- Another addition to the Dr. Sugai Reviews... Series! I am excited to talk about this sunscreen (almost as excited as talking about EltaMD's UV Clear SPF). This is a solid option for both women and my fellow men out there who are looking for a water-resistant sunscreen that comes in tinted and non-tinted formulations.
Here I specifically review the NON-TINTED formulation that is purely mineral based (zinc and titanium). Stay tuned for a comparison video on the Non-tinted vs Tinted sunscreens.
I will break down the ingredients which I think makes this sunscreen special. Watch until the end to see what score I give this one!

I just bought this based on his review and Dr. Dray’s general recommendation of la roche products. I’ve had the worst luck with mineral sunscreens (avene being the worst imo) but this was surprisingly spreadable. I did apply a moisturizer underneath, but the sunscreen didn’t feel drying on-top.
Great review Doc. Love that I have more sunscreen choices now. I’m currently trying the elta MD that you recommended but it’s too early to judge yet. Thanks for taking the time to give us your knowledgeable advice.

Loving your content.Please do the best eye creams with HA, caffeine and retinol especially for sensitive eyes
LRP, Vichy, avene, garnier, etc. Are all owned by L’Oréal. So you’ll find similar ingredients in all those lines like the thermal water.
A good dupe for this is the Sensitive Skin Liquid by Neutrogena. It doesn't have the same antioxidants and stuff but its fragrance free, mineral, and almost identical finish

This sunscreen contains Laureth-4 in the ingredient, is it irritated and safe for the acne prone or sensitive skin？
What is better, 50 SPF or 100 SPF ? It may be a stupid question but I don’t know any about this.

My dermatologist prescribed benzoyl peroxide for my hormonal ance, but she didn’t tell me what sunscreen to use. What sunscreen work best with benzoyl peroxide? Thank you so much.

It’s my HG. It comes in three shades now. I’ve been using the lightest shade, as that’s all that’s available in Canada. It’s really matte and water resistant. I have combo skin and I love it. It has antioxidants too.
If you’re dry, you’ll need a really good moisturizer under. Also a good double cleanse is needed to remove 😊 Texture is mousse like and silicone based.

dr. daniel I just using retinol for the first time. as u recommend I use after moisturizer and dry clean face for less irritation. can I also use azelaic acid at the same time I use retinol or it just too much? thank you dr Daniel!
Nindya Citra Utami hi- so glad to hear you are trying out a retinol for the first time. I would suggest to use azelaic acid separately perhaps in the morning to avoid irritation as the retinol itself may cause irritation and it needs to be applied at bedtime. Mark Jacob Bondoc hello, my friend! I like EltaMD UV Clear and Supergoop Matte screen for oily skin- both with a matte finish but the UV clear is not water resistant FYI. Uv clear does have niacinamide in it though which prevents acne! Please check out the other reviews videos on those two sunscreens. Lmk what you think of them! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼🤙🤙
