- Ok, so this week I’ve been called on to fix 2 different carburetors that “needed tuned”
90% of the time, the biggest issue with performance cammed Small Block Chevys is improperly tuned IGNITION SYSTEMS.
Well, let’s just say I found 2 perfect examples this week, but the Trans Am was an EXTREME situation that made for an EPIC TEST DRIVE when the customer came to pick up his beloved Fully Restored “Restomod”1976 Pontiac Trans Am. - Авто та транспорт
This is what it's all about. Car guys helping car guys. Loved his reaction and he was genuinely grateful for you. Please don't stop making these great videos.
The expression on his face the first time he dropped it into first was priceless!! Great job Bill! Just goes to show no matter how old you are the need for SPEED never gets old! PEACE ✌️
Thought along the same lines, I must be getting older because I got more joy out of seeing his joy then I do sometimes for myself accomplishing something.
Dude with the trans am was great. LOL
“That’s what I’m talking about!” 😂 You made that man’s whole year Bill. The joy on his face and the excitement, he was over the moon. 👍✌️
That man was blown away feeling his car actually run right. Those are some priceless moments in life when ya feel like ya did it right. Cheers Bill 🍻
Man, when you got finished with that T/A it sounded phenomenal. Beautiful car.
Third shift here Bill, thanks for thinking of us!!! Great video as usual👏👏👏
So awesome to see all these companies collaborating with you all
Because Bill is the best at what he does he's just like my dad when it comes to this stuff that TA gets wild
Holy cow that was a great vid . I could totally see the guy with the trans am doing doughnuts , Rockford file reverse slide turn around thing , and burnouts for days !! He was like a little kid with a new RC car in a gravel driveway lol … Bob “ YUP “ lol . Great job everyone as always !!
Man, I learned so much from this video because that badass Trans Am. Your knowledge in tuning a car is so useful Bill. Keep the education coming brother 👍🏼
thats got to be the best feeling to be able to make a person that happy when you fix their ride like that . absolutely awesome never stop doing what you do may you and the family an friends always stay blessed you all are so awesome .
Damn, A 500 hp classic T/A tuned by the Old Man.....the owner can spend the extra cash on tires which he'll no doubt need soon I bet LOL. That's just good stuff right there.
You guys are a ray of sunshine in a dark world...God bless the SRC family 🙏
That trans am is absolutely gorgeous, but glad to see him getting to enjoy it finally after all that time and work. Keep up the great work guys.
That TA is so nice. Getting it tuned to run right and seeing the customers reaction is priceless. You can imagine how much it cost to build the car and not having it run 100% has to be depressing so good on you Bill for getting it going.
I couldn't decide whether you were nervous laughing while he was driving or you were just excited! Cool video Bill!
Lol one of the best pieces of advice I've ever gotten from an old school car builder was "90% of carburetor problems, arent"
That was awesome watching that guy enjoy his car.
That foliage tho !!! I've dreamed of driving down roads like that...!! Enjoy seeing yall put a smile on someone's face !!!
Mr. Bill love how even though your busy you still make time to help others staying true.
the Firebird guy's reaction is PRICELESS!!! You could see the hope in his eyes, when he cranked it up, but then the satisfaction was CLEARLY evident when he hammered it!! THEN the "one more time, ONE MORE TIME!" had me laughing and smiling and happy for him! GREAT JOB! on a great and gorgeous car!!!
That Trans Am looks awesome, the black/gold Bandit look is nice, but I've always thought the silver design was the best appearing. Great to see how happy the guy was getting to drive his car trouble free, great job!
"You happy with that?"
"OH YEAH!" 😂👍
Great content Bill, the trans am was priceless on his face glad the old man to the rescue.
Great to see another video of a great family and friends. Thanks Bill
Good stuff, the 427 is getting badder by the minute. Can’t wait for the s10 the changes he made was needed for as fast as he is fixing to go. I think Billy is going to be the chees-nit of a father. Bob seems to be enjoying his work now. Nice shop!!! Good day Bill
😅😊
Bill your one liners and your funny edits crack me up 😂 Working harder than a one armed wall paper hanger 😂😂😂😂😂 Thank you for your videos and laughs. Brandon from TN.
Nothing beats the smiles you put on people’s faces
Another MSD 6AL box gone bad? I feel like you and us have both been through this process a time or three already! Kudos to you spreading around some carb wizardry and getting a beautiful Bird figured out!
As a Pontiac guy YES we are more upset about the 400 SBC versus a 400 Pontiac! ;)
So much goodness going on at SRC and old man's garage go team go awesome stuff Bill thank you
Love the channel! What better to do @ 1 am!!! It never gets old watchin the whole crews videos. Wished there was 10 videos a day!

That trans am woke that man’s soul up.. he couldn’t stop smiling after that first taste ..Beautiful car!..
A heat shield or wrapped headers will help the starter.
One of my favorite channels on UA-cam. Great people!
I love it. Old guys having fun. Uncle Bob is looking good also.
That’s so cool you got the Ford pickup engine and TA figured out.
I love 💕 how cool 😎 Machine Shop Bob is and how his whole face lights up with excitement when you visit his shop! He really is a AWESOME 👍 MECHANIC and good person. The Old Man knows how to pick good people to be in his life, WAY TO GO! The people in your life ARE VERY SPECIAL, so please cherish them. The people are so cool there that it makes ME want to move to that area. Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.
Possibly one of the best videos ever😂love when you help with other peoples projects
That TransAm is absolutely beautiful. I love those cars.
The Man said “Let’s do that again”. Oh how that was priceless!!! He will never forget what you did for him. There is no telling how many people he has showed that video too.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m missing your daily videos. I know that you’re a busy man. In the same sentence you had spoiled us. Would really like to see more on the new shop over the years I’ve felt like you’ve family is part of mine. As far as I’m concerned, nothing better than old man’s garage and coffee to start my day off with the coolest family family on the internet. Thank you for all the laughs and knowledge you have provided for us all. 👊🏻
That guy was awesome, so happy his car was finally working properly. 👊
Not many things better than watching old timers reminiscing banging gears.. therapeutic.
When the owner of the Trans AM said it doesn't have any oomph to it. My first thought was, you are in for a helluva suprise Sir! 😂😂
The coolest thing I've seen, is a guy build a car and then rip it! Most of the time once they are built then they get babied. Ol boy was ripping passes. That was awesome! Godspeed ol' boy.
Making people smile one tune up at a time
The owner of the TA is going to have a blast with that car.Let the shenanigans begin!
Videos like this are awesome. Just two guys giggling like little kids. Hell it made me crack up!
One more time !!! 🤣🤣. The joy you brought to this man is priceless .
That was a bad TA , that was the first car which started my love for sick rides. Then the GT 5.0 and so on. His expression when he cracked the throttle, priceless. Fire vid Bill. As always!!
I’ve never laughed so hard in a while. He had do one more time in that TA ! Greatness

This made me giggle just like you!! 😂 He got transported back to his 1st T/A when you had him roll in from low.......just one more time!!🤣👌🏾
You definitely got him reliving his younger life when he owned his first trans am.
Best way to start by morning... An old man's garage video! Glad to see all the growth and success you guys are having! Love all y'all's channels keep up the good work!

The South Park addition was hilarious 😂
Great job Brother You made that guys day. Saving lives One carbureted old school at a time!!😁👍🏼🏁
The Jegs Sales Associate IS so AWESOME 👍, I wish that I could buy parts from that COOL DUDE 😎.
The Trans-Am guy, that was super to see his joy. Good thing y'all have all the road track on private property for testing.
Thank you Jesus for thos Family!!!
So many of these "carb" issues are classic. A lot of the younger folks haven't had the experience of tuning an engine properly at all. Good on the old man for helping the newer folks understand the issues that are the real problem.
Younger? Dude was like 70....
I'm young and don't have "carb" problems...
I maybe used the wrong phrase to suite everyone when I said younger folks. It was meant in a broader sense in relation to most people in general. Not a lot of folks know the proper way to tune and read an engine.
That T/A turned into a ripper!
Man, I've been procrastinating locking out my timing for awhile now, guess this answers my questions about doing it on a street car. May just do it this weekend, I'm sick of the shitty, stinky idle.
I have a question, just one I promise! Locked the timing and it retards timing while being revved, like 6deg. So, do I set the timing till it stops retarding, and just live with more idle timing or just set it at idle and live with the loss of timing?
Or, just go with a crank trigger and cal it good🤷
You could be in ful time business helping people dial in their engines, so many kids get discouraged when things go wrong, and it sours their experience, your doing great work sir Bill... your the Man
Bless you sir
Doing gods work
You made that man’s day ! Nice job.
Atta boy !!!!! Smiles are contagious, your a good man William!
i never stopped smiling from the time bill said drop it in low and kick it
Hell yeah, glad to see the owner driving that car how it deserves!
One armed wallpaper hanger is almost funny as a one legged ass ki*cking contest ❤❤❤
Thanks for new video and new shop is looking great glad you all are getting everything under one roof
Awesome job Bill, one slick car and one happy dude! Loved it man!
Him driving that transam the way it should just put a huge smile on my face…no matter how old ya get that shit never gets old! I wonder if the cam in it would like a single plane or maybe a taller dual?? Anyway that’s badass !! Glad to see you got em right!
63 degrees of timing.. surprised it started.
What a cool video... Ol Man every video seems to be put together and the final product better than the last.. really cool seeing the owner of that trans am smiling.. can't wait to see the 427 on nitrous in the nova..
That man was happy!!
Most carb problems, have always been ignition problems. You Sir understand the PV better than the current Holley people.
Always welcome in South Carolina Bill. Bring that feller with the TA to! Your right, that's one nice ride.
