    I noticed this model as well at the P250 are more simplistic versions of the Sig p series being that they are striker fired now and more serrations added on the slide

    I love my P320's... I own 2 of them... but it's repeatedly mentioned in this video about converting between 9mm and 45... .which is NOT POSSIBLE IN THE P320. I'm not sure why.. since you were able to do it in the P250, but the P320 has a different FCU between the 9/40/357 versions and the 45 versions. Not cross compatible. Bad move on the marketing department.

    The problem is, you are almost charging as much for a conversion kit as I can get a whole new p320 for. About $100 difference last time I checked. That's not a good deal. I'd rather just buy a new pistol at that point.

    • @StygianBlood
      @StygianBlood 8 років тому

      when you consider the fact you're getting a whole new gun minus the trigger mechanism for 400$ directly from sigs store I'd say it's pretty reasonable

      I can get a new P320 on Gunbroker for $505, so about $100 more than a conversion kit. That's awful. Btw, I have both the compact and full size 9mm. Thought I could get a 45 conversion kit down the road, but looks like that's no dice.

      +grinc333 yeah....I was very disappointed to find that one out as well.....I guess it all depends on how you look at it.....I'd rather spend 100 less have it shipped to my house and basically get a whole brand new gun and not have to deal with all the paperwork than spend full price have to piss around with bs paperwork then still wait to get it.....maybe it's just me

    • @XTrooper3936

      Shop around. I recently bought a full-size conversion kit for my P320 compact for $299. That's $200+ cheaper and definitely worth buying. That's a case of 9mm to shoot through it!

    • @Freedom_Bison
      @Freedom_Bison 7 років тому +1

      grinc333 you also have to realize that a lot of people live in places where you can only purchase one firearm. although the exchange kits are spendy, it provides a loophole for people living in those States. They can have several different firearms in several different calibers with only one serial number.

  • @michaelshea5622

    I have the 320 in full size and the compact, both in 45 acp. Screw the conversion kit, I'll spend the extra green and buy the whole gun any day. Besides, it's NOT possible to convert the 9mm to a 45, or the other way around. Then again, why a 9mm anyway?

    As I posted in the other vids, mine went back to Sig because of extractor issues. Came back un-repaired, took it to the range, same issues. I was really hoping this would be my new carry weapon, but right now, cant trust it. Too bad. Shoots really well for me, but for the moment, its just a range gun at the moment, not the defense weapon I needed.

  • @atheris25

    Disappointed... Sig needs to do some house cleaning. Video is misleading. .45 trigger assembly is not interchangeable with other caliber kits...Their website still hasn't been updated. It still doesn't show specs for Carry in the .45ACP. Maybe I'm a little over critical after shooting Sigs for 18+ years.

    So I just got this gun, I have only shot it once but I absolutely loved it. Then I cleaned it and put it back together. After cleaning I pulled the slide back and it locked, but the slide lock lever was not engaged. I messed around with it and this happens about every 4 or 5 times I pull it back. I find it strange that it does that WITHOUT the slide lock lever engaging. Is this a problem??

    At 2:18 the guy says you can buy a 9mm and change it out for a 45 caliber, is that really possible though? I had found info that you'd have to get another FCU that supports only 45 caliber since the other FCU supports only 9mm/.357/.40 calibers

    Bore axis is typically high on sigs how high compared to a glock is the 320?

    • @shaolinwarrior87
      @shaolinwarrior87 8 років тому +1

      +Nathan Frisque Huge difference. I tried out the P320 and I honestly thought this might be the first SIG in my pistol collection full of Glocks. I really wanted to like this pistol, but I wasn't able to because of the bore axis. The trigger feels nice, but one of the biggest reasons why I always hated SIGs is because of the high bore axis on them. The aim doesn't feel natural to me. Even though the bore axis might only be a few MMs higher, its a big difference for me, I shot high everytime because I'm used to shooting where my trigger finger points to when I rest it on the frame of my Glocks.

    • @hardtarget2359
      @hardtarget2359 7 років тому

      shaolinwarrior87 I thought the same thing about the bore axis. Then I shot one and holy shit. I couldnt believe how soft it shoots. I dont know how they did it but its amazing. However it does take some time to get the muscle memory down with where to bring the gun up to your eye. I dont like how cheap the frames feel though. The polymer they use is cheap crap. But at least you can get new frames for it.

    LIE, LIE , LIE.
    You cannot convert between 9mm/40/357 and 45. That is B.S.
    What they should do is offer 40/357/10mm in one pistol since they share a common extractor and can share 10mm magazines to hold 40 or 357 sig. Then 9mm and 45 on their own cause the extractor and magazines are different.
    Are you listening sig?!

    The dig 320 is a game changer for sig because the sig classic design is outdated , overpriced, and has to many parts, and maintenance is not a joy. I carried a P226 9mm for 8 years before switching to Glocks.
    The P320 is like a Glock in a lot of ways, but when I switched to glock the P320 was not in production.thats all.
