This was first time any of us had ever performed this song, so while it's not flawless, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm aware of my occasional tempo fluctuations, so any negative comments about the tempo will be deleted (you've been warned!). :)
Scott Slusher and Ken Benson were in a band with me in high school, so they drove out from CO for this little reunion gig. It was fun, but a bit rough around the edges, since we only had the weekend to rehearse.

Jeez , I never really listed to this tune. I always heard it but never really heard it, it was sort of on the periphery because its not my usual type of jam, but your version is so shockingly amazing (because it’s a live setting, essentially using a camera recorder for the sound) that it’s like I’m hearing it for the first time. Love it! It’s such a shock to hear just that little smattering of applause at the end because the sound is so damn good. It kind of reminds me of when. I used to play casinos. You could play melt your face off good, I mean the mountains could crumble, the seas could roar and the power of the music is just overwhelming, and when you stop, all you hear are the bells and beeps of the slot machines, etc. The pay was always good, but you’re essentially background noise. It’s a little disheartening, to hear such amazing songs done so masterfully well, and then at the end it’s just ……. yea… that’s… great..

Hey Mike, I don't know if you'll see this, but I just wanted to say that you are incredible. I've been listening to Free Falling, Tears in Heaven, and this song to say the least, for the last couple of days and can now officially say that I have found a cover artist who may have made me love some of my favorite songs even more. Seriously, when your voice opens up into a chorus or you start strumming the opening chords, I sit back and am blown away at the amazing job you do with these songs that have meant so much to me for so long. When days get rough as they usually do, I can come back here, listen to your beautiful covers and escape for awhile, and if that's not the power of a good person and great music then I don't know what is. I honestly cannot praise your incredibly powerful performances enough. Thank you for doing this, and I hope that one day there will be millions of people who recognize you for doing exactly what you've done for me.

These gentlemen are fantastic. All they do is covers, which I don't generally care for but these guys are equal to if not better than a bands original version. I prefer this version over "Snow Patrols" original. This is pure humble talent. Thank you gentlemen.
