    I like how you clearly print out the names so we can read them.

    At least you get more than two inch plants ! I have been nursing a Bella for over a year
    She wasn't well rooted when she came and after a year still is not healthy

    That’s a very extensive and special collection, I wish the ones that will make you happiest will thrive
    I focus only on the fragrance since I cannot have a collection but I notice the exceptional leaves in some of your package

    The clemensiorium (spelling?) look amazing! Such giant leaves 🤩🤩 thanks for sharing!

      Hey man. Nice to hear from you and thanks. I subscribed to your channel actually. You have some good Hoyas as well. Clemensiorum (I always mispronounce it as if there’s an i right before the U). For some odd reason I have a pretty easy time growing so many cultivars of that and some more difficult ones and yet the easy ones give me problems lol.

    I have just subscribed so greetings from Poland! I think Imperialis should root very well... All the cuttings, all the plants are such generous size!! Enjoy growing them. Looking forward to updates. Irena

    Thanks to share with us your experience. Your Clemensorium splash and aff. lambii look very nice. I think some of them don’t travel very well, maybe because they are more sensitive and have thinner leaves.

    • @FancyPlants
      @FancyPlants  2 роки тому +1

      You’re very welcome. I totally agree, the ones with the thicker leaves are doing so well but the thinner leaves have a harder time rooting and they dry out so fast!

    Just a little suggestion take-it-or-leave-it those woody hoyas that come from Indonesia I'm assuming that's where you ordered from that's where I get all mine from I pretty much cut most of the roots off they don't really travel well and I cut them into one leaf cuttings and put them into either water I and then on a heating mat and some into in leca then into self-watering pots every single one that I got rooted.

    Okay I have a comment I have killed a few hoya mitrata and find it difficult. Just to give you reference I have over 300 hoyas. If any of her roots are dead cut them off and reroot. I have only had luck in moss but I think pon with be a good choice but I believe she will be best keep warm.

      I need to get another. This one died too. I’m sorry you’re having trouble too but it does give me some solace!!

    mitrata does not like drying, it should always be in slightly moist soil

    • @FancyPlants
      @FancyPlants  2 роки тому

      Thanks for watching! The first time I had one I tried drier but the second time it was always slightly moist. I’m not sure what I did wrong

    I’m new to Hoya but I’m a long time fish breeder (betta splendens, betta imbellis) and when I had fish imported from Asian they’d always use 2” thick styrofoam insulation. That’s a long journey for a fish! What kind of insulation are they using, if any?

    • @FancyPlants
      @FancyPlants  2 роки тому +1

      Great question... In most of the packaging, it was just newspaper, and plastic bags over some of them. Most had newspaper gently and cautiously placed over every leaf... maybe that helped. Awesome about the betta!
