*Even though seasons 7&8 are ~the final show down~ and every thing is very fast paced and has escalated quickly, I still think they should have down 10 episodes per season the fit more information and character development throughout the last seasons and make everything flow better.*
Agree?
i agree.
the reason they said they were condensing the season was because there wasn't enough story to warrant a full further 20 eps.
bullshit. you just didn't put enough thought into plotting them out carefully enough now you don't have the books to guide you and GRRM to hold your hand. the show is breathtakingly beautiful entertaining spectacle filled with so much talent in front and behind the camera, and there are some really nice character beats still, but the overall plotting has taken a palpable nosedive and the difference between GRRM and D&D is highly evident. it's all so sudden and rushed it leaves the audience scratching their heads thinking "wtf is this character doing????!!". especially contrasted against the methodical thoughtful processes of these characters in earlier seasons.
I agree with 10 episodes needed. I think the reason there are fewer is the SFX budget eating up a lot of the overall budget. Also disappointed that episodes were announced as being longer, but they're not longer by that much. They were hyping almost like feature length for some of them.
But I'm loving what we're getting so far, generally, so hey, not too bad. :)
Yeah the top five actors for Cersei, Jaime, Jon, Tyrion, and Dany are getting like $2 mil for each episode, that could have added to the lessened episode count.
greyworm and his army are the only people in this season who are traveling at a normal speed
We just need GOOD flashbacks like yesterday, like Season 6 episode 10 kinda good flashback, JUST BRING RHAEGAR TARGARYEN PLEASE!!!
Huge fan service, terrible plot. These are exactly my thoughts about this season as well. And though I keep whining and whining about how the series is dumbing down, I cant stop watching it... :p
Bran knows everything yet he does not spoil. Bran is a good lad. be like Bran 😆
But maybe it's time for him to spoil everything!!!
Definitely a flashback of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Star is going to happen and I'm so nervous and I can't believe is the last episode already 😩
I don't think Bran knows that Jon is legitimate yet. So if there is a Rhaegar flashback, I think it'd be of the secret wedding between Rhaegar and Lyanna!
I want Littlefinger to die this season but I think it'd be cool if Arya takes his face and use it next season so that we can keep the actor. The Starks can still use the Vale while Arya wears Littlefinger's face.
You guys are so off
I would love to see a Lyanna and Rhaeghar courtship flashback. I think the Valonquar won't be till next year. I think they will milk Cersei's pregnancy.
Arya will kill little finger and take his face then do a bunch of cool shit with it oioooooo
That is absolutely NOT Euron. Doesn't look anything like Euron.
Little Sam is going to end up being very important , he's a craster son.... He must have something in his bloodline that keeps the night king chasing them
Since Sam has info he's headed to Winterfell and will meet with Bran to combine visions and documentation to tell Jon the truth.
I'm wondering if Theon collapses after the meeting bc he learned Yara is dead?
I'm not a fan of Brienne and Jaime getting together. He's in love with Cersei (however icky that seems) and there's no way Brienne can take her place in Jaime's life. Not many female warriors in his part of the world, and I don't think she could keep up with (or care about) all the plotting and intrigue. Besides, he's about to become a father again and that would be a damper on any new romances for him. I do like her and Tormund together, tho. He gets her and she'd fit right in with that culture. The Arya and Sansa drama - it's what sisters do, but I think they're going to figure out LF's trickery and turn the tables on him. The Red Priestesses - there's more than just Melisandre. They can bring the dead back to "life," so can the Night King. Could there be something to this? So many possibilities! It's gonna be an epic finale. Love the show and your reviews. 👊🏽
Makes no sense that Arya gave the dagger to Sansa. Why? I think it's a ruse to fool LF... not sure is Sansa is in on it though. Hopefully Bran intercedes & Sam gets to winterfell by the end
I have seen this post on Facebook that led to a prediction, but I'm not sure if it would happen. It was a picture showing that one King has died in each season (Robert, Renly, Robb, Joffrey, Stannis, Tommen). If this was done intentionally, then it means that either Jon or the Night King would die this season and the other next season. I had thought this earlier in this season, but as of now, I don't think I see the plot leading up to one of them dying. But something unexpected to happen, so this could be true, but I don't want to see Jon die.
Remember Bran uploading the entire fucking past, present, and future, last season? He saw a dragons shadow over the red keep. Dany gonna make an appearance in front of all of Weeteros, by riding in on a fucking dragon. First impressions and all that shit
You see... this is a real breakdown. I enjoyed this video so much that I subscribed, and liked the video.
No Mellisandre until next season. The actress is pregnant.
Jamie will totally go against his sister and bring the Lannister army north to help Jon Snow.
what do you mean by bronn survives or not its not going to be a battle they just came with there army in case if cersi will trap or something
Jon should listen to Tyrion? JON IS LISTENING TO TYRION. It was Tyrion's plan for them to go up north and capture a wight. (And then when they find out the party is in trouble, Tyrion doesn't want Dany to go help them, BTW.) It was Tyrion's plan to bring the wight to show to Cersei. This is all Tyrion's mess. Jon is trusting that Tyrion knows his sister. Jon is desperate. Tyrion seriously needs to drink more because he doesn't know crap this season.
I will say though that I think this show is for Jaime and not Cersei. Tyrion wants Jaime to talk sense into Cersei.
john snow is a real heir to the mad king, litlefinger will die through this girl, the kingsslayer will join the north, sansa will be queen in the north, and the stormborn will be pregnant
Thomas Gunde technically he's heir as legitimate last living male. Rhaegar's son
Wooooaaaww!!!! IT JUST HIT me!!!! the hidden casting for Rhegar will be Connor"mystic mac" McGregor!!!!!
Sansa and Arya are putting on a show so they can both kill Peter. They sent Brienne away so Miss Honest won't blow it. I have spoken.
I'm not so certain of that. I feel that at least one of the starks is not putting on a rouse. Brienne hates little fucker worse than the stark girls and would be happy to end his charades. I think Sansa is sending her away in case she needs to take action against Arya.
What did Tyrion say to Dany, don´t go crazy but if it kicks off then burn Kings Landing to ground plus he said ¨Cersei would torture you and then murder you¨ plus something like I trust her the least, I know what she´s like so I don´t think Dany is going to appear in the Dragon Pit unless it´s necessary because there could be more scorpions and she probably will do something stupid and I hope she doesn´t kill another one of Dany´s dragons because that would be suicide for her and all of the living. I can see her coming in with Drogon with some quickly knocked up body armour and armour for herself. Can you imagine if Gendry could learn to make Valerian steel again with the help of the scrolls and books from Sam and maybe help from the Red Witch??? Then make swords and armour for everyone? I wonder if Jon finds out at the end of the finale about his heritage and his relation to Dany. Also if he found out before would he presented at the Dragon pit as having the strongest claim to the throne and Jon Sand or Aegon Targaryen?
I feel that the more we see Danny's Dragons the less their mystic holds sway. Every time she enters a battle I'm thinking "no contest" and "job done". I find the scenes between Danny and Jon quite tiresome; she's no Ygritte!!! As for LittleFinger, Death by Arya can't come soon enough. By the way I believe Arya's character is the bizness. Watching Sanza shit bricks was a delight worth the whole episode 6. Come on GOT, deliver big time during the finale.
This is just one of my theories about what's happening up North in Winterfell, based on the trailer. During the last episode, Arya (kinda) threatened to take Sansa's face, but she didn't. And I noticed in the trailer that Sansa is quite smaller (am I the only one who noticed this?). What if Arya did take Sansa's face? She doesn't have to kill her, if you really think of it. Remember when Jacquen blinded Arya? The man who drank the poison somehow had Arya's face on him (under those other faces). So we finally might have the tragic end for Baelish
Hmm .... maybe Bran informed his sisters of all the Littlefuckery throughout the years. I bet the girls are setting up good ol' Unkin Peter for something special.
Episode 6 is horrible and I love kenny... keep throwing your crazy theories, I love them!
I think Arya will kill someone, (possibly Littlefinger), but she has never said he's on her list, since she doesn't know what he's doing between her and Sansa and I don't think she knows about him sending her to Ramsey Bolton.
Little Finger is comfortable having all the information and pulling all the strings, his downfall will be Bran, Bran knows all of Little Fingers dark secrets and I believe he will tell Sansa and Arya the truth, and Sansa will call him out for his sins then sentence him to death.
Arya will use the Catspaw dagger to carry out the sentence.
If Jon is going to King's Landing with Dany and the wight, then Brienne is redundant as an emissary from the North. Basically yeah, only there for plot reasons to be Jamie's conscience again. And to be out of the way between Sansa and Arya, which is a disappointing dynamic this year. I agree with the pitting women against each other trope you guys mentioned.
I think the armies are just a show of force and also if Cersie tries anything they'll attack. Don't see anyone dying this episode except Littlefinger, Sansa is going to have him killed. I don't think the writers know what to do with him so they'll kill him off. Think the while episode is just them trying to convince Cersie to help and to get everyone in one place for fan service.
Hold on....What are they gonna do with the captured Walker? This whole episode depended on capturing one of them, but no one know why the hell that is necessary and why it is worth the cost in lives (including a dragon). Is he going to tell them some secret that they don't already know?
the iron borne arent dumb. They would die againat unsullied...they are good at sea. Not land. Littlefinger will die. By aryas hand. It needs to happen lol
Flashback: Bran sees how Brandon Stark built the Wall thousands of years ago to stop the whitewalkers
And sam will be in finale...littlefinger will die by arya. Cersei lies to jamie and he leaves. Bran and sam figure out jons parentage and they have said that reagar will be in flashback with lyana wedding
I love americk! he is the funniest!!!!!!! all the episodes he is on it is the best!!!
I think the guy next to the boat while Theon kneels by the water is Qyburn, and he's just broken the news that Yara is dead, no rescue mission is necessary.
Sam will go to Winterfell and speak to Bran about Jons parentage.
totally agree little finger will be killed. The Starks might not see eye to eye, but love their family!!!!
Season 8 we will see red woman...shes headed to volantis. And will head back
9:37 Idk Why but I laughed Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hard! It was HILARIOUS!!!😂
They already said Regar and his new wife Jons parents will be in a Brans vision.
los actores principales son jon danerya trio bran arya
Theon is at King's Landing, in the photo he's standing next Jorah
damn your reactions and analysis are annoying as hell, I am a big fan of thrones and I love watching breakdown and reaction videos but you two are making it an excruciating experience, the littlefinger comment sealed the deal for me
One dragon could destroy iron born fleet
lol, you guys make a good pair
I have heard Podrick will die😣
If this Arya/Sansa plot doesn't turn out to be a trap to kill Baelish, I'm going to be really disappointed in the writing. With everything that's happened to them both, the only people they should/would trust is family
Sansa has absolutely no reason to be secretly helping the Lannisters and plotting to take the north(as Arya supposedly thinks), and After all Aryas training, she should be able to decipher such a thing
I think we're going to get a flashback of Jaime killing the mad kings foreshadowing him killing Cersei realizing she is mad for power also
FuzzyButt3000 ...we already got that flashback...
I believe it'll end on cliffhanger so I hope it better be a good one.
And is it true that the next season wont air until 2019??
Feras Abdullah possibly not. Nicolij Coster-Waldau said he starts filming in October, which is about the same time they started last year. Plus all 6 scripts are complete, so we may get it late summer or fall next year.
What if they go in there thinking they have the bigger army and then the golden company arrives?
sfcpldc I would think the GC could get their own transportation. why would they need to wait for Euron to come & get them? Cersei has the Iron Banks backing, she could have someone build 1,000 ships in a-GOT-day(like Euron)
Americ if Arya killed Sansa i would still like Arya
episode 6 sucks ! it was suppose to be awesome like hardhome !. i want miguel sapochnik ! this episode is crap in so many ways in so many scenes and so many side !
