Daniel, it was a such a pleasure to see you in person and getting to know you. I will look forward for both of us to grow even more as an UA-camr, teacher, entrepreneur, and lots more. Thanks.
The beasts from the far east. Great collaboration. I've followed the both of you for a long time. Keep up the practical, science based, humbling yet encouraging information and demonstration!
Two of my absolutely favorite and most motivating people. I seriously support both of you and I wish you all the best. So excited you got to meet each other and I got to watch it. You guys rock! Daniel I hope you get more consistent with your UA-cam uploads, I always love seeing new informative content from you. You rock!
This is true strength, being able to collaborate, knowing that you need Not to "compete" against other fitness influencers. You guys know your worth and are confident that there is always someone better than you at something else, this does not mean you have to bash or slander those who might "steal" business or followers from you. Here and in the other collaborations I have only seen knowledge sharing and profesional behavior. Some other "Calisthenics Athletes" should learn from this Mature approach.
No way! Some of the only people I truly trust in the calisthenics world getting together! Now all you need is Dad, Dan and eggs and my world is complete!
Excellent video! Though not as advanced or polished with my movements, I can relate 100% to all that has been said. This really motivated me, as it is very rare to find this kind of talk on UA-cam fitness channels. Thanks.
Two ambassadors of the sport. Great guys. Good luck in all your endeavours. You always produce real interesting, useful, inspirational and helpful content. Great to see u working together.
Thanks for the inspiration guys..I'm 53 and still very active, I train Capoeira, competitive basketball, surf and beach volleyball. I love calisthenics but somehow I don't really know the exercises I should do to benefit all the sports I play..Am I confusing my muscles?. I never train in the gym with weights(hate it). I can still jump high although I never train my legs. I guess it is a gift from above..What is the best calisthenic exercises I should do that would benefit all the sports I love to play?
@@EriPages hey, wild comment to see again. I highly recommend body by rings by FitnessFAQ very highly and I was in amazing condition until about a few months after this comment. I was in a crazy golf cart accident and hurt my neck when it tipped over and the top of it landed directly on my neck and traps. I was out of commission for a year then Covid-19 hit. I’m 39 and turn 40 in November butI’m about to start up again. Not sure if I’ll be able to do muscle ups or advanced things ever again but I’m still gonna work for it.
most beginners could not do a tuck handstand to planche 7:40, i agree with the point but dynamics often require a moderate level of competency and strength
What a great vid, both of my favorite heavyweights in one vid! Much love, happiness and success to both of you brothers! also those dips were literally the cleanest I’ve ever seen in my life!
The one and only thing I wish that I could tell my younger self would be to listen to my body, and train around injury rather than on top of it. I would no longer have chronic tendonitis if I had done that.
12:10 pro tip: if you want to make your deadlift skyrocket, you don't need to deadlift, and you don't need to grip... do good mornings. you mention range of motion? well... yeah... still VERY taxing on the CNS though. you might just do one heavy set a week, no joke, but i bet you make progress. added over a hundred pounds to mine with just GMs. and if you have a reverse hyper machine... that too.
I really enjoyed the series. You legitimately are an inspiration. Especially because you dont complain and actually adress the issue that we need to work on. When you said that having big legs actually helps you be stronger, it really hit me, and its so true. Obviously it would depend on the person and the goals that everyone has. Nevertheless, I can see you consciously worked very hard on what you have learnt. In comparison to Chris Heria or any other youtuber who just sensationalizes everything he does. Or even believing they are the best of the best, which is itself a limiter. If you upload any podcast or talk show about fitness, I would totally hear it. Cheers.
great video Dan and Dan . I'm a little interested in you deadlift and squat number . Also that gym looks great, Pretty much my dream gym , just need a few squat rack and and a climbing wall
What are your thoughts on the Heavy, medium, light programming with a FUN/variety day thrown in at the end of the week? You are effectively hitting a movement/s 3 times a week of varying intensity for that targeted progression, but then a day of variety fun to keep your mind happy too.
I actually find it very interesting how similar Dan and Daniel's physiques are, it's essentially a sample of what a heavyweight calisthenics athlete will turn out to be after a few years of solid training.
Hi man. I'm a big fan of yours! I was wondering what training techniques did you use to break through strength plateaus and get stronger? Do you think yielding and overcoming isometrics is a good way to get stronger? like if I can't bench 200 lbs, but If I start holding a static position of that 200lbs for a longer period of time, would it help me to bench 200 lbs really quickly? please let me know what's your opinions on this, Thank you!
Great video guys, learned a great deal from listening to you both. Got me thinking seriously about how I structure my training, time for review me thinks.

In what ratio we should do
Pull ups : push ups : sit ups : squats ??

I really liked this video. Dan, invite Dan to Korea and make videos? show him around, introduce him to all kind of food and drinks, etc.
Loved this one. Got that podcast vibe but with some great visuals too :)

I very much liked how this wasn’t fully about “training” but also about life in general, this was very helpful thank you guys.

I only see positvity and passion for the art here. No racism. This is so awesome.

This interview was much more natural and had a good flow. Keep up the good work Dan.

Thanks for the interview dan! I'm enjoying the long-form discussions and interviews you've been doing!
That was interesting thanks for the upload!
Thanks for doing these interviews, they're so informative and motivating, especially for tall guys like me that are still newish to calisthenics.
Thier strength, athleticism and physiques are goals.
Im also a heavyweight so finding a good bar is hard as i also like to add weight.
There is so much information packed in this! Just wondering if there is a specific way to find your own weaknesses?
Great video, v.informative. got me running to the rings now!!
Really useful stuff, especially how to break up your week. With so many moves to learn, it’s hard to train everything, alongside a full-time job.
I love this concept so much. Can wait for the next series. It’s also nice that you introduced him.
It was enlightening to hear advanced practitioners talk about the things they struggle with.
This!! This is what we needed! That intro bear was smooth btw.
