I hope Arya and Sansa's whole arguing is a plot to fool Little Finger, because I am having a hard time believing Arya would be played this badly by LF. As badass as Arya is, I think she is playing LF. She wants LF to think that she is falling for his trap, when in reality, she is setting a trap for LF.
i think kit and emilia have chemistry......but it's not jon and dany romantic chemistry, it's kit and emilia's friendship chemistry. which i agree with sandrine, is very different from jon and ygritte's chemistry. though.......considering real life events, you would sort of hope he had more chemistry with ygritte, considering they're an actual couple in a serious relationship and have bought a new house together. while rose leslie and emilia clarke are real life best friends.....(it must be weird trying to film that kind of relationship not only with one of your own closest friends, but with your girlfriend's best friend/your best friend's boyfriend....that's kinda weird to even think of)

Jon also did it when he was alone with her, and in pain.... so no one knows it yet just Dany... question is will they tell it any further or drop the subject and keep on with the Long Night war...... Especially since Arya said it was the Game of Faces, where you have to lie effectively. I think Arya is playing Littlefinger to force him to reveal his plans and what he has done in that past. If Arya was to just flat out kill him without proving anything, that would be a violation of Guest Rite. And that would not be forgiven by the Northern Lords. But if Arya somehow gets Littlefinger to reveal what he has been doing, then if he was killed it would be considered jutice. At least that is my understanding.

OK I know this is kind of out there, but If Daenerys is the "Fire" and Jon is the "Ice" in the story then what if Viserion (currently controlled but the knight's king) is taken control of by Jon when he uses Dragonbinder on him and lives since Daenerys is unharmed by fire, and the Viserion would be an ice dragon, Jon could live through ice?

They sent Gendry to the wall because he would make it there faster than any of them. It made sense for them to split up because it was better than everyone getting caught and dying. Jon knew they weren't going to outrun the horde coming toward them. I thought that was pretty obvious 🤔🤔.

I don't thing you can kill the walkers with fire... Remember the three eyed raven tree? The children made a fire barricade and the walkers went through no problem... I also hated the Arya - Sansa interaction, but I do thing Sansa sent Brienne away to keep her out of littlefinger littelfingeries...
alexys deborah well Dragon fire is different then regular fire. It's significantly hotter and harder to deal with, like wildfire. Actually wildfire is man-made dragon fire. So it was expected to work...but it didn't.

When i first watched it (leaked episode), i felt the same way - but after watching it again today (i know, i'm a nerd) - i think they were trying to convey that one person had to sacrifice themselves to make sure that everyone else got away safely. That they would be overcome by the wight walkers unless someone fought them off. I agree, it wasn't choreographed that well, because he seemed quite far away from the dragon in the end.

-they did not need to weaken dany, she already lost all her allies, all she had left was the dothraki & maybe some unsullied....oh & there's the fact that dany AND her dragons are the ONLY hope humanity has at all -& yeah i thought it was very strange that sandrine loves dragons but wanted 1 of them to die & join the night king???? she even said before that it would be "cool"???? -yeah, viserion not only dying, but then being brought back? to me, that was not remotely "cool", i thought it was the most catastrophic thing that has EVER happened in the ENTIRE history of the series....if viserion is a wight rather than a white walker (which has yet to be explained, cause NK touched him like when he changed the baby, but at the same time, viserion was dead, so is he a wight or a white walker?) but if he IS a wight, then he's a wight who's FIREPROOF..."fire cannot burn a dragon"...in other words, humanity is done for, period, why even have any more episodes at this point? -besides all that, i think the reason it's hard for some ppl to see dany & jon as a romantic thing (& i always just wanted them to work together, didn't care about any romance at all) is because the pace is soooo sped up this season it's like they've barely known each other for more than what like 4 eps? that it's much harder to believe that their feelings would have even had time to develop let alone solidify -& a lot of ppl had major issues with this episode & said that much of it made no sense, aside from the stupidity of even trying to go get a wight & bring it back :P, but what few have mentioned is that it's been heavily foreshadowed that NK has the same sort of psychic abilities as bran, so yes that would explain MUCH of what happened in this battle if he already had seen it & knew exactly what was going to happen before it did (though, yeah benjen totally could have left with jon, that 1 was annoying :P )
This episode for me had a lot of cave of convience moments. Has anyone mentioned the knight king going for a Costa Coffee while John escapes?? Also assume the knight kings past time is whips and chains and possibly why taking army of the dead to walk so slow dragging big chains beyond the wall, as they appeared from no where to drag a dragon out of a lake that all the dead was drowning in. However did like the exchanges between characters, and supercharged for next week's exchange. Keep up the good reviews guys
I'm going out on a limb here, but I think that GOT hate being predictable. They like the mystery and the suspense and surprises SO I think that because of what happened with the walkers going poof after killing a white, everyone assumes that oooh kill the Night King and they'll all die! For some reason, I think because of this, Jon, Dany and crew are going to put whatever they have into him and him only. Naturally, because they think kill him and it kills them all. I think they're going to kill him eventually, but it's not going to destroy the army. While ya he's the King, I don't think he's the original. And imagine them putting their entire force into killing this one walker, they finally do it and BAM. Threat is still there.
As soon as Littlefinger stopped checking his back I could tell he knew Arya was following him. He is smart, and one shouldnt underestimate their enemy. Id like to believe they wont ruin Arya's character by letting her get fooled by him, and that shes just testing them because by now she should be more than just good at fighting
I had predicted after last season ago that Viserion would die. There was the people saying that sine there's three dragons, there should be three people to ride the dragons. Since Jon is a Targaryen, and Rheghal is named for Rheghar, his dragon should still be alive when the reveal happens. People said maybe Tyrion might be Targaryen, but I didn't agree with that, since the show hadn't set that up throughout the previous seasons.

Once again, the absolute best GoT episode recap/review out there! You guys ROCK! And Jeff...what can be said about poor Jeff? With a voice like that, I'll bet he was a bard before he was turned. Thoughts? Anyway, regarding everyone's least favorite plot line throughout this season: the completely forced & totally unnecessary Arya/Sansa feud. There is something I think we should take note of; Littlefinger specifically mentioned Breanne having an oath to protect both Stark girls. Sansa watched Arya spar with Breanne right along with Littlefinger, so I'm sure she would agree with him that she is more than capable of defending either her or Arya, should the need arise. So it would be in her best interest to keep Breanne around. And Littlefinger knows this. In fact, I believe he is banking on it. Breanne is probably the only person in Winterfell that Sansa can trust completely. So...I believe the letter that came for Sansa, requesting that she come to King's Landing was actually crafted by... Littlefinger. Reason being, it is well known that Sansa is not fond of the idea of sending ANY Starks south. She was against Jon going, so it only stands to reason that she would be against going herself. And, again, knowing she can trust Breanne, Sansa sends her in her stead. Which is what Littlefinger planned on all along...because now...with Arya in her inexplicable 'I can tell when someone is lying but I can't tell that Sansa's not lying' rationale, Littlefinger is now the only person Sansa can turn to, for anything. He's made himself indispensable to Sansa, with Breanne out of the way. I don't enjoy this plot line at all, but it makes complete sense if you consider that Littlefinger is manipulating ever aspect of this fabricated conflict. A sweet payoff for this would be if Arya is completely aware of this, & is actually playing Littlefinger.
D & D break down why benjen had to stay in their Inside the Episode this week. He was holding the wights off to give Jon a chance to get away and as a way to finally get to die. He knew his purpose finally.

Dany can't have more babies or doesn't want to? Was her womb cursed/diseased from the blood magic to "save" Drogo that led to her miscarriage? Is Jon the last fertile Targaryen? Do they have other options like adoption? Also are there other dragon eggs (where did they get the first 3?)? Is there a female dragon? Are dragons going extinct again? Is magic going to stop working again too?
Komninos Maraslidis Dany was told by Miri Mazdur that she would no longer be able to have children. This could be a magic thing but it could be that childbirth damaged her physically making her infertile. So it is possible that Jon is the Last fertile Targaryan. As for dragon eggs, Ilirio told Dany they were from Asshai. That may be true but they may have been stolen from Kings Landing. At one time, the Targaryans had several eggs there. There are rumors of eggs at Dragonstone and Winterfell as well.
Komninos Maraslidis Dragons are both female and male, able to change if needed I believe. At least all dragons can lay eggs. Ancient legends of Asshai state that dragons come from there originally. Dragonstone, being the long time home of the Targaryans before Aegons conquest, was the hatching site of several dragons. After dragons died off in Westeros, many of the kings attempted various ways to hatch dragon eggs. The most famous was Aegon the 4th at the Tragedy of Sunmerhall. From the name, you can tell things didn't go well. But we can gather that there were eggs there. There is a legend that when Targaryan dragon rider visited Winterfell, the dragon laid a clutch of dragons there. The thing is that not all dragon eggs hatch. And those that didn't were often passed on, to be placed in the children's cribs in hopes they would hatch. There is really no count of how many dragon eggs are out there.
It's information from ALL of the books about Westeros. Not just the "A Song Of Ice And Fire" series that the show is based on. But the "World of Ice And Fire" (a history type book about the world Westeros is in) The Dunk and Egg Tales (graphic novels about Ser Duncan and his squire, Egg who's has big secret I won't spoil.) and the short novellas "The Princess and the Queen" and "The Rogue Prince" about the Dance of Dragons, the war between two sides of the Targaryan family. Each book is about the same world and the information tends to be scattered around a bit, but it's all there.
The whites seemed to work together like a hive, following the night king. Also, I think the night king waited on purpose. He seemed to let Jon and them survive, for the most part, because he was waiting for Dany and her dragons. I mean come one, he had spears ready to go and they were waiting until Dany got close enough to save them. It seems like the night king knows things like the three eyed raven. Because now the night king leveled the playing field. I think there is a chance that the night king purposefully gave up a white. I think the night king wants the living to attack them full force. I also think the night King missed the dragon the second time on purpose.

alexys deborah well Dragon fire is different then regular fire. It's significantly hotter and harder to deal with, like wildfire. Actually wildfire is man-made dragon fire. So it was expected to work...but it didn't.

What about the moment when the dragon lands and instead of getting on it and flying away, Jon started fighting the undead, who were not a threat at all, for NO FUCKING REASON!! And that's what got the other dragon killed!! I mean WTF was that?? It's just stupid and lazy writing!

When i first watched it (leaked episode), i felt the same way - but after watching it again today (i know, i'm a nerd) - i think they were trying to convey that one person had to sacrifice themselves to make sure that everyone else got away safely. That they would be overcome by the wight walkers unless someone fought them off. I agree, it wasn't choreographed that well, because he seemed quite far away from the dragon in the end.

-yeah, viserion not only dying, but then being brought back? to me, that was not remotely "cool", i thought it was the most catastrophic thing that has EVER happened in the ENTIRE history of the series....if viserion is a wight rather than a white walker (which has yet to be explained, cause NK touched him like when he changed the baby, but at the same time, viserion was dead, so is he a wight or a white walker?) but if he IS a wight, then he's a wight who's FIREPROOF..."fire cannot burn a dragon"...in other words, humanity is done for, period, why even have any more episodes at this point?
-besides all that, i think the reason it's hard for some ppl to see dany & jon as a romantic thing (& i always just wanted them to work together, didn't care about any romance at all) is because the pace is soooo sped up this season it's like they've barely known each other for more than what like 4 eps? that it's much harder to believe that their feelings would have even had time to develop let alone solidify
-& a lot of ppl had major issues with this episode & said that much of it made no sense, aside from the stupidity of even trying to go get a wight & bring it back :P, but what few have mentioned is that it's been heavily foreshadowed that NK has the same sort of psychic abilities as bran, so yes that would explain MUCH of what happened in this battle if he already had seen it & knew exactly what was going to happen before it did (though, yeah benjen totally could have left with jon, that 1 was annoying :P )

This episode for me had a lot of cave of convience moments. Has anyone mentioned the knight king going for a Costa Coffee while John escapes?? Also assume the knight kings past time is whips and chains and possibly why taking army of the dead to walk so slow dragging big chains beyond the wall, as they appeared from no where to drag a dragon out of a lake that all the dead was drowning in. However did like the exchanges between characters, and supercharged for next week's exchange. Keep up the good reviews guys
I'm going out on a limb here, but I think that GOT hate being predictable. They like the mystery and the suspense and surprises SO I think that because of what happened with the walkers going poof after killing a white, everyone assumes that oooh kill the Night King and they'll all die! For some reason, I think because of this, Jon, Dany and crew are going to put whatever they have into him and him only. Naturally, because they think kill him and it kills them all. I think they're going to kill him eventually, but it's not going to destroy the army. While ya he's the King, I don't think he's the original. And imagine them putting their entire force into killing this one walker, they finally do it and BAM. Threat is still there.
As soon as Littlefinger stopped checking his back I could tell he knew Arya was following him. He is smart, and one shouldnt underestimate their enemy. Id like to believe they wont ruin Arya's character by letting her get fooled by him, and that shes just testing them because by now she should be more than just good at fighting

I had predicted after last season ago that Viserion would die. There was the people saying that sine there's three dragons, there should be three people to ride the dragons. Since Jon is a Targaryen, and Rheghal is named for Rheghar, his dragon should still be alive when the reveal happens. People said maybe Tyrion might be Targaryen, but I didn't agree with that, since the show hadn't set that up throughout the previous seasons.
Jon was fucking Egritte in real life, so might have helped his bad acting.

People are moaning about uncle B, Benjin is half dead why would he wanna go back to his family like that even if he could get round the wall? Everyone saying why get proof for cersie its the best way to stop her attacking you while you fight the white walkers even if dont work least try keep her busy while you are busy think the reason why one wight staid in one piece is think when a group of wights scout ahead of the army they keep a wight that wasnt changed by the WW with them so if be any chance they do fall one can call the rest Maybe the knights king could be a greenseer and knew the dragons are coming thats why they all had spears all the white walkers no other weapon so if they knew they was coming the chains could have been made a long time ago arya is mad at sansa for writing the letter yet she was tywins cup bearer and served him to stay alive! Maybe dany didnt get the nights watch raven maybe bran sent one before them thats why dany got there so quick bran could have seen in a vision that they would need her and sent a raven? more moaning about dany and jons quick love they been in each others pocket for weeks on dragonstone then when she saved him at the cost of a dragon is lit the fires that hes falling for her and same way round thankyou if take time to read this sorry so long lol

Once again, the absolute best GoT episode recap/review out there! You guys ROCK! And Jeff...what can be said about poor Jeff? With a voice like that, I'll bet he was a bard before he was turned. Thoughts? Anyway, regarding everyone's least favorite plot line throughout this season: the completely forced & totally unnecessary Arya/Sansa feud. There is something I think we should take note of; Littlefinger specifically mentioned Breanne having an oath to protect both Stark girls. Sansa watched Arya spar with Breanne right along with Littlefinger, so I'm sure she would agree with him that she is more than capable of defending either her or Arya, should the need arise. So it would be in her best interest to keep Breanne around. And Littlefinger knows this. In fact, I believe he is banking on it. Breanne is probably the only person in Winterfell that Sansa can trust completely. So...I believe the letter that came for Sansa, requesting that she come to King's Landing was actually crafted by... Littlefinger. Reason being, it is well known that Sansa is not fond of the idea of sending ANY Starks south. She was against Jon going, so it only stands to reason that she would be against going herself. And, again, knowing she can trust Breanne, Sansa sends her in her stead. Which is what Littlefinger planned on all along...because now...with Arya in her inexplicable 'I can tell when someone is lying but I can't tell that Sansa's not lying' rationale, Littlefinger is now the only person Sansa can turn to, for anything. He's made himself indispensable to Sansa, with Breanne out of the way. I don't enjoy this plot line at all, but it makes complete sense if you consider that Littlefinger is manipulating ever aspect of this fabricated conflict. A sweet payoff for this would be if Arya is completely aware of this, & is actually playing Littlefinger.
D & D break down why benjen had to stay in their Inside the Episode this week. He was holding the wights off to give Jon a chance to get away and as a way to finally get to die. He knew his purpose finally.

Komninos Maraslidis Dany was told by Miri Mazdur that she would no longer be able to have children. This could be a magic thing but it could be that childbirth damaged her physically making her infertile. So it is possible that Jon is the Last fertile Targaryan.
As for dragon eggs, Ilirio told Dany they were from Asshai. That may be true but they may have been stolen from Kings Landing. At one time, the Targaryans had several eggs there. There are rumors of eggs at Dragonstone and Winterfell as well.
Komninos Maraslidis Dragons are both female and male, able to change if needed I believe. At least all dragons can lay eggs. Ancient legends of Asshai state that dragons come from there originally. Dragonstone, being the long time home of the Targaryans before Aegons conquest, was the hatching site of several dragons. After dragons died off in Westeros, many of the kings attempted various ways to hatch dragon eggs. The most famous was Aegon the 4th at the Tragedy of Sunmerhall. From the name, you can tell things didn't go well. But we can gather that there were eggs there. There is a legend that when Targaryan dragon rider visited Winterfell, the dragon laid a clutch of dragons there. The thing is that not all dragon eggs hatch. And those that didn't were often passed on, to be placed in the children's cribs in hopes they would hatch. There is really no count of how many dragon eggs are out there.
It's information from ALL of the books about Westeros. Not just the "A Song Of Ice And Fire" series that the show is based on. But the "World of Ice And Fire" (a history type book about the world Westeros is in) The Dunk and Egg Tales (graphic novels about Ser Duncan and his squire, Egg who's has big secret I won't spoil.) and the short novellas "The Princess and the Queen" and "The Rogue Prince" about the Dance of Dragons, the war between two sides of the Targaryan family. Each book is about the same world and the information tends to be scattered around a bit, but it's all there.
The whites seemed to work together like a hive, following the night king. Also, I think the night king waited on purpose. He seemed to let Jon and them survive, for the most part, because he was waiting for Dany and her dragons. I mean come one, he had spears ready to go and they were waiting until Dany got close enough to save them. It seems like the night king knows things like the three eyed raven. Because now the night king leveled the playing field. I think there is a chance that the night king purposefully gave up a white. I think the night king wants the living to attack them full force. I also think the night King missed the dragon the second time on purpose.
