Pro ably the best was Vatanen vs Toivonen in the Manta 400s. Toivonen won "comfortably, but did they ring the absolute best out of each other. Superb. That was possibly 1983?

For us Finns, Markku Alén, Hannu MIkkola, Ari Vatanen and Henri Toivonen, Simo Lampinen, Timo Mäkinen, Timo Salonen, Juha Kankkunen, Tommi Mäkinen, Marcus Grönholm and many other wonderful Finnish drivers are Flying Finns and legends that we will remember forever. We greatly appreciate and respect the great ones who competed with them like Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz, Walter Rörhl, Richard Burns, Petter Sohlberg, Sebastien Loeb and Stig Blomqvist etc ... Thanks for the great video yet!
I came here to see some classic rally. But this good feller from another era is really a salt of the earth guy. Yes in 2021 i'm really distracted by day to day basis thinking and he reminded me of our individual big picture still waiting for us to complete it. Salute

Ari, Henri, and Hanu. Three of the all time greats. Rallying was so exciting and raw I would say and full of real personalities. UK rallying was the standard for others to follow..

Coleman was every bit as fast he could have went all the way to the top , but he loved farming more .
