- How can engine flush harm your engine? Will flushing the engine damage it? Best engine flush for motorcycles, scooters and car? How to remove carbon deposits from engine? Best flush to remove sludge from inside the engine? Engine flush good or bad for your engine?
In this video we discuss about contents, working and possible problems with engine flush. Even reputable brands like Liqui moly, 3M, Wurth, Hans lube have Engine flush in their product portfolio and claim flushing the engine with engine flush helps keeping the engine clean by removing the carbon and sludge deposits. Excess of carbon and sludge formation inside the engine can block oil passages, seize piston rings, reduce fuel efficiency and performance of the engine.

Aparat from a very technical video, Why do I find those pouring of oil and flush so satisfying :p
Old school used to use kerosene to flush an engine, but you better know how to do it the right way. Done right it can also tell you if the rings leak.
I have a first generation honda activa which has been through an accident and front headlight portion is damaged and the scooter has been sitting in an corner for almost 2 years and I don't have the money to restore it now but I will do it in the future and my question is will the engine be safe.
Great video, no commercialism needed.
Thanks 😊
Sir what are your opinion on apache 2004v reguarding mileage reliability and built quality

Which flush oil recommended for activa 125 BS3

Good info brother
Nice straightforward video....

Excellent Video. My dad's splendor has always been used on mineral oil and last year during Diwali holidays I've changed it to semi synthetic. The oil is surely due for a change now though the bike has only covered 100kms after the oil change. I've decided to go with Shell Advance Ultra and the deposits in the engine should be reduced by this. I do still fear using Engine Flush on his bike as I'm still a student and if anything goes wrong, I might get abandoned 😂
It is good to flush
Engine after 25000 km
You need not need to flush
It like normal issues such as
Engine oil drain
I recommend continue with the mineral oil and don’t flush and don’t go for semi synthetic oil
@@MrKhabbu Mineral oil is useless won't gie any proper lubiraction and protection atleast today's bike and even old bike should only be filled with Semi synthetic oil if not Fully synthetic oil. Mineral oil does not serve a good purpose mineral oil needs time to time change compared to semi synthetic oil.
To be honest, as each day passes, new things would keep coming on due to the present state of faster development which is truly a threat to the minds of human beings.
Our mind would get loaded with unwanted pile of confusions due to overloading of new things that would keep on hitting our minds.
Stay calm.....
Before the invention of the fully synthetic engine oils, Mineral oil was the best one and remember those days we had only 2-Stroke engine vehicles (2 Wheelers) which were more sophisticated than the present 4-stroke useless junk engines (bulk production like use & throw stuff).
Mineral oil would still serve the purpose at its best if gone with a reputed quality brand, whereas the engine flush is absolutely Marketing gimmicks.
It's very wrong to disturb the internal engine parts and flushing the engine would definitely damage the internal sensitive parts which were nicely set.
This may result in the damage of internal sealings which have been nicely set.
This may unnecessarily damage your engine's internal sealings.
So don't care too much about these marketing gimmicks and live normal like our previous generations did.
Slow and steady living would keep us healthy.
Already human minds have been altered a lot since those days with 2G and today's dangerous 4G.

Bro do a video on engine flush from Addinol as it does not damage the engine and has no ceramic content. It is based on mineral oil with detergent contents.

Is it okay to do engine flush in a centrifugal oil filter engines like pulsar 150?
Hi bro i have a ninja 400 & i do engine oil change once a year as my run is only 2-2.5k kms per year its my bikes 6th year now & i wish to use engine flush so my question is should i use it & then please suggest fully synthetic liqui moly engine oil also, thanks
Which is the best and fully synthetic oil for bullet.

I have to a new Suzuki Burgman. For the first service I used Mineral based Engine oil provided by Suzuki, During the second service, I insisted them to replace the old Mineral based Engine oil with Semi Synthetic 10W30 Engine oil, and resulted in a smooth run. Fully synthetic Engine oil of 10w30 is not available in the market, except for one from Motul is there of 5w40. I was wondering it I can use it for the Burgman as I ride it nearly 45 to 50 km everyday nearly.
I do break in my new engine with mineral liqui moly 1.6k odo..3times changed engine oil ..now i will use synthetic ..should i use full synthetic or semi synthetic and can i do engine flush??
Bro in vespa sxl 150,scooter,in brochure book engine oil description is 5w 40,but service center using 20 40 oil ,why is that?
Is 5w40 fully synthetic oil user need to use engine flush? To change new oil.
My yamaha Mt-15 has clocked 9000kms, till now i was using the service center recommended "Yamahalube sporty premium" ,which never lived up to my expectations, initially 1000 kms will be smooth and no pickup or mileage improvements ,that any new oil of other brand would do the same, I'm planning to change engine oil to "Castrol power 1 ultimate", Also want to add bike has no issues as per now , Just a oil brand change for better lubrication and performance ,and enhancing engine life. Would you recommend me to flush engine before i get new one poured . Little more information i want to address that the service center guys used to add "wurth engine oil additive" that said to clean engine.. Don't know whether it is meant for... Recommendations on engine flush please 🙏🏼🙏🏼
If someone does oil change in time then he never needs to flush the engine to clean it.
Thats not truth. The factory recommended oil change intervals did not factor in the current climate change with hot temperature rising and low air quality. And turbo charge engine. There is sludge built up overtime. And especially on the piston rings and turbo oil feed. Where is micro passage way for oil to flow. And the temperature at turbo charger is cooking/ baking the engine oil inside the tiny oil feed. And overtime, it will thicken and jam the passage.
Therefore, regular or yearly cleaning would help reduce these built up. The clean engine oil + engine flush is require to have a thorough cleaning.
@@kykenzo9115Well I think you are from Tata Motors 😂 Well no no no….I have 3.8 lakhs km in odometer of my wagon R in 14 years and I never flushed once in life…The engine is better then new because I change my engine oil at 7000 kms and I never used synthetic oil but only ,mineral 5w 30 !! Just sold my car last week in 1 lakh due to 15 year rule in Delhi.

How long we can postpone the oil change interval,in a non useing engine?
Rajesh chinna don’t don’t don’t change your oil and filter every 5000 to 5500 km period . I don’t follow the idiot indicator saying change oil or manufacture recommendations . My daily driver has 408678 km runs sounds like new ,I change oil every 5000 km . And transmission yearly as well as power steering and brake fluid
my motorcycle usage is very low only 200-300km per month , I am using motul 7100 so when should I change my engine oil as per KM covered or once in a year???
Hi Subish,
As the running is on lower side, extending the drain interval to once a year should be fine.
Please suggest best engine oil for my fiat avventura(diesel) whos recommended grade is 5w40.
Fiat OEM oil is PETRONAS selenia wr 5w40 and drain interval is 15k.
Please suggest me something similar who's drain interval is 15k .
Castrol Edge Extended Performance Fully Synthetic 5W-30, drain interval is 15 Miles (24 K) or a year of normal use
Which engine oil is best for Yamaha RX 135?
As of now I am using Yamalube 2 stroke engine oil(Prescribed by Yamaha).
That's better choice to need to swap here &there
Company recommends the best
Just see the oil grade & try to find fully synthetic in same grade rest stay on same

Bro meri apache 160 4v bs6 4th service se thik pahle bike pura engine oil kha gayi, help me about this bro
i have my e34 which is a very old car, it lost some of its power, and i had to keep it in a garage for years since i had to travel for education and work, the oil will turn black several minutes when putting new oil in so i think it is time for an engine flush
No problem. For how long the car remains parked at a time without use . Don’t go by color but by the viscosity or stickiness of the oil .
Use my Turbofield Nano Treatment and you don’t need to flush or worry any more
Better make a video on how to maintain the bike during this lockdown as little or no running is possible.
Hi Gaurav!
How about this: ua-cam.com/video/hTabtNNApWU/v-deo.html
I'm currently using motul 7100 and planning to try liqui moly this time and I'm considering engine flush. Should I or should I not? If I shouldn't, can u state why not?
u can use
I use motul 7100 fully synthetic 20w50 oil in my pulsar 220f bs6 model , can you please tell me what could be perfect oil drain interval in terms of kilometres?
4000-4500km
Take a small sample of the flushing oil after running the engine, then add the flush product and repeat the engine run and drain. This way you are comparing the flushing oil with the flushing agent. They are often the same when you have a clean engine. If not, then you are truly flushing gunk from a really dirty engine. A car you have maintained properly will get little benefit from the engine flush.
So are we cleaning gunk and varnish or just flushing the old dirty oil?
Too many people put in a flushing agent and say "Wow, look how dirty the oil is, this stuff really works." Is the oil flushing residual dirty oil and sediments, or is the flushing agent truly cleaning varnish and gunk?
Kind of important to know which is of the two options is happening. When the flush oil sample alone is the same as the flush agent oil sample, you'll know your car’s engine is clean and regular oil changes with modern oils will require no more flushing agents. If the oil gets markedly dirtier with the addition of the flush agent, you’ll know you need to keep cleaning out the engine build up. Normally, this won’t be the case.
Use either a quick step agent like Moly or a 1000 mile clean like Auto-RX or Marvels, but please don’t risk engine or seal damage with kerosene or diesel. One advantage of the “slow burn” cleaners is that you are allowing the fresh oil to clean over time vs. wasting oil with quick clean multiple flushes that might be completely unnecessary and expensive.
Once you have “cleaned” your engine, regular oil changes will likely be enough and no more flushes should be required. However, if you are OCD like me, do an engine flush when you change your transmission/differential fluid/oil, every 30k/60k miles, or use the slow burn additive every other oil change
