It's about the Italian Camorra in Naples and not the American Italian mob, but I've seen him react to scenes from Yakuza games before. So it would be interesting to hear his take on the series and the differences between the Italian and American Mafia. Because the series gets a lot of praise for the realism. Most events from season 1 are actually based on events from the real world.

A .45 ACP actually makes a lot of sense for use with a suppressor. The standard ammo is already subsonic, and it's a big heavy bullet, so it's gonna be much quieter than something like a 9×19mm Parabellum with standard ammo, which tends to be supersonic and will create a supersonic crack. .45 ACP basically achieves comparable muzzle energy to a lot of common 9mm loads (around 500 joules) without breaking the sound barrier. So it's a good choice for use with a suppressor. Or if you cannot use expanding projectiles like hollow points for whatever reason. It's that "echo" or snap you'll typically hear after a rifle has been fired. Same thing applies to several handgun calibers and ammo types. As long as the bullet achieves a velocity that is faster than the speed of sound, you're gonna get a sonic boom, and a even with a suppressor the gunshot will be audible. Indoors a sonic boom can even be enough to cause hearing damage, even if you use a suppressor. Also depends on what you're shooting with and the suppressor you're using.

The fact that Tony would get killed if people found out that he was seeing a psychiatrist was the main plot point of the first season. There are multiple attempts on his life for this reason

    • @vicentekokaly322

The Sopranos is also about a mafia from the 2000s, and at that time the Cosa Nostra was much less organized than in the Franzese era, so I think the fact that Tony sees the psychiatrist is purposely done to show how the mafia was ruined in those days.
