Hi Naima. So glad to hear that you are doing better. I'm new to relieving my LC symptoms with special supplements. I'm almost through my 4th relapse since December 2020. This time around is the most devastating to me, realizing "I don't think I'm going to get better". With each Episode my body gets weaker and weaker. I just remember these two episodes I almost kick it with 2 minute cold showers. I was introduced to NAC from a nutritionist at the GNC store. And plan to add the "Nammo" to my routine. I'm so glad to see people online helping each other. God Speed:)
Thank you naima i bought this for a long time and I tried it too only one box i tried it was helping me with breathing but i stoped it i still have them here at home. Have a great day today dear
Hello again Naima 😊 I am so happy that you are doing consistently better and are keeping a positive mindset. I have been thinking of you recently so thank you for your update. It really is a slippery slope that we are traveling on and so tricky to navigate. One step at a time and staying positive, being kind and understanding to ourselves, putting our needs first are the most important thing to our recovery. Pacing and resting and staying within our limitations, for now, is the only way, and not setting unrealistic expectations of ourselves in our day to day life is crucial to our mental and physical health!! I am realizing now, that I always was in the fight or flight mode and meditation has helped me so much already!! Keep up the great work, keep smiling and congratulations on your milestone, Naima!! ❤❤Wishing you better, stronger health every day forward! Have a great day!!! 😊❤
Thanks for your kind words Kathy 💛. You’re completely right the only thing we can do is take things one day at a time. Hope you’re doing a bit better too- hang in there and wish you all the best x
Hi Naima, so pleased to hear your journey is turning positive and things are getting better. That gives me hope. Thank you for reporting back to us. I’ll be interested to learn more about naltrexone (idn)? Best wishes, Gill
Naima, I have found your videos quite helpful as I sort out for myself how to recover. How are you doing now? It has been a while since you have posted. I hope you are doing okay or even quite well, but it is always worrisome when a bright light like you drops out of view. I send all the best to you.
Hi Naima, I'm finding your channel very helpful and just started my own channel today to share my long covid journey too! These videos are so helpful ! I'm glad to hear you are doing better these days ! Keep up the good work!
New follower here 🙂. Thank you for making informative, honest and encouraging content it is greatly appreciated. I’ve lived with various chronic illnesses for thirty years and now have added Long COVID into the mix 🫤
Well done Naima, you're sounding positive, good to hear. Whereas, other than fatigue, my symptoms differ slightly. I found that the acceptance of no quick fix, it's going to take time, and pacing the most important and helpful. All the best.
Completely agree acceptance though the most difficult thing to navigate has really helped me. I'm glad your fatigue has improved - I hope the other symptoms start to as well very soon. All the best 😊
Just want to add that B complex and b1 is likely important to overall healing, or anything energy intensive. Personally a moderate B complex + small dose zinc mag supp as tolerated is probably a good thing to do as baseline.
I forgot sorry i have also try water fasting 72 hours , i started to first 36 hours after I break up and then continue again 36hours after I break the first again really really helped me. But now am doing 24 hours fasting for 2weeks and after I will stop.
I've had mental symptoms with long covid, anyone else? Last year I literally thought I was going have to go to a mental institution. The mental problems are a lot better now, but still depressed.
I'm sorry you've been struggling mentally. I think mental health issues are a big part of the struggle with Long Covid - either as a side effect or a direct symptom. I'm glad you're doing a bit better now mentally - I've gone through bouts of depression on and off too. Therapy, journaling and trying not to withdraw too much from people around me is what has helped me. I hope things get a bit better for you soon 💛
@@naimaella I have a functional medicine dr. They are willing to let me try some anti-viral herbs. I am thing about it. There is a theory that long covid could be cause by viral persistance.
Great to hear you’re doing well and making steps to recovery, I have no idea how you did all the travel. I noticed you mentioned some activity markers (20min walk/ 6 hours work) before your relapse, are you back to those levels of activity again now?
Thanks yeah it is encouraging. With traveling I found the warmer weather really helped speed things up for me. No I'm not back to that level of activity yet - if things continue hopefully in the next 3 or so months I will be. Hope you're doing well.
Hi Naima,i also got long covid since last year...almost many symptom same with you....after a a year there are some improvement i made ... 1. Hi, I have had LC since March 2020 as well. I expect you have been following Gez Medinger. I have been following others as well but he is the most useful for info on research. I don't know much about LDN but I have had a breakthrough with Nattokinase. Life changing. It took about 2 months to fully kick in but now I can lead an almost normal life. I tried to come off it recently but had a bit of a setback so am back on 4000fu each night. But that is ok as it acceptable to take for 3 years or so based on latest research. It is based on Natto a fermented soy product so i am aware this could be an issue in managing histamine levels which definitely affected me in the first year or so. I went on a low histamine diet and got it under control but i just need to consider histamine levels and mast cell activation. You might think it worth considering? But chech re LDN first. Best wishes.
I'm glad natto has been helping you! Glad to hear you are living close to a normal life. I have heard such good things about nattokinase, lumbrokinase and serrapeptase, but sadly it didn't work for me I had a very strong negative reaction to it so had to stop after about two months. I think there's a lot of trial and error required to find what works for each individual person.
@@naimaella Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. I do hope you find something that works for you. There are so many mechanisms behind Long Covid and everyone is different so I do hope you find what is going on for you and thereby a possible solution. Very best wishes.

Hi Naima - have you looked into histamine intolerance at all ? I have also been stuck in fight flight for 7+ months but after i started taking h1 h2 blockers (antihistamines) I have been better with that system and I’m not having the crazy daily adrenaline surges like I was . Unfortunately another symptom of mine which I can’t seem to resolve is muscle twitching especially in my legs. It’s really tough to live with. Would love to hear your thoughts if you have time to reply
Hi - yes I have looked into it and I do think in the first year or two of my health issues I had mild histamine intolerance, but it's never been one of my main issues. For me it's more pots, chest pains and cardiological issues that I deal with. I tried loratadine/ famotidine and they made me so drowsy. Oh no the muscle twitching sounds awful. I have heard of a few people having that but not come across anything that can help with that specifically unfortunately. I hope it improves for you soon

Long time POTS/Lyme’s and physician here. You aren’t in fight or flight. POTS and ANS dysfunction is a lack of proper function, like a light bulb flickering. I promise I’m trying to help. Take a lot of Thiamine, Benfothiamine, even TTFD for a few weeks up to a year. Your body was depleted metabolically by your infections. This causes your Vagus nerve function to break. You may also have peripheral neuropathies. I used large enzymes volumes and thiamine to recover from what my neurologist labeled “progressive MS”. I was much much worse than Long Covid. And the type of stressor doesn’t matter. Keep carbs low, be mostly ketogenic, increase protein. Carbs generally don’t come with enough B vitamins, but you need them to burn calories. Meat and cheese and such come with these vitamins so they keep things at break even or in surplus. If you were already depleted in B1 before you got covid, it knocked you off the cliff. ❤ Very much love and good luck!
Thanks so much for the tips! I’ll look into thiamine, benfothiamine and TTFD. Diet is very important I agree - pretty much already following what you suggest diet wise. Wishing you all the best and sending love to you too!

Has anyone else tried Methylene Blue(MB)? I look at MB like a sports brace for Mitochondria. Always research interactions with anything else you are taking, but I have had noticeable improvement in brain fog and fatigue over the past few months. 1mg/kg body mass is considered a baseline daily therapeutic dose, though I can't take that much without side effects(headache, dizziness). I recommend starting with 0.2mg/kg and titrating your dose from there. I noticed results within hours, kind of like when I put my knee brace on, it helps me through my day. And, MB has a fun side effect... it turns your pee blue. With the addition of B vitamins that changes to a neon green. :) With MB I have learned the difference between tiredness and fatigue. If something comes up that requires me to overload my routine, I now have reserve energy I can dip into as long as I refill with rest later. Prior to MB there was no reserve and severe PEM(post exertion malaise) would result from unplanned exertion. I hope this helps someone. Thanks Naima for this channel. I will be adding some of your experiences to my test queue. Yep, one at a time and wait for results.
