Another great video, as always. I can’t wait to visit Laos!! We just signed up for Paysend through your link, but the promo code didn’t work. Could it be an issue with our home country? We’re in Mexico.
With Paddy we can truly see the place and imagine how it really is, both the good and the bad. I have been wondering and hoping that you would visit the neighboring countries around Thailand, & Must say this is definitely worth the wait. As far as watching many utubers nobody does the inside review better than you in my eyes, in particular when talking about the S.E.A hidden corner. This might be down to the fact that I don’t get the rush feeling liked from some of the other clips which seems as if they didn’t have enough time to take the info all in or the video is overloaded with too much information in a short period. For us viewers this can really spoiled the actual sighting potential especially should the place were meant to be in our next destination of plan or not. Great work Paddy and may be you can ride as many Laos’ provinces on your Honda’s dream. 🎉❤& Respect &🎉Thank you.
I know Thailand is the land of smiles but in my own experience I found the people of Laos and Cambodia to be even friendlier than the amazing Thai people. Really miss that whole beautiful area of the world. Happy Travels
for sure in Laos... out of I think all of south east Asia, it was the people of Laos that really tickled me. Even if the language barrier in Laos was really difficult! Really miss Beer Lao!!!!
Laotians and Khmers are great but Thais are generally friendlier than Laotians overall, if you take into account the fact that tribal people in Laos are generally very shy and often suspicious of outsiders whereas in Thailand, both urban and rural folk alike are friendly. That being said, as a Lao and Thai speaker, I find most Lao people to be great but some of the folks up north are a bit weird.
Laos is listed in both National Geographic and Wanderlust for 2023 travel destinations. If the Laotian government can improve the roads then I think Laos will attract even more tourists. Thanks Paddy for sharing your videos.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful part of The world … Very inspirational . Love your enthusiasm for travel off the beaten track ❤❤ Been following you a few years now. Me and mate visited Laos back in 2011 and 2012. Rode rented Honda XR250s. First trip was up north, second down south. Most amazing country with magnificent scenery and countryside. Truly unforgettable.

This has been one of my favorite videos from your channel. Bravo Paddy! Incredible scenery. Paddy, I've never taken the time to comment on YT like this, but I just wanted to share this. I've stumbled upon your channel through your Thailand Itinerary videos (as I'm planning our trip there) and then I watched your series with Zelda and then I found out you did all provinces with Dreamy.. and can I just say I'm hooked!! I will be watching all the Thailand provinces videos and I will obviously follow along in Laos. Can't wait to see all of it. Good luck on your travels. Be safe!
Wow absolutely beautiful ....Those roads and the country side of Laos is truly beautiful. Nothing like getting lost and just meeting locals and going off the beaten track ...I'm loving this series so far....Looking forward to more and more.

I was in Lao about 12 years ago, this vlog reminds me of the beautiful countryside but also the very bad roads back then, been seeing quite a few You Tubbers traveling to Lao now, great it’s starting to get the attention the country deserves! 😊. Looking forward to going to Lao in a few weeks time and thankfully I’ll be travelling with my Thai girlfriend, she says the language is very similar to Thai!
It is. Lao and Isarn Lao are 99% the same. Thai and Lao share 70% vocabulary with the remaining 30% ranging from similar to different but both languages are mutually intelligible meaning a Lao speaker speaking in Lao and a Thai speaker speaking Thai can generally understand each other alright.
Utterly stunning views, a side trip here has moved right to the top of the list when I'm back in Thailand, the colours were immense. However, the guy on a bike with his "palm tree" on the ferry is the funniest thing I have seen in 2022, worthy of a thumbnail surely? 😁

Lovely video, Paddy. So beautiful to watch. You are so resourceful in the way you deal with those very challenging moments and situations. This is going to be a great series. Keep going! :)
The loud music is the one thing even in Thailand that makes me feel like I'm in a developing country. Blasting music as a level that will 100% for sure make them deaf and everyone around them annoyed is the most local, macho and ignorant thing I experience here. They had a concert here in Khon Kaen that went until 3am shaking my windows. Monday night.
You echoed my thoughts of Laos here, when ever I went off the beaten track like this, they looked so freaked out to see me, and also so happy with their lives. Didn’t have Google maps when I done it though! Had to read a hand drawn map by the man who hired us our vehicle. Ended up in some strange places, one of them an illegal logging track, and one the entrance to that ‘secret’ CIA base! (You need to go there!/Find it) but it was the best experience ever.. you’re also bringing up the age old pronunciation argument Laos with an a S or just Laos that rhymes with ow 🤷♂️
Aww, 😍you are finally in Laos, and you find the most beautiful places - but the first one was only in the morning gorgeous, beautiful scenery with the monks and of course with the magical mist and your drone flight. It is stunning, the second room by the lake is classy but so inexpensive. Wow the lakeview is insane ! Thank you Paddy D. i wait for more adventures in Laos👍
Laos has a small, but growing expats community from all over the world. Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng are paradise small towns for expats. They got mountains, rivers, and cooler weather. China is next door. Many of these people do business with China.
Hey Paddy, Wow, Laos is so beautiful, happy you got there lost Lol, you have more encounters with people and thats adventure ! Great drone flight, wow ! Chears with a Lao beer, its tasty, as i can remember. Safe travel with Zelda ! ✌❣
Happy exploration time, and Zelda is PERFECT for these roads! That morning shot with the fog and mountain was breathtaking. Don’t think I’d handle the loudass music very well-perhaps if it was pleasant…lol the river looked refreshing. Noted:you’re awoken early there, have a donation for the monks. Looking good Paddy-progress is happening-run or walks working. Happy trails, stay safer!🙏🏻❤️
Hello Paddy, can do a video about your luggage? Like how much of everything you take with you, for how long you pack until you need to wash, and so on.
Hiya Paddy, hectic roads, how were your arse cheeks. LOL, Made up for it with the fantastic views. Definitely. Epic drone footage. Great sponsor and deal for first-time users. They weren't potholes. Craters. Bloody hell. Lol. The mountains are spectacular. Cool, you have the drone to find your destination. When you jumped in, haha, brilliant. 21.00. Wow. Gave me goosebumps. Perfect music. Beautiful start to your morning. Beautiful road trip. Gorgeous place to stay. So cheap it is insane. You do find beautiful places. That was very graceful getting in the kayak. Made for two gives you a good workout. Loved this. Epic video. Perfect ending. Loved it was longer. Excited for more. Have a wonderful week.
We really enjoy your videos! You film mostly what we like to see and you do it really professionally. Subscribed for more and looking forward to travelling to those parts of the world at the beginning of next year.
Just wow Paddy, back in the groove with some amazing drone shoots, what a beautiful journey this is, incredible scenery. You are a very lucky man, but I appreciate your hard work too, with you all the way mate, take care 🙏🏻🙏🏻😉
The resort on this lake is comparable to a resort on the Chiew Larn lake at Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. But a bungalow there cost you about 430 USD (15'000 Bath) for one night !
Great video! I rode the back roads of Laos on two occasions. Really stunning and adventurous. I think that lake is part of the hydro system, and the electricity it produces is the largest single export from Laos. I think it would come in second if they started to globally export beer Lao. 😀

Your job is literally vibing in beautiful countries, couldn’t be more jealous. Congrats mate loving the content
wow, this is amazingly beautiful! loved the offerings to the monks in the morning... such great vibes
Paddy understand that being a good narrator and carefully choosing the music makes for 80% of the vlog experience
Hello, I just saw this clip. Let's have fun together. I like Laos 👍👍❤️
I shat myself with that shark thing ! Dropped my tea down my jeans and lucky it wasn’t hot. Thanks paddy . Great vlog though mate xx
I am Lao , thanks for your vlog, reviewing about the travel in Laos. Really Appreciate, hope you had a a great time.
Did you catch up with "Now in Lao"?
Fabulous video scenery , amazing . Thanks for posting
Stunning scenery, beautiful, I hope you can make it to the awesome ancient capital of Luang Prabang. Great work thank you.
Absolutely beautiful, love Laos I can’t wait to visit again 🙏🙏🙏
Hello Paddy, can do a video about your luggage? Like how much of everything you take with you, for how long you pack until you need to wash, and so on.
Hiya Paddy, hectic roads, how were your arse cheeks. LOL,
Made up for it with the fantastic views. Definitely.
Epic drone footage. Great sponsor and deal for first-time users.
They weren't potholes. Craters. Bloody hell. Lol.
The mountains are spectacular. Cool, you have the drone to find your destination.
When you jumped in, haha, brilliant. 21.00. Wow. Gave me goosebumps. Perfect music.
Beautiful start to your morning. Beautiful road trip. Gorgeous place to stay. So cheap it is insane. You do find beautiful places. That was very graceful getting in the kayak. Made for two gives you a good workout. Loved this. Epic video. Perfect ending. Loved it was longer.
Excited for more. Have a wonderful week.
Ah thanks Nicky, so happy you enjoyed the episode ✌️
Awesome lovi it paddy, spectacular drone shots.
Where did you get a chair in the middle of nowhere to enjoy the paddie field? That to me was the most random uplift spirit in this clip 😄😄❤️
Brilliant video and drone shots Paddy, the start of a great adventure, the bike looks epic 😎👍
Paddy, you can download languages for Google translate (and maps) so you can still use them when there is no WiFi or phone signal.
The resort on this lake is comparable to a resort on the Chiew Larn lake at Khao Sok National Park in Thailand. But a bungalow there cost you about 430 USD (15'000 Bath) for one night !
Best video for a while for me. Superb.
Glad you liked it!
Looking forward to it Paddy, if it's as good as Episode 1, it will be great watching! 👍😁
Great video! I rode the back roads of Laos on two occasions. Really stunning and adventurous. I think that lake is part of the hydro system, and the electricity it produces is the largest single export from Laos. I think it would come in second if they started to globally export beer Lao. 😀
Beer Lao is exported globally. However, it's easiest to find in Thailand, Cambodia, China, Vietnam and the USA.
Loving the vlogs Paddy, You're killing it. Have fun now
Stunning camera work mate. Such incredible footage. Have to put it on the bucket list.
Lucky with the weather, my views in Nakhon Phanom are fabulous to see Laos.
You look great dont worry about your weight, enjoy life!
