I was going to mention the barefoot on the rocks myself, but anyway, I really enjoy your vids! Your skill set, knowledge, and well spoken demeanor is that of someone well beyond your age, from your fishing to your cooking you should be extremely proud of yourself! I've been fishing since I was young, guided, and more and am 53 now and very impressed! Keep up the good work and humble attitude!
These are Old china camp railroad ties and yes there scary as hell as the tips have been worn down into nice sharp daggers. Here you can at least see them but when there only exposed 5-6 inches at a mid tide tide point you can easily step on them and take a nasty wound.. State parks wont allow them to be removed claiming there historic relics. I tried to cut off the tips as was told it would be a major fine if caught trying to remove them.
Yesss Santa Cruz surf caster with another video 😀 I actually met you yesterday at the store. I was very nervous but wanted to say more things to you. I just wanted to say that I was a subscriber and I love your videos! You have my support and keep up the great work! You’re an awesome fisherman! 😀 we couldn’t find the crab nets we were looking for but we will be on a hunt for it this week lol hope to see you out on the beach! Good luck! 😀
I used to go to either Capitola or Seacliff first with a throw net, catch fresh perch and chunk them out on that beach. Catch plenty Leos, sometimes guitarfish, 7-Gill and big striper. Good times 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Surfcaster are those gripper or vibram shoe soles you use to "rock" fish? You're just a 1/4 mile up from your usual spot. Is that the surf....or a lake? With so few waves. Not very many "surf" locales like that!!!
