Grew up reading comics where Pre-Retcon Beyonder was featured. He was a good read. Ret con feels like a slap to the face.
In my opinion they should leave the Beyonder just as he was in the beginning but make him second in power to the One Above All.
He is actually above TOAA in power. TOAA is God of the Marvel Multiverse. Beyonder is God to everything around it, which is quoted to be much much larger.

I was a teen and collecting marvel at the time SW1 and SW2 came out. Always been one of my favorite story lines. Beyonder and pre-ret molecule man were actually stated on one of the final pages of SW2 as "the two mightiest beings in all of existence clash". Good times.

That was because one of the editors at the time at Marvel hated the character (The editor In Chief Jim Shooter created the character in the first place) The Beyonder was deemed much too powerful so they decided to have the Beyonder exit gracefully in a way that was more realistic so it was decided to make him an incomplete cosmic cube with Owen Reece aka Molecule Man being the other part. (his origin gets changed as well now he was created as a singularity bomb by the same Beyonders that was set to go off in every timeline and demension throughout the entire Marvel Multiverse the Beyonders wanted to see what would happen if everything was wiped out, ) and that was where the Multiple Beyonders were reintroduced as the creators of the energy that powers the cosmic cubes. btw cubes are only limited in power due to certain taboos that they placed upon themselves but in truth according to Mephisto the Cube rival the Infinity Gems. Now the Beyonder has be retconned (again) as child unit of the Beyonders. And they got nerfed by the writers with a stupid plot hole by having Doctor Doom apparently killing them.
He's simply the Infinity Gauntlet that works anywhere.

Pre-Retcon / Secret Wars Beyonder was the most powerful character in Marvel at the time. The only one that was equal to him was The Secret Wars Molecule Man. Although, I wonder how a fight between him and Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet would go.

Aye Ivan do you think you could do more street fighter characters? I really wanna see characters like Seth, Zangief, and Balrog get covered. People seriously downplay theses characters a lot so I figured you’re by far one of the only people who can do this franchise some justice. I told people that the beyonder is truly the embodiment of all of marvel as a whole.
The most op character in the Marvel universe you would think he was the writers themselves.
Yeah the only one he wasn't controlling was Owen Reece the molecule man and this is because according to walk to the Watcher on Reese was the most powerful being native to the Marvel Universe beyonder and the one above all are technically outside of the Marvel Universe flash Multiverse SO watches statement still stands. Once his self restrictions were removed then the molecule man at least at the time could control physical reality and ways to not even Franklin Richards can do even now.

By stalemate in the beyonder it proves that he and the beyonder were on similar level to power if not experience. In fact one thing that a lot of people forget is that it was on Reese that talk to beyonder into recreating death. And according to the behinder he required someone willing to die in order to recreate the concept of death for that universe.

Stan Lee already said that beyonder is the strongest character... He is million and million time stronger than all of Marvel characters put together. Beyonder is a concept. Which is way more beyond than the Marvel realm. Anything aside than the Marvel are ruled by Beyonder and he exist everywhere within the Marvel as well as outside the Marvel.
Beyonder was the real God. He was created by Jim shooter in 1984 and TOAA was created in 2004. The concept of Beyonder is that he is beyond anything. The writers knew that they had to create a character whose powers can be questionable even in other franchise like DC and Anime universe to give us a concept that Beyonder not only exist in Marvel franchise but also elsewhere in a different name like Presence in DC. His character was hated by a lot of Marvel staff and including the director so they had to nerfed him hard when Jom shooter left. And later they introduced TOAA. The Beyonder u see now is very weak. Anyway BEYONDER exist Before TOAA he is a concept that he is a million and million time larger than the entire Marvel Omniverse. Even if TOAA represent the writers which is Stan Lee, Beyonder is a concept already existed B4 TOAA. It's a smart idea used by Jim shooter to tell the other comic franchiseThe writers can't be above a concept. The One above all only rule MARVEL, the Beyonder rule everything. Something to think about: if TOAA didn't create the beyond which was an ocean compared to the drop of water the marvel multiverse is, does that mean PRB is stronger than him? But since PRB isn't truly omnipotent does that mean TOAA is stronger? I think so.
BTW, Thanos defeating above all others isn't canon, so you can't use that to prove TOAA isn't omnipotent.
I would say PR Beyonder was second to TOAA. And btw there is no way PR beyonder can attack let alone fight pre-retcon TOAA as he is god. So that automatically means TOAA is stronger.
