I’ve had O Rings snap on other manufacturers too. Wear and tear of Lake O monsters is a thing. Change them out once in a while if you get pouty losing fish.

Won't forget it nope. But it was actually slower then last year though! Hit 63 last spring. 😂
5 years ago you could almost break 100 fish in a full day.

The hooks falling off happen. I have had it happen in the net or when a fish twists. But never 3 spoons in a matter of a couple hours. Would have been nice for company to just own up that they over stretched the rings. It could have been dealt with and moved on. Laugh about it. When I saw how they did their split rings and with the wrong pliers I knew there was an issue. When I tried to explain to them I was dealt with attitude and terribly rude emails. That was what ruined the brand for me. I like supporting companies, but not when the owner acts that way. As you can see in the video I was still promoting the spoon. It wasn't until after getting home and speaking with them that I decided to stop using them in the future.
what a bumper day congrats......heading out to Dalhousie in a day or two ....would you mind sharing with me the depth you were in and the color and size of the Moonshine lures you used....I was out at 50 point yesterday and alot of lakers and 1 shaker coho......Thanks for your content.....I have taken alot of your advice and have improved my game bigtime.....I got two 15 pound titans and the chamberlain release clips that you advised to get and all I can say is WOW.......Thanks alot for all of the fantastic information and tips.....Best fishing channel on you tube
Thabks man appreciate it! Once those chamberlain clips are dialed in they are amazing! Those Titan cannonballs also run very Tru! I was using all regular sized spoons right now. I don't run magnum spoons until June or later. I was fishing as shallow as 23 fow and deepest was 90 fow. This was a couple weeks ago though. If I were you I would be concentrating deeper around 90-140 fow. I would also be moving towards Toronto Islands. Right now way to many lake trout in shallow.

It was amazing. Another couple months and the fish will all be a lot bigger. Hopefully some GOSD board fish. UT for now, seeing those guys hammer those fish and Jay get the biggest fish of his life priceless!! 😊

This was about 2 weeks ago. Beggining of May.
Fished the King of the Lake - lost a fish that would have put us in the money on a TNT spoon, same exact issue fish hit made couple runs, comes unbuttoned reel it in hook and o ring are gone ….
That is why I brought it up to the company. Lots of people have messaged me, stating the same thing happened to them. Sad thing is when trying to talk to the company about it, they didn't really want to listen. 😢

It's all timing. They push shallow but only for a week or two. You did the right thing moving deeper. They are spreading out now. Just have to find those warm water pockets. You find that you will do well. I went the other day and we only got 9. Lots of fish around 80-140 fow and suspended around 70-90 feet down.
Those 2 guys are going to need physical therapy on their arms and shoulders
One of the spro swivels I used to use had split rings instead of welded. Lost a ton of fish until I realized what was happening after reeling in nothing but the open ring. No room for garbage equipment on the big water so I tossed several packs of them strait in the garbage.
