As always awesome! You turned a ho hum tree grove into a beautiful work of art! A simple painting but very pleasing to the eye. Love it! Too bad you lost the awesome clouds and sky. Still can't believe how you make acrylics look like oil.

the one think that i hate is when he done painting that picture perfect-mountain or sky, and then starting to add an extra tree or details and all that just dissapears like its never been there ... good work man!
Great painting! Please keep making lots of tutorials using acrylic paints. There are not a lot of fine artists producing videos using acrylics. Would love to hear your tips on using acrylics and to see more tutorials for sale on your website specifically for painting with acrylics.

Beautiful! Would you change your approach if using gouache? I started in gouache and like exploring it more fully, I would need to let each layers dry a bit before building on the previous one...but wondered if you'd have any suggestions to keep in mind while tackling a painting of an olive tree. Thanks for sharing your steps! Helps so much to see your process!

I have a question. Does allaprima painting techniques work equally well for acrylics as it does for oils?
Many of the same techniques can be used in acrylic. However, because of the difference in drying time, some of the techniques will have to be adjusted. Since you are misting you must be doing acrylics paint. Is there much difference in oil. Can I follow you using oil paint?

I searched your channel for videos on cleaning brushes: "cleaning", "clean", and "mineral" - and I couldn't find any. Do you have any tips for this procedure?
EmpyreanLightASMR for oil brushes, wipe all the excess paint from brushes with paper towel. Bounty is good, many used Viva in the past but now has a lot of lint. There's a product called turpinoid natural, it's non toxic, cleans brushes and conditions. Its good to have a bucket with screen on bottom. Then wipe again and lay flat. Hope this helps.

I feel the same - why paint that amazing distant landscape and then put an enormous tree in the foreground ? I think the tree is excellent but he’s covered up too much of the original great work.

The Gamer hi, Kevin has a series of techniques for oils. Also many beginner full lessons to paint along. The techniques series is a good place to start, once you practice trees, grass and all the other elements, you then would be able to paint along, and or create your own compositions. Enjoy the journey.

just go to paintwithkevin.com and they're all listed. on the website they just say "paint with kevin" brand, but for example his oils are through Gamblin so maybe them?
