    Hi Naima. So glad to hear that you are doing better. I'm new to relieving my LC symptoms with special supplements. I'm almost through my 4th relapse since December 2020. This time around is the most devastating to me, realizing "I don't think I'm going to get better". With each Episode my body gets weaker and weaker. I just remember these two episodes I almost kick it with 2 minute cold showers. I was introduced to NAC from a nutritionist at the GNC store. And plan to add the "Nammo" to my routine. I'm so glad to see people online helping each other. God Speed:)

    Hello again Naima 😊 I am so happy that you are doing consistently better and are keeping a positive mindset. I have been thinking of you recently so thank you for your update. It really is a slippery slope that we are traveling on and so tricky to navigate. One step at a time and staying positive, being kind and understanding to ourselves, putting our needs first are the most important thing to our recovery. Pacing and resting and staying within our limitations, for now, is the only way, and not setting unrealistic expectations of ourselves in our day to day life is crucial to our mental and physical health!! I am realizing now, that I always was in the fight or flight mode and meditation has helped me so much already!! Keep up the great work, keep smiling and congratulations on your milestone, Naima!! ❤❤Wishing you better, stronger health every day forward! Have a great day!!! 😊❤

    Hi, I have had LC since March 2020 as well. I expect you have been following Gez Medinger. I have been following others as well but he is the most useful for info on research. I don't know much about LDN but I have had a breakthrough with Nattokinase. Life changing. It took about 2 months to fully kick in but now I can lead an almost normal life.
    I tried to come off it recently but had a bit of a setback so am back on 4000fu each night. But that is ok as it acceptable to take for 3 years or so based on latest research. It is based on Natto a fermented soy product so i am aware this could be an issue in managing histamine levels which definitely affected me in the first year or so. I went on a low histamine diet and got it under control but i just need to consider histamine levels and mast cell activation.
    You might think it worth considering? But chech re LDN first.
    Best wishes.

    • @naimaella
      @naimaella  Рік тому

      I'm glad natto has been helping you! Glad to hear you are living close to a normal life.
      I have heard such good things about nattokinase, lumbrokinase and serrapeptase, but sadly it didn't work for me I had a very strong negative reaction to it so had to stop after about two months.
      I think there's a lot of trial and error required to find what works for each individual person.

    Hi Naima - have you looked into histamine intolerance at all ? I have also been stuck in fight flight for 7+ months but after i started taking h1 h2 blockers (antihistamines) I have been better with that system and I’m not having the crazy daily adrenaline surges like I was . Unfortunately another symptom of mine which I can’t seem to resolve is muscle twitching especially in my legs. It’s really tough to live with. Would love to hear your thoughts if you have time to reply

    • @naimaella
      @naimaella  Рік тому +1

      Hi - yes I have looked into it and I do think in the first year or two of my health issues I had mild histamine intolerance, but it's never been one of my main issues. For me it's more pots, chest pains and cardiological issues that I deal with. I tried loratadine/ famotidine and they made me so drowsy.
      Oh no the muscle twitching sounds awful. I have heard of a few people having that but not come across anything that can help with that specifically unfortunately. I hope it improves for you soon

    Long time POTS/Lyme’s and physician here. You aren’t in fight or flight. POTS and ANS dysfunction is a lack of proper function, like a light bulb flickering. I promise I’m trying to help. Take a lot of Thiamine, Benfothiamine, even TTFD for a few weeks up to a year. Your body was depleted metabolically by your infections. This causes your Vagus nerve function to break. You may also have peripheral neuropathies. I used large enzymes volumes and thiamine to recover from what my neurologist labeled “progressive MS”. I was much much worse than Long Covid. And the type of stressor doesn’t matter. Keep carbs low, be mostly ketogenic, increase protein. Carbs generally don’t come with enough B vitamins,but you need them to burn calories. Meat and cheese and such come with these vitamins so they keep things at break even or in surplus. If you were already depleted in B1 before you got covid, it knocked you off the cliff. ❤ Very much love and good luck!

  • @evanlistopad7970
    @evanlistopad7970 Рік тому

    Has anyone else tried Methylene Blue(MB)? I look at MB like a sports brace for Mitochondria. Always research interactions with anything else you are taking, but I have had noticeable improvement in brain fog and fatigue over the past few months. 1mg/kg body mass is considered a baseline daily therapeutic dose, though I can't take that much without side effects(headache, dizziness). I recommend starting with 0.2mg/kg and titrating your dose from there.
    I noticed results within hours, kind of like when I put my knee brace on, it helps me through my day. And, MB has a fun side effect... it turns your pee blue. With the addition of B vitamins that changes to a neon green. :)
    With MB I have learned the difference between tiredness and fatigue. If something comes up that requires me to overload my routine, I now have reserve energy I can dip into as long as I refill with rest later. Prior to MB there was no reserve and severe PEM(post exertion malaise) would result from unplanned exertion.
    I hope this helps someone.
    Thanks Naima for this channel. I will be adding some of your experiences to my test queue. Yep, one at a time and wait for results.
