- Lifting and towing a tractor burned to a crisp!
No use for fire extinguishers, this tractor is burned beyond recognition. By the time I arrive, fire department took care of the fire and left the salvage recovery to us. I responded with Hulk, my 50-ton rotator, to handle this wreckage. I started by splitting the tractor from the container.
Once free, I was able to drag the tractor so I can rig it properly, then suspend it so my Landoll can back up underneath. Our environmental truck was also dispatched to assist CalTrans with the horrible mess left behind.

What a mess, what a backup!
You do a great job, but you need one more piece of equipment. One of those big sweeper/scraper/washer trucks like they use in those situations in Germany. It would help your environment crew a lot and reopen the road quicker.
Sweepers aren't exclusive to Germany. I have no need for that as the scope of my cleaning services is basic /medium size spills. Anything over is considered Hazmat like this, and that requires a ton of stuff to be on. We just assisted cal trans with absorbent and some barrels before they took over. Zero desire for up scaling the clean up right now

Just be glad this wasn't in the any other part of the country where we are freezing our asses off. Great drone shots.
Things have changed all we did was shove trash to the side and let the state or county deal with it. But that was 40 years ago. We also still used mechanical booms had one hydraulic and that cost big money in those day and could only lift 25 tons.
Man, that was one crispy critter. It looked like someone left it in the oven WAY TOO long.
A bit different recovery than car fishing. Sad to see a trucks life end that way. But good job Pepe's.

@@PepesTowingService No, I ment that the Vehicle could not be hurt any more than it already had been hurt, the chains might bring some of the dents back towards the normasl form of the vehicle.

I'm thinking that tractor can be saved. A lot of that damage can be buffed out.
