So many small nuggets/tips included.. awesome. Absolutely love the upper arm “tool” to flush out the bush… the best explained process!

Thanks mate! It’s an awesome kit and can easily be assumed that it’s more complicated than it looks. But it’s fairly straight forward. I’ll put a link in this video to your most recent one explaining the tube inside the trailing arm as I feel it’s definitely necessary mentioning.

Thanks for the video, about to do the same on my mini, only thing I'd keep are those original metal grease sleeves (worth their weight in gold), the replacement plastic ones split in the middle and leak all the grease inside the hollow arm, about 1kg of grease (why is the grease gun emptying?)... Only place I can find replacement metal grease sleeves are on ClassicMinisJapan, i'm going to ask around local metalwork companies to see if they can copy the plastic ones, hope you kept the originals in a spare parts bucket.

@Xsangelo if only i had known this before hand :( Sadly i threw these away, thinking that the new ones would be much better. If you've had experiences with them failing, then maybe they aren't as good as the original ones fitted. Maybe we should invest in remaking these parts? worth a thought haha

I think that the drift that comes with the kit is designed to remove both of the bushes - nice kit.

Hey Toby, sorry for the late reply on this, u sure how I didn’t see it back then. From memory, I believe that I had started to mushroom the head of the drift so to prevent further damage, welding was the next best option to get out the bearing.

Great video there Tomo. Lots of information for the DIY guys out there. I need to do an oil change on my BT50. What oil would you recommend and should I replace any filters while I'm under the bonnet?

Thanks for the feedback, it’s always good to know hear from followers.
Funny you mention that, I have filmed an episode several weeks ago about servicing my sisters Mazda BT50 that we tried utilizing a GoPro and different lighting at work. I’ll endeavor to upload this over the weekend to help assist you in servicing your car
