Man do I have a lot to talk about. 2024 is shaping up to be my best year for UA-cam. So many videos in the works which is crazy cause this time last year I only had 1 video planned, now I have 6 on the way(I am already preparing things for KH3).
I didn't play KH1 as much as I did KH2 but I now see why many people like this game. I much prefer magic in this game and the enemies aren't too terrible. Just wish the bosses were more fun. Oh, but grinding the Ultima weapon sucks. Aside from that, this game was still fun and I tried toning the memes and putting in more iconic scenes as some people requested and this video is 50+ minutes(Final Ansem fights are legit like 10 minutes).
As always take care and be on the lookout for more Experience and Birth By Sleep sometime later this year. (Now I pray I don't spot an editing mistake 1 week after publishing) ((So I found out I cut a 20 second gag of me sealing the Olympus keyhole with Ultima as a flex, the video isn't even live at the moment.))

Pretty sure Final Mix buffed and debuffed numberous Keyblades, one of which was super buffed was Divine Rose. I forget if Oblivion was ALSO nerfed but yeah, it makes Oblivion one of the worst Keyblades in FM when Divine Rose is right there.
NOW I REMEMBER THAT! Oblivion got nuked in Final Mix.
Oblivion has always had 11 Strength and -1 MP. In the original KH1, the only keyblade that had more strength was Ultima Weapon, with 12 Strength and +2MP. But if you didn’t have that, and you’re not much of a magic user, than Oblivion was the keyblade that packed the most wallop. Same went for Metal Chocobo when you got it.
But for some GODFORSAKEN reason, Divine Rose was buffed from 9 Strength all the way to freaking 13. And of course, Ultima Weapon has to be the strongest, so it got buffed to 14 Strength, but Oblivion was left at 11. Combine that with the magic deficit, and it’s now just completely obsolete.
It makes me irrationally upset. The keyblade balance was perfect in vanilla KH1. Every keyblade had pros and cons as to why you might use it when you first get it. They screwed it all up for no reason in Final Mix.

@@sleepygamermax6782you know seeing you do all these hard playthroughs makes me think you would have a blast playing God Hand( no seriously that game is goofy as hell but the combat in that game is the shit I'm pretty sure you would definitely like that game) and if you were ever to do a video of all the (50+1) challenges I would definitely be surprised.

The craziest thing at the very start of the game, it's the questionnaire - basically, it determines how fast you level up at various stages of the game. Your Adventure Begins At Dawn makes you level up fastest in the early game, At Noon has it stay consistent throughout, and At Dusk your late game leveling is buffed.
The series toys around with EXP systems - best example is Re:Coded, where the Stat Matrix gives you "Cheats" to modify all kinds of parameters - but KH1's remains the most obscure.
I might be wrong but I thought Noon buffs the mid game levels. Either way I’d just go Dusk for a 100% file and Dawn for a one and done file. Pretty sure I picked Dawn and maxed my level out at like 70’s or 80.

Dawn being more powerful early while Dusk being more powerful late

on the ps3, I was originally going for undefeatable on my first playthrough on proud going +wand -shield
I do not have Undefeatable, but I do have Proud Player on the ps3 section.
Glass Cannon Mage is rough. It’s arguably the hardest way to play the game. Good on you for at least finishing the game.

I always find it so odd and kinda sad that they go out of the way to acknowledge Sora has a Mom, and he simply never gives a shit about her, I can’t remember a single time he talks about her during KH1 & 2. And he’s essentially missing from home, she has no clue what’s happening to her son, and the story simply couldn’t care less to consider any of that, despite how prevalent a mother/son relationship would be to the themes of the games

The best strat for Leon & Yuffie is to load up donald and goofy and sora with potions and keep aero+ up constantly. Then target Yuffie first and stick to her while dodging leon, that way you can fight leon without getting pelted by those invisible shurikens. Got the fight done the first try.

I finished this last sunday. I was crazy enough to farm for the Ultima Weapon. I reached level 100 before getting it.

Giant Ursula is legit the hardest boss in the game probably losing to Sephiroth. I considered using damage storage on her.

I quite literally quit because of the flying Ansem fight and went to 2 which I proceeded to drop and came back to the series like a year later and finally made a dent in it swear to god and I played the games in the order intended but wanted to play 3 so bad I quit DDD on the LAST FIGHT! And BBS on Terras ending story, and went to Fragnentary Passage and then 3 granted I knew a decent little bit of KH lore so i wasn't really confused by anything and then? I dropped it a good portion into the game not because it was bad but for literally no reason after Sanfronsokyo and now? I'm playing KH2 AGAIN WHAT THE FUCK!? after all this you really wanna know what I think? Days deserves a remake and it would be my favorite KH game no questions asked
