Would your 502 finishing polish work on micro scratches/marring on the wood interior trim of my Audi? Or would it be too aggressive for that use? Thanks, Tom Flynn
Maybe I worded that incorrectly, what I meant to say was can I just use 505 correction glaze instead of this product since it has the Montana wax as well?
Hi Donald, just tried the 502 with the spider pad and the initial result was great and since I don't have Prep All I used Gryons cleaner. I thought it has the same IPA as Prep All but I got a rubbery milky coat the looks as if I had burned the clear coat. I could not remove it with the micro fibre towel. Later I got most of it off rubbing with my thumb on it, nasty. I also tried the 3M cleaner with the same nasty residue. What do I do wrong? Is it the cold temps here in my garage, had around 34 degrees but could not find a temp limit on the bottle. Or are there product incompatibilities? What is in Prep All? Thanks Bernhard
3D Products The cleaner was called Gyeon Q2M Prep. It is used to remove all wax and residues before applying any coating. One more thing, it was inside my garage but just slightly above freezing temps. Bernhard
501/502/503/K58SBK Spider pad great demo videos. The next size pad up from there goes on a small floor buffer. Looks like this setup makes fast CLEAN work as well. Does this come as a kit for a standard rotary polisher?
We currently do not have this product in a kit. What is 503? All of the products in the video - except the flex polisher - are available on our website at 3dproducts.com
Please, I did not understand the name of the last product. I have tried on your website by the name of prep-all, you say that this product does not exist. You could give me this information so I can buy it. thank you
I recently got some Hd Cut and Hd Polish. What's the difference between your two product lines? Is this the more premium product ? The Hd Cut and Hd Polish also state no fillers or wax along with diminishing abrasives. What am I missing? Thanks!!!
William hd cut and hd polish abrasives dimishes so the lomger you work it it will loose cutting. The 501 and 502 abrasive wont domishes so you are always cutting and the working tome of the product is less.
The AAT 501 and 502 are higher grade than HD Cut and Polish. The AAT products will be faster overall. However HD Cut leaves a very good finish for a correcting step
Depends on how bad the paintwork is and whether it will correct easily. You may be okay with the 502 then finish with the 505 or just a sealant. Or it might need a bit more cut with the 501 then finish with 502 or 505.
@@3DCarCare I think the shine. And gloss looks better with 205 but that's just my personal preference, someone else might think differently. Don't get me wrong 502 is a great product I used it to polish my car and ill say it is definitely in my top 5 finishing polishes.
I feel this is a great product used and I use nothing else
Wow!!! Thanks for another great video
Luscious finish there!
Definitely going to try this out.
You guys did this video in Santa Clarita?
You know you can manage a rotary when you achieve a finish like that on black paint.
Thank you.
What flex rotary model are you using there in the video? It looks to be a very good product!
Can I use the 501 followed by 502 even if I didn’t sand it ?
Yes, that would not be a problem to do that
Can i skip the 501 process and go straight to the 502 if i have a car leess than 12 months old?
If the HD lineup is for detailers, and AAT for bodyshops, what yields better results?
Great products

It should work great. 502 is their least aggressive polish.
Is this a needed step after using the 505 correction glaze or can I just use that instead of this?
505 is the final step. after the 502 you would need a wax.
Maybe I worded that incorrectly, what I meant to say was can I just use 505 correction glaze instead of this product since it has the Montana wax as well?
yes, you can use 505 as a finishing polish after the 501 instead of 502 on most finishes. If it is a harder finish, it might be better to use the 502.
yes, that is accurate.

It is prep-all by kleen strip. It is a wax a grease remover. A little late haha.

👍👍👍
I can still see scratches in there?
Thanks for watching our videos
How much would you charge for a job like this?
For paint correction on an average sedan, you could expect to charge/pay between $250 to $500 depending on the surface damage.
@@3DCarCare how do you determine if it needs a paint correction or wax
If you can see scratches in the paint, like spider webs, you can correct it. You are always safe applying a wax to the finish.
i work outside
The 3D Speed works well outdoors. It is always best to do this work in shade if it is available.
good polish, but not the best. Need many passes for it to work
show us something better.
I think you shut him up pretty good ..six months no response
I hate comments like his ..so empty
