- Hello people, this is my DeathBlight Mage build in Elden Ring at level 80 for PvP Invasions.
With this build you want to be casting the Fia’s Mist spell as much as you can will being aggressive with the Eclipse Shotel’s weapon art.
This build works best when you catch teams in cramped and small spaces and when the invasion gets chaotic. This build is extremely fun and when people get Death Blighted it’s very satisfying.

@@CondimentsIV Would you be willing to do like, a more traditional or well-rounded Mage build? I've always wondered how you actually ever _land_ things when projectiles that do good damage can take so long to come out and rolling is so effective. Is it literally all chip damage with Shooting Stars/Swift Glintstone and occasionally trading into people with Slicer or blindsiding them with Cannon of Haima? Or is there a way to actually use tools that have delayed onset like Spiral Shard and Magic Glintblades and the Phalanx spells to fuck up people's roll timings so you can catch them? I've just never seen a good demonstration that specifically gives an idea of how to exploit timings/variable projectile speeds and play around them to make less reliable stuff like Comet/Night Comet or Cometshard land.
Yeah man I can try a build like that always wanting to try new build ideas, my next video is close to that but more a melee mage, already filming for that! Haha

I think you hold the record for most procs in a video.
It did take a couple nights of invading to get them all but it’s always fun getting them deathblighted haha thank you bro!
Might I suggest instead of the shotel using a low damage weapon with the ash of war that creates a tornado, (storm wind?) its very good for baiting someone in and keeping them there for a long time, a good way to keep them in the mist. God I wish they would buff deathblight, its a shame how youll likely kill them with r1s before you proc the build up.
Yeah I hope we get more DeathBlight in the dlc but who knows, and yeah that seems like a good way for the mist spell to shine haha
Great Video and build ! I just wished the animation would still happen if you kill them with the weapon ignited or the death lightning even without being at full Blight

I play on console
I tried a deathblight build and won 3 fights, I only did 4 fights
And one person messaged me saying that they were reporting me for hacking in deathblight
I replied, "were on console, we can't hack"
Yeah some people get too mad I’ve had my fair share of hate messages on console haha, not seen a hack on console yet tho

Death blight builds are so stat hungry. DEX INT and FAITH. Such grand skill you have at growing trees.
Yeah they really are but I’m ok with doing not amazing damage as it gives deathblight a chance to build up haha
You're doing it wrong. Cast the spell at your feet. It has always worked like this since the time of the daemon. Cast all poisons-mists-acids under your feet. Anyone who attacks you even a little, but will fall into the fog. A surprising number of people fall into the Fii fog, I would never have guessed how many.
Yeah there’s a lot of people that get caught out with DeathBlight surprisingly!
It's sad that Death Blight doesn't work in PvE. Enemies can terrorize us with it, but we can't do the same in return.
Yeah would be quite fun at least for the smaller human type enemies.
Or maybe it could just do some % of bosses health and have a visual effect of some branches growing on their skin, I hope someone does a mod of this someday. @@CondimentsIV

I made a similar build before but i found myself killing people before getting them to deathblight. Is it better to use an unupgraded Shotel so the raw damage is less?
If your only going for the DeathBlight that might be a good idea but spam some Fia’s mist as well it works well.

Why use the Old Lord’s Talisman?
Just extends the duration of a spell I think so might extend how long the death blight cloud stays.
