of September 2 weeks ago, Saturday. I know it's hard not having your mom around for your birthday. My mom passed away a few years back. And I haven't had a birthday since. I always remember she's there with you right now. Celebrating with you, it's not like giving me a kiss on the forehead. Antonio, how much she loves you. You might not hear or feel her. But she's there Happy Birthday, man.

Re; taking the '55 out for a cruize remembering Mom,, those of we elders who miss Mom & Dad can for certain appreciate what you're going thru. The memories NEVER leave bud,, but dealing with the grief,, it does get easier. The "Light of my Life",, my Grandma once told me as our life goes along there will be thousands of "little movies" created in our minds that mean something to each of us. Those little movies,, we hang onto them and remember the people who were important to us. Play those "little movies" with your Mom in them often,, she's with you forever. 🙂

Mom's there with youns Bill. She never left yalls side. Only now she's able to be next to everyone of you at the same time. Vicki smiling in the Malibu was cool. The ride in the 55 down to the dock was heartwarming. I used to drive up to my dads cemetery but I don't feel him there either. I feel him the most when I drive down to this old barn down the road where we used to house tobacco. Soon as I pull inside it feels like he's rt beside me. Sometimes we just need to feel that.
