Small correction on Dream Drop Distance: The trophy "Ability Ace" requires the player to obtain Exp Zero which you can only get when playing on Proud mode. Spirits can be transferred from an easier difficulty save file, so you at least need to start a Proud playthrough (you are not required to beat the game on Proud entirely)
Great vid! I’m currently going for the KH1 plat on ps3 and let out an internal groan when I realised the difficulty trophies didn’t stack and I had to do all the gummi ship missions unlike the ps4 version. They weren’t too bad in the end though! Thanks to the info here I can pick my next KH plat wisely!! :)
You mentioned it but there actually is an RNG manipulation in Re Com to garuntee enemy card drops. Although it's kinda obscure and if it doesn't work you still have to grind so recom is still a pain LOL
Thank you so much for mentioning Re:Mind's difficulty. Although KH3 had an extremely easy Platinum trophy, the Re:Mind trophy for getting Max Pro Code ranking is disgustingly hard compared to the rest of them, took me like 90 hours in and of itself over months. Even doing it on Beginner difficulty, having to do all of the bosses with all Pro Codes on requires so much skill and practice. Doing all the regular bosses with all codes on lets you skip fighting three out of the 14 Data fights, and lets you turn a couple of the harder codes off for a couple other Data fights.
Enemy cards do have RNG manipulation now. A few years ago a genius youtuber posted video guides. That trophy is a breeze now. Also Sora is easy to get to 99 using mega flare on destiny islands. Riku is still the biggest slog to level.

great video! I hate having to replay games, so seeing a plat requiring basically 3 entire playthroughs that all consist of the same grind… lord help me if I ever get into this series 😭
Also fantastic video! Criminal subscriber count considering the quality of your content, here's hoping that changes soon! Recently got the Plat for KH3 and beat Yozora so that's me finished with the series, EXCEPT I've still got the Pro Code run to finish, just hit Toy Box and I'm dreading the Data Fights. A bit of a "pro" tip, :), for the Pro Code trophy, you can use the boost items, (attack, magic, and defense boosts) in order to boost your stats to make those fights a lot easier. So I would recommend stacking these in order to make your life a lot easier. Unfortunately you can't really farm these until a good chunk of the game in, but hey it'll definitely help against a looot of the lategame bosses.
Also, turning off all healing options. But, a few accessories can (sometimes) give you a bit of health back from magic casts. It's not much but paired with defender and once more that's enough

You can actually play through KH3 with 7 to 9 pro codes enabled and as long as you turn all of them on for the late game fights and some Data bosses, you can get the Risk taker trophy just fine. This is especially helped by the fact the game lets you turn off pro codes for a great deal of boss fights, like for example you don’t even really need to turn them on for most of the Organization XIII group fights in Keyblade graveyard and every boss fight in the Remind episode with the exception of Armored Xehanort. No self inflicted torture for trophies needed lol.
Real quick, for 358/2 Days and Re:Coded, you don't have to sit through 3 hours for each one. You can go to the chapter/scene select and it then gives you the option to skip each scene when you pause. Takes about 10 minutes instead of 3 hours.
Great list! I would have put Dream Drop before Re:CoM and then KH2 before that. You didn't mention leveling up all the spirits affinities which i think is the biggest grind in the series, or maybe i was doing it wrong. 😅
I Platinum all Games as well and on god i am so thankfull for the Guy that showed the rng Manipulation on rechain of memories, aswell as everyone making Websites with crafting and Item Drops. All heros
In re:chain you can affect the enemy card you get by making sure the last one you kill is the one with the card your seeking. So make sure you don’t kill an enemy that you have a card for already last cause then you won’t get the one you want.
I'm one of those strugglers who has the KH1 plat on PS3 and the Re:Chain of Memories play on PS3, always great to meet a fellow traveler! 9 playthroughs in all across both games on PS3 for those damn plays 😭 Somehow still not as bad as having to do EVERYTHING as ALL 3 CHARACTERS on Birth by Sleep.
Nice list. I would rank them by difficulty, without considering the grinding. And then rank them again by grinding, without considering difficulty: By Difficulty 9. Melody of Memory 8. Fragmentary Passage 7. Kingdom Hearts III 6. Dream Drop Distance 5. Chain of Memories 4. Birth By Sleep 3. Kingdom Hearts 2. Re:Mind 1. Kingdom Hearts II The hardest I have done in the entire franchise was juggling that fucking Mushroom. By Grinding 9. Fragmentary Passage 8. Melody of Memory 7. Kingdom Hearts II 6. Kh1 3 runs, First One the introduction, second One After all the other game i've done the proud run, and i've done everything, xemnas Sephiroth every Trophy, third run the dont die and dont change the equipment thophies, so much fun on kh1 fr.
I've managed to platinum all of these games on both PS3 and decided to do it again on PS4. (I HATED every moment of Mysterious Figure again as Terra). Only trophy out of all of these games that I don't have is Risk-Taker though. I'm working on that right now. So far, base game is done with all Pro Codes on, except for Dark Inferno. Hopefully a couple more days and I can put this to series' trophies to rest. I love this series.
I’ve played all number titles and currently dream drop. I’ve played these games multiple t Times. So I had more experience going into these platinum runs but BBs will be the death of me😭
With Terra fighting the Mysterious Figure I completed it tonight took an hour you just gotta get used to hitting thunder surge and you take your thumb and press back on the joy stick. Hit a thunder surge dodge backwards square and back on joystick then hit again. Start a flow of that. But I can see how people were upset with that boss fight.
Having just 100% re:com on the steam release, i feel encouraged to do it for the rest of the series. There is a video on youtube somewhere to manipilate the rng for enemy cards but its not guaranteed and may require reloading. I didnt use it myself though so i cant confirm its value firsthand.
I just did them all last year. Before watching the video here is mine terrible to awesome: ReChained 358 Days and ReCoded Melody of Memory Kingdom Hearts DDD Kingdom Hearts BBS Kingdom Hearts 2 Kingdom Hearts 1 Kongdom Hearts 3 (Risk Taker is the most pride I have in any trophy ever. Even though it's DLC and not included in the platinum it was hard and rewarding)
working my way through the series Platinum's, on KH Re Chain of Memories right now. I was dreading the randomness of the enemy cards until I found a UA-cam channel that shows you how to manipulate the game to get every single enemy card, so it reduced the time significantly for me to get that trophy. About to be stuck on leveling up Riku to 99 though :( lol
Did you know RE:Coded on the DS has trophies? I remember those being challenging. I never got the platinum for DDD because the game didn’t click with me. I got the plats for KH1, KH2, KH3, BBS, and CoM on PS4. Right now I’m starting the grind for KH1 on PS3 and wow, 3 playthroughs is wild.
I did all of them, enjoyed kh, enjoyed com (not leveling up riku, that was painful), enjoyed 2, enjoyed bbs (yeah, really, enjoyed it idk jsjjsjsjs), enjoyed 3 but the pro code tropy almost kills me, that is one of the hardest trophies on my collection. And finally enhoyed melody but the one of killing 100000 enemys was annoying af honestly
I know this is a late comment, but my algorithm is recommending a lot of Kingdom Hearts videos right now. I’ve got almost every Kingdom Hearts platinum except Chain of Memories, 0.2, and Remind. I absolutely hate the gameplay of Chain and have tried multiple times but always quit playing. I even tried a proud mode run without dying to speed up the platinum, but barely finished the second world. It’s just a painful experience for me and probably the game I’m most embarrassed not to have the plat on. 0.2 and Remind are mainly problems because I started on proud mode and know I’d need to start over on beginner to get the secret bosses and point multipliers. It’s just a time commitment that I haven’t felt like dealing with yet
I remembwr being so intimidated hearing about how hard KH2's endgame was. Didn't even attempt it until I was around level 90 with Ultima weapon and solid accessories. Ended up beating everyone in the Data Org first try without even engaging with their unique mechanics, just mashed my way through it knowing the basics of how revenge values and reflect work. Lingering Will took maybe a half hours worth of attempts? Ended up replaying through all of them at around level 70 and had a much better time. Struggled and had to actually learn the fights a bit even if I still don't think most of emctook me more than 1-3 tries. It is a hit of a shame you can level past the skill requirements for most of the bosses, but its a game with kids/teens in mind so I can't really fault it that much when the fights are fun regardless.
There may be no complete the game on Proud Mode difficulty, but you do need to at least enter Proud Mode and farm it a bit as there is a trophy for equipping every ability in the game, and you need to be in Proud or Critical Mode, which only unlocks after you complete the game, to get EXP Zero, which is an ability you need to equip for that trophy. So while there is no difficulty trophy, you still need to play the game a short bit in the higher difficulties to obtain EXP Zero. All your Dream Eater abilities are reset on New Game+ so you have to farm up the AP to get all those abilities back.
It's kinda funny - I'm one of Birth By Sleep's biggest fans, I love Command Board, I didn't mind doing the minigames, I like command melding, but even I would never want to Platinum the game purely on Critical again. It's just so much time.
i played KH3 on launch so i had to play it a second time when Crit mode was patched in a few months later. I wasn't going to do another playthrough when Re:mind was released(which already made you replay the final 5 hours anyway) so i did the pro-code grind on data fights. It was very challenging but at least not boring. I also think i would put BBS higher than KH3 Re:mind because BBS is unreasonably grindy and just beating MystFig with Terra alone would be much harder than doing KH3 data fights without getting hit. And much more unfair.
I somewhat cheesed the pro codes by creating stat boost items, which right after launch would negate the level 1 stat code. I think I used every pro code and only needed to play up until I had beaten a few data fights to get max rank. Lord knows I wasn't going to fight Yozora with my hands tied behind my back!
I actually just started my Platinum KH grind. I got KH1 in about 70 hours. I did KH3 before that in around 40. I'm going to be rational and not count Melody Of Memories as a game. I always get 100% on KHII Critical. 2.8 is next on my list.
For BBS, It wasn't that much difficult, Just the grinding 3 times, but TERRA. JUST ONLY HIM... WAS A PAIN IN THE ***. Board command i've appreciated at the end.
I'm surprised you put KH2 so "low", I thought KH1 was much easier to do personally lol but it could be that I was 14 when I did KH2 plat and 20 when I finished the KH1 plat.. But hard agree on BBS and Re:com. I'm on Re:Com rn leveling Riku and it's just.. painfully boring especially in comparison to how easy it is to level Sora in KH1 😭
my greatest gaming achievement in my gaming career is having every plat for every Kingdom Hearts game (PS4 versions)...i never had access to the PS3 versions unfortunately
Just subbed to you! Im surprised by how little subs you have because you have quality content! I look forward to seeing what you come up with down the line! 😀
A lot of people don't know this, yes, you can double platinum KH1, Re:com, KH2 & BBS but you can also double platinum KH3. For some reason the Chinese version has it's own Trophy list. I still can't believe I double BBS 😭 never again 🤣 MoM's platinum can f**k itself. "Shining Platinum" and "Legendary Battler" drove me crazy!!! 😭😭
I'd argue that Re:Com is easily the worst of them all. I've platinum'd every single KH game (apart from 3 Remind but I don't count it) and the idea of mindlessly grinding for as long as Re:Com asks you to is more than enough for me to not wanna bother.
Subscribed! Kingdom hearts is one of my favorite Series is. If not, my favorite Series glad you made this video. I don’t think I’ll be going for the Plats because I’m terrible at games with the hardest difficulty on the hardest, difficulty but very educational video. Can’t wait to see you next platniums! Kingdom hearts 2 is my favorite and an absolute masterpiece hope we hear more on KH4 we got that one trailer now Square Enix is just somebody that we used to know.
I'm surprised BbS is so high on the list. I've been running through the series again and it's so far the most natural to get close to platinum. Maybe the super bosses will be difficult. I might go back to try and get platinum for everything. I've never had trouble playing it on critical mode. Not really an additional challenge for me. Plus I enjoy the command board game
Dream Drop Distance and Birth By Sleep are the only 2 games I just couldn't platinum! Farming and grinding and getting everything completed for Ven, Terra and Aqua was just busy work! I completed Ven's for 90%, Terra was 70% and Aqua was...40% I think. I just couldn't do it any further. I had enough. And those damn Dream Eater's! Piss off with that shit! I didn't even both with that shit in the original 3DS version. And before the game came out, I was already guessing 95% of those damn trophies was going to have something to do with the Dream Eater's! I was right. once again, it was just too much busy work. DON'T GET ME WRONG! In the other titles, like Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 and even that Pro Rank Code bullshit was tough as hell! I worked my ass off for those trophies. But...at least I had some enjoyment from it. From all the games. Especially from Kingdom Hearts 2! That's my favorite game in the series. I still enjoyed Dream Drop Distance and Birth By Sleep. But their platinum trophies can kiss my ass.
I prefer doing BBS plat over Re:CoM. I actually really enjoy BBS so doing everything 3 times isn't great but I still like doing it. But for CoM, I love the story and basic ganeplay, but the trophies are just too much of a grind. The max level trophies alone ruin it for me never mind the card collection (which is easier when you look up rng manip, but it still sucks). I'd rather replay knockoff mariokart for the 3rd time and fight mysterious figure again than spend another 5 hours killing neoshadows as Riku
4:34 This is actually not true, kinda. "Ability Ace" requires all permanent (red, I think?) abilities to be unlocked and equipped, which includes EXP Zero, so you can only get it on Proud and Critical. New Game Plus can be used to minimize the issue, but still, technically it is a difficulty specific trophy.
Also another comment for Xemnas being easier due to having party members. Sure they may not be that helpful, but they let you use limits which ARE helpful.
I agree with the list 90% but I would definitely swap Bbs with kh3 remind the pro code wasn't to bad on beginner I use them all till I got to the 5 figth on remind
I kinda had fun with BBS command board. It was like a fun kingdom hearts version of monopoly with a Mario party aesthetic. Rumble racing though… nup. No thanks. You ain’t no Mario kart!
This would explain why remind is the only thing I haven’t done! COM levelling Riku is the worst part of the entire series. Also don’t you need to do 3D on critical to get one of the commands or am I making that up- so long ago that I did it
Hey guys, so i have a little problem. Im nearly at the plat for bbs but i cant get the Captain Justice Character Log for Terra. I have got him on command board mutiple times but he wont register into my report.... Its the only thing im missing can someone help?
ALSO ALONG WITH KILLING THE ENEMY LAST FOR ENEMY CARD FILL OUT YOUR ROOM CARD INVENTORY. Drop rate for enemy card goes up. It’s either that or you get nothing
Ill have to get back to 3s platinum at some point but the cooking (especially the egg cracking) made me unreasonably angry. I never like having to make fine, indeterminate inputs; Square Enix seems to love those. Ive actually done BBS and yeah Mysterious Figure with Terra is painful because of his shitty dodge.
I just got 3 games but eatch game has like 6 games in it and i started final mix as my first one but the gane is 1.5 2.5 or something on steam and there is 190 achievements 😮
fun fact: if you go over the 100 hour mark it re-counts for the 15 hour trophy for KH1
Can confirm did it 2 days ago

Actually KH2 did have a unique optional gummi boss... It's just SO optional that there's not even a trophy for it.
There is a trophy. Well not for him but you need to defeat him to have all the gummi ship
It should be illegal that a video this fantastic and well done is on such a small channel! You deserve so many more subscribers!

I agree with you it's so annoying to grind for random drops
Its def possible, Ava is also a major subject of their conversation. So KH most likely did want to get our attention and question it. Nice catch!
With 144 platinums and how I love getting them and how I love kingdom hearts, I will only get the trilogy. No way will I go for the com trophies

Before watching the video here is mine terrible to awesome:
ReChained
358 Days and ReCoded
Melody of Memory
Kingdom Hearts DDD
Kingdom Hearts BBS
Kingdom Hearts 2
Kingdom Hearts 1
Kongdom Hearts 3 (Risk Taker is the most pride I have in any trophy ever.
It is a hit of a shame you can level past the skill requirements for most of the bosses, but its a game with kids/teens in mind so I can't really fault it that much when the fights are fun regardless.
am i the only one that absolutely loved the command board??????
Don’t have much to say but algorithm bump
I actually just started my Platinum KH grind. I got KH1 in about 70 hours. I did KH3 before that in around 40. I'm going to be rational and not count Melody Of Memories as a game. I always get 100% on KHII Critical. 2.8 is next on my list.
This guy must be a god at these games 😂
I’ve also platted all of the games (except melody of memory because that sounds awful)
Can’t wait to see what you think!
When you say double platinum, are you talking about the ps3 version?
yes you can manipulate all the enemy cards in chain of memories
MoM is the only plat I have bc I just really like it and it is the only reason I know most of the songs here 😭
Just did the KH1 platinum on ps4 (first time playing this series) and I look at these other games and I think I'm starting to regret this a little
I'd argue that Re:Com is easily the worst of them all. I've platinum'd every single KH game (apart from 3 Remind but I don't count it) and the idea of mindlessly grinding for as long as Re:Com asks you to is more than enough for me to not wanna bother.
Getting all the dreameaters friendship caped took me forever. Doing that stupid Ballon mini game over and over ugh
For those doing the Re:COM platinum there is a whole guide by DERIKUF which has the data manipulation to get the enemy cards. It was a godsend
synthesist and one for the books is a little bit rarer than datascraper
Hello, I have every KH Platinum trophy in a row back to back (minus MoM - i'll start that soon)
I still haven’t beaten Xion, Master Xehanort or Yozora in KH3… Still 😩
Just dropped a sub. Dope ass video my man
The only one I’ve platinumed is BBS and it took FOR FREAKING EVER!!!! I’m trying for KH2 rn but the data battles keep beating the crap out of me
In KH2 you don’t need an S rank on ALL the gummi missions. At least, not on PS4. I’m not sure if it’s the same on PS3
I thought you had to do something on proud of higher in DDD
New Game Plus can be used to minimize the issue, but still, technically it is a difficulty specific trophy.
kh3 is easy to platinum IF you are on console, because on the pc version YOU HAVE to defeat yozora if you want to get the platinum
I tried to get all plats but once i got to bbs i just couldnt 💀
Also another comment for Xemnas being easier due to having party members. Sure they may not be that helpful, but they let you use limits which ARE helpful.
Kingdom hearts bosses were the soulsborne bosses before thesoulsborne
There is rng manipulation for the cards in recom still a pain in the ass though
I agree with the list 90% but I would definitely swap Bbs with kh3 remind the pro code wasn't to bad on beginner I use them all till I got to the 5 figth on remind
question, there arent any trophies for recoded and 358/2 days for the PS4 right?
I kinda had fun with BBS command board. It was like a fun kingdom hearts version of monopoly with a Mario party aesthetic.
Rumble racing though… nup. No thanks. You ain’t no Mario kart!
2.8 has a platinum?
This would explain why remind is the only thing I haven’t done! COM levelling Riku is the worst part of the entire series. Also don’t you need to do 3D on critical to get one of the commands or am I making that up- so long ago that I did it
bruh this was a good video, why the hell are you under 1k subs! criminal!
Let's go the video I suggested happened!!
Hey guys, so i have a little problem. Im nearly at the plat for bbs but i cant get the Captain Justice Character Log for Terra. I have got him on command board mutiple times but he wont register into my report.... Its the only thing im missing can someone help?
BBS has some of the most time consuming and absurd achievements…trueAchievements ratio on these are insanely high
Here before the blowup
I just got 3 games but eatch game has like 6 games in it and i started final mix as my first one but the gane is 1.5 2.5 or something on steam and there is 190 achievements 😮
For me the hardest one would be MoM. Why? Playing on anything else but proud is torture.
