He’s laughing at how ridiculous it all is. They’re probably getting paid a good chunk of money but he knows it’s just background music for the models. She’s laughing at the absurdity, but his sound, his tenor saxophone sound for all time, comes through as always.
Stan Getz est plus concentré sur les filles que sur la musique mais comme il joue des morceaux qu'il a joué des centaines de fois, il s'en sort sans effort. 😆
I can't stop laughing... the pretentiousness of the fashion world taking itself seriously. Honestly, who would wear this sh*t? Stan had a great time I'm sure.
This is the most ridiculous set ever! Those models are jumping on top of boxes, barely able to take steps; the guy and his entourage look like drugged Roman consul and the dazed attire observing at latest conquest from an exotic land. And the jazz band, obviously exhausted, plays South-American bossa nova while asking themselves are those fashin houses just mad, stupidly rich, or both?
That sax looks so gold
I love how he starts laughing while he's playing the melody at 0:59
He hast good reasons.
thanks for bringing the bossa to the world stan...what a lovely sound...
The tunes in this medley are: Desifinado(Slightly Out Of Tune), No More Blues (Chega De Saudade), and Old Devil Moon.

Who is the pianist?
Stanley Cowell
Stanley Cowell
Why is he laughing?
Playing for a fashion show isn't what he usually did.
I like 2:42!

He’s laughing at those bony specimens wearing odd gear.......and why did the camera constantly focus on the drummers groin.
Give those models something to eat, please
