Same here. But what is the biggest danger? Definitely the people from the office when they walk through the factory hall! They're unpredictable... like small children.
These kind of short films are called "Unfallverhütungsfilme" (accident prevention movies) and are quite often shown in training. There are more, simlar ones. "Friseuse Claudia" (about a hair dresser) and "Elektriker Horst" (about an electrician) are two more famous ones. Both can be found on UA-cam, but you have to find versions with English subtitles.
"Staplerfahrer Klaus" is a real classic in Germany. It was made in 2000, some years before UA-cam. It was meant as a parody of 1970s and 1980 boring educational films. The funny thing is that it is used as a educational film now. But it's far away from being boring.
The remarkable thing is... it (the video) works! As a forklift driver, I take load securing very seriously. When I'm transporting sharp-edged metal parts, I always see people bleeding to death in my mind's eye^^
Forklift Driver Klaus begins as any "real" safety video of the 90s, not just due to the familiar voice of the speaker. For the *real* experience one would have to watch half a dozen (boring) German safety videos beforehand.

Correct. This voice belongs to Egon Hoegen, (*28th Sept. 1928 - 1th June 2018). Egon Hoegen was a stage actor trained by Gustaf Gründgens. He became known primarily through his presentation of the "Internationaler Frühshoppen, (International Morning Pint)", and as the speaker of "Ausgerechnet Fakten (Just Facts)" and "Der 7. Sinn" (The 7th sense) on German television. He also provided the voice-over in Forklift Driver Klaus, with his serious, sonorous voice helping to give the whole film an even more satirical character.
The voiceover is by Egon Hoegen, who was famous in Germany for being the voice of short traffic safety movies shown on public television from the early 70s until early 2000s. These were called "Der 7. Sinn" (The Seventh Sense) and were notorious (and also popular) for their sometimes quite drastic car stunts and staged crashes depicted there. There are clips of it on here, look it up! 😀
They used real blood for the recordings because the budget didn't allow for fake blood. The actor recently said that they had an iron taste from the blood on their tongues for days.
@@eisikater1584 Yes, they used pig blood. Thgey had a pump to keep all the blood in movement to prevent clotting. And at some point "it exploded". MassengeschmackTV made an interview with the actor.
It is supposed to be funny. It is a short splatter movie. It is not an official movie for training, it was never supposed to be. It is a reference to old training movies, with some over the top gore added. Someone told that the movie was shown as pre-mpvie for "Jason X" in some cinemas.
german workplace security :D In the company where I learned there was a lock of hair hanging on the wall to prove that a lathe could scalp you but this clip here is a parody of these security videos. when i remember it correct monty pyton had a similar bloody sketch ua-cam.com/video/LMEKcIHvc5o/v-deo.html

True!!
The voice was from a man, known in Germany, for being the voice of Security Movies,

Safety, nicht Security, Leute.
