- Could Marvel Win The Tournament Of Power? Marvel Comics VS Dragon Ball Super, who would win? Dragon Ball Super's tournament of power arc was by far one of the most insane shonen sagas in history, as it had Son Goku and his friends face off against super strong adversaries like Jiren and the rest of the pride troopers. Goku's team eventually ended up winning despite the massive odds stacked against them. But what if Omni-King Zeno decided to hold a second tournament of power and added in competitors from the Marvel Comics multiverse? Would Goku and his allies be able to defeat these new contenders, or would they fall like the rest? In this video, we thoroughly analyze the power set and accolades of multiple marvel characters, from the agile Spiderman, the sharp claws-having Wolverine, the green rage-monster Hulk, the OG mutant, Apocalypse, and the cunning and highly-intelligent Victor Von Doom, AKA Doctor Doom. How strong is Goku and the rest of the Z-Fighters like Black Frieza, Ultra Ego Vegeta, and Beast Gohan? How strong are these Marvel characters? Find out as we go in depth to determine who would become the victor of this more challenging tournament of power!

That's why we said we are using peak versions. And we also said lowballed versions of some characters like Wolverine gets rocked. Dr. Doom, Hulk, and Apocalypse have many consistent feats to keep up with DB god tiers.

Wolverine will be a liability in this tournament because there's no killing.
Yeah, it'll be harder for him to fight but he can still deal some damage without killing them. He's stabbed Gladiator through his arm before and it didnt kill him.
Wolverine wouldn't be allowed in the X Men and the Avengers if he didn't know how to fight non letally.
@@Chuck His claws might not be allowed at all. The Freeza race guy got disqualified from the tournament before it, same rules, for having an artificial spike implant in his body.
@@isabelpage5950 i think the claws would be allowed beause he was born with them. He might have enhanced them with adamantium, but he was born with it. The tournament allowed for winged characters to fly even though there was a rule againt flying, i can't see why Wolverine couldn't use his artificially enhanced claws.

Wolverine brushing off the notion of fighting Spider-Man is mad ironic considering his win to loss ratio against Spider-Man ends up with more wins on Spider-Man’s end than Logan’s (though Logan admits Spider-Man would win if Peter doesn’t hold back. Which is pretty consistent as Logan lost hard to Kaine Parker’s Scarlet Spider and Superior Spider-Man. And yes Im aware of their fight in contest of chaos where both were supposed to be bloodlusted but that very explicitly ended with Spider-Man beginning to resist the influence on his mind, which Logan caught him slipping under.)

Beating Kraven and 90’s era Venom isn’t nothing (modern Venom might win though. Cuz current Eddie Brock is much smarter than back in the 90’s, has better mastery and experience over his symbiote (though Logan has more combat experience overall, that’s just a fact), and just has his head more put together now…well, of course that’s assuming you’re trying to make things more contentious instead of giving him the King in Black powers he has right now and making things a total stomp in Eddie’s favor)

@@Chuck nah, normal Peter still bullies Logan. Logan has literally nothing against the spider sense and he's on a completely different level speed and strength wise. When we look at their biggest feats of strength, Peter held up the side of the Daily Bugle and if we take Web of Shadows as something he's capable of this man can casualy rip Adamantium apart. Logan's biggest strength feats give him like 2 tons compared to Parker's half a million tons. It's literally a coughing baby fighting a hydrogen bomb. Even if we take Peter's 10 ton at face value Logan is outclassed here.

The problem with comic characters is that their power and abilities can vary wildly up or down from one arc to the next all based on the writer. It’s frustrating as there is little consistency.

Regardless you have to acknowledge the inconsistency with comic characters. It makes being a fan frustrating. I’ve loved Spider-Man since I was 8. I own the comic where he beat Firelord. It’s an incredible feat. But he also gets hurt by street tier characters without powers like the Kingpin. These things can’t be reconciled. It’s writers not caring about consistency. Most of the time it doesn’t matter much but sometimes it’s unbelievable.

Respect chuck this was legendary!! I honestly had some disagreements with dr. Goons on his orange piccolo vs the thing video. I think orange piccolo has few win factors and it’s all up to situation of the fight. I do agree hulk, ghost rider, apocalypse and dr.doom are way too powerful to be defeated by current dbs. This was legendary video respect to both dr. Goons and Chuck honestly I’m here for every video that includes this!!! I would also love to hear you two talk about certain scaling issues that both comics and anime fan bases brings up in a debate.

The only thing that I don’t like about this comparison is that when talking about the Marvel characters, while some of their lows were mentioned, they just focused on their greatest feats of power.
But when it came to Dragon Ball, they ignored the greatest feats and focused on what they thought was, in their words, “the most consistent range”.
Not saying Marvel wouldn’t win anyway. You could easily fill their whole 10 member team and have a couple more full teams even with characters that match Dragon Balls greatest mortals, which can be counted with 1 hand by the way.
And I only say match because after a certain point it’s impossible to keep calculating. That point being when a character punches a multiverse and timeline out of existence and on the next page his punches break rocks. And the same thing happens with Marvel.
I just mean, it didn’t seem like a fair comparison, then again, it’s a comics channel and we know 99% of people came to this video to be told Spider-Man solos Dragon Ball.
Was gonna have basically the same comment, that’s how it is with these channels they completely ignore the lows of their characters saying “it’s not canon” or “a low ball” but in the same breath the other characters from those feats become on par with the ones they are fighting even when they just said it’s “non canon” or “low ball” like when he mentioned how rhino was able to suplex silver surfer and hit him with a pinball machine, only 2 things can be true with that feat, either A: rhino is on par with silver surfer or at least in that range of power, and if that is the case than that would also mean he is in the same ball park as characters like galactus or Odin which is already ridiculous, or B: which I think is more likely, silver surfer actually didn’t want to fight the thing which if you go back and look he actually says “ I wish not to fight” or sum like that so by that quote right there ik silver surfer isn’t even trying, not to mention, to even bring up that feat, silver surfer has to be hurt by the attack for it to be significant but if you go back and look bro was unfazed he took some attacks and ate it like it was breakfast, and so by that logic mentioning the rhino feat is meaningless. Now am I trippin or nah??

There is one problem with this video. The TOP rules weren't considered in the combat situations. Even if the DB characters are weaker (which they are), the tournament is about knocking your opponents out of the arena, which they could do for the majority. I still think Marvel would win it, but I think that was a glaring issue.

What about a omniversal tournament of power: DC, Marvel, Dragon Ball, Star Wars, Naruto, Bleach, One Punch Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo's, Saint Seiya etc. And then pick the ten 10 strongest, what universe will survive?

Im no expert in anything lol but i get they used the strongest highballed versions of the characters but im assuming some of the feats are highball outlier type things outside of the normal characters abilities like mr satan vs a wolverine that got knocked out by a dear or the highballed wolverine vs goku that got scratched by a bullet anyway my question is how do the characters stack up if you use the most consistent version of both but thats not easy when marvel has so many versions of each character where dragon ball does not

When used on The Punisher it failed because, as Deadpool used an angel feather on the Punisher before his encounter with the Rider, as Ghost Rider's abilities fail on those who have divine protection on their soul. The Penance Stare was later shown to work on Punisher, causing him to throw up from the pain.
Also I have doubts on it working on Galactus. It feels inconsistent since displays forget the fact that he has no soul to burn since he's a cosmic entity.
@@THENemesisXX99 if it a comic storyline it would probably work on galactus but it then shows how galactus does not get affected by it that much since he was pushed into that role and shows a view on galactus

In a tournament where the only way to win is by ring-out, Marvel's teleporters would be the dominant factor. Magik could instantly defeat everyone who doesn't have wings in the first second of the tournament by teleporting them out of the ring, while someone like Nightcrawler could do it 1 at a time. If Goku didn't have this need to fight all the time and didn't care about fighting fair, he'd use his Instant Transmission to ring-out anyone who was giving him too much trouble. This power would also be able to save teammates from being knocked out of the ring as many times as it takes. The specific rules of the tournament would give Marvel an edge if they had even 1 teleporter, and a huge edge if said teleporter was Magik who can easily make dozens of teleportation portals at the same time.
A better question would be "how many dragon ball characters does it take to defeat the avengers?"
