Hello Brian, I have a 2016 deep ocean Blue Silverado that I bought used in 2019. I noticed after purchase, the paint on the drivers side front/back doors looked dull. After taking it in to my dealership for service, I found out the truck had been re-sprayed! After watching some of your awesome videos on wet sanding and correcting, I decided to bite the bullet and tackle the paint. I wet sanded with 2000, then 3000, used 3D one and a orange pad from lake country. After sanding the front door, my wife said I was crazy, I really thought so too! But, after buffing it out, all I can say is it came out amazing! I just wanted to thank you very much for making these videos, it really pushed me to jump in and go for it!
Great video, Brian. I've used 3D One Step and achieved excellent results. It's nice to know that you guys use this product too. I'm reassured that I'm doing the right thing.
My favorite overall one step is 3-D 1 for its versatility, however looking at the koch chemie products they are extremely impressive. I see the shop manager at 11:10 approves. Great video Brian, looking forward to the others series
I want to pick up some 3D one from Carzilla. Decent for light swirl removal/ paint enhancements? How about dusting and sling? I use Gliptone precision cut nano ceramic for 1 steps but I’m not happy with the dusting
@@TheCarDetailingChannel Not sure if you ever tried it yet but 3d One is super low dusting, if any. Cost effective and you don't need much after the first pass of polish. But contains some fillers so if ceramic coating a vehicle may not be the best choice, I'd go with F6
Thanks B! I've been looking at the DeWalt cordless. But seeing it in use.. man that thing is enormous!! Pictures don't show that scale. Close to the size and weight of the old school big rotaries! 😕 Would love a review!
@@corrybowers5078 Right on! I have the v1 and v2 of the SPTA cordless. v2 is a *huge* improvement. Either going to try the XCE or the DeWalt next. Do you do full corrections with it? Is 2 batteries and one charger enough?
@@jdisdetermined yes it's all I use for a 5" DA. As for 2 batteries being enough...it all depends on how much work is required. I have a lot of batteries as well as a fast charger. That being said normally just two batteries cycled works for me.
Thank you for your video. Now I’m using the turtle’s hybrid wax&ceramic, the result is excellent removed swirls and micro scratches easily and makes the paint surface real shine. I hope you could make a video about all the turtle’s hybrid products how they work. Cheer
I think they all did great I used most of these products and as Brian highlighted that it depends on the situation type of clear manufacturer standards weather and so on As usual outstanding job Brian 👌🏼
Brian your vids are so informative. 🥇🏆 Big THANKS you for your time and effort. Now on the topic: By far my favourite 1 step product is 3D ONE (thanks to you ... of course LoL). Never tried the Koch Chemie F6.01 but I’m always listening what you have to share with us, so I’m considering the option to buy it and test it.
As a Brit, I came in to this one expecting the Koch Chemie to be the best and I believe that's what I'm seeing, although it's close with TLC. When it comes to gloss I am expecting the Koch Chemie to be the winner, I'm about to go over and watch that. I use Koch and Scholl S20 Black as my go to options and I find then really comparable.
I believe the TLC and Koch Chemi are virtually tied for removal and clarity. I will have to watch on my 4k TV to verify. I have used TLC and used it with those 50/50 microfiber pads. I had very hard Ceramic clear coat on my car and the combination finished down very well. I Car Pro Clear cut first then TLC with 50/50 pads. Car shined like no tomorrow. But I am VERY impressed with Koch Chemi.
Nice work, i have a question can you advice what is the best iPA 99% dilution to be safe on the paint to use it as a cleaner between polishing steps not harming surface because im confused 50/50 with water or 30 , 20 ... procet alcohol with water? Many thanks
I also hate the dust! 😆 The most I can tolerate is whatever Megs M110 might throw out. I was pretty hot and heavy with the 3D last year, but I've let myself reach for the Jescar line more and more. I find that I can usually get where I need with their Medium Polish without having to finish down. I've also been experimenting with the Optimum line. Pretty unique. I've done one complete vehicle with Intensive Polish, which did a killer job cutting out defects, and leaving a glossy finish. There have been other times where I got a lot of marring from it, but Hyper Polish was the better choice in that situation. I'm getting rid of all my Rupes, Menzerna, and some 3D stuff. Time to make space for the sake of space.
Why not just tell us which one is the top three are the best why do I wanna watch you messing around with eight or 10 one stabs you’re the expert go through the top three or four and we trust you and tell us which ones the best
I believe 3d speed is a great all in one with a really good wax in it, but it is different from the one step polishes here. 3d speed leaves a wax on the paint 3d one and the other's in this vid leave no protection, so you hsve to apply a layer of protection after the one step polish.
Not Fair! You used F6-01 from Koch Chemie, It is a "only cut" compound, not a one step product! Koch Chemie P6-01 is the one step product, the one that also contains enhancing gloss finishing ingredients.
Fix the volumes PLZ! Intro's fine then volume gain falls off a cliff only to have the ear drums pierced when the ads fire off. Uggh, love ur content, but a deal breaker's a deal breaker.
Can you please recommend a good panel cleaner? I am too nervous to use the IPA at home mixture , due to the possibility of softening up the clear coat.. Don't know if that's true. ahah..
Gyeon prep is what brain seems to use alot, I also use it. The other option would be to use N-914 @8:1 which is what I've used on vary soft clears before coating.
Brian said he's out of it and it's a little difficult for him to get, that's why it wasn't in this comparison. He'll probably include it in his next video.
What is YOUR favorite One Step?
Big Fan of 3D One. I have the TW but haven't had much time behind it yet.
Sonax EX 04 06 with a medium orbital
Our fav one step is Angelwax Regenerate- we hope you’ll include it the next comparison of one steps
Brian, have used the Oberks polishes?
Saitlab PASL 20 VR.
3d all day, best product, great cut, easy wipe off, no dust, and long working time

I really like the KC F6-01. Just did a white focus with it. Did a great job. I have 3 of those 5 and like them all!
I just did my c7 corvette using 3D One & Uro-Fiber 50/50 pads. It had light swirls & a couple light scratches. It came out near perfect.
How was the shine doing only one step?
Thanks Brian, I used Flawless Cut yesterday, but yes, 3D One has more horsepower to it and I will be using that more. 👍🏼👍🏼

One steps can do great jobs. I love one steps and I always go over the same place 2 or 3 times. Normally I use a microfibre pad.
Nice to see the shop manager make an appearance to check in on the work ;)
Great video B, thanks!! You got to review the cordless DeWalt polisher for us B, thanks!!
That Koch Chemie is no joke.. TLC would be the runner up, I’d say. Great video
Great video! Can you do an updated version with new top all in one polishes?? Like 3d Speed and others?
3D one is my go to
Does it wipe down easy?
3D1 is my favorite
Interesting video, looking forward to seeing the next one 👍✌️☮️

From my eyeballs, KC edged out TLC
Hey Brian, in my opinion the Koch Chemie dida much better job on the panel. Great videos, i enjoy them All !Thanks
Great vid B. For me it’s almost head to head between TLC and KC. A little bit more gloss with TLC and more cut with KC.
Koch Chemie F6.01 👌🏼 Would love to see Rupes DA Fine included in your next round of top 5 One steps.

3D 1 by far. Just purchased "CSI Ceramic X to try. Any thoughts on this?
Awesome video and product review good friend. Wow videos like the original s when ur channel started.suprised no 1 and done.b well good friend

Sonax 0505 on a buff and shine uro finisher mf pad is my favorite go to. It’s worked on pretty much every paint, minus gm black of course lol
Can I used Koch chemie and 3 d one
Would you compound isolated scratches 1st & then go into a 1 step on the rest of the vehicle? Or 1 step then attack the scratches?
Is one and done better than 3d one?

KC micro imo.never tried yet but planning on it.
I thought the 59/50 microfiber was an aggressive pad. What pad do you use that is what you consider aggressive? Thanks
Woolpads, Microfiber cut, and foam cut padsa are much more aggressive.
3D Speed.
Can you do a video showing a DA with a Wool pad. Thanks Brian
