One day after a chemo treatment my husband and laid on our bed . After 1 1/2 years of treatment and 29 years of marriage I think that was the day I knew he wasn't going to make it and this song came on. I laid there quietly singing this to him while I ran my fingers of his now bald head and tried so hard not to cry. But I felt this song down to my soul. To this day when I hear this song I freely cry now. He's been gone for 8 years now God knows I still love and miss that man.

There's nothing about being massively famous that should exclude a song from being considered a masterpiece. There are a lot of songs through the years that I would say check both boxes. With that said, there's certainly plenty of garbage crowding the airwaves.

In 2006 I lost someone very special to cancer and the song was on the radio every day, when I went to work, when I had lunch when I got home from work, and in the evening it was being played on radio. The orchestra members were smiling and singing along. Gary, the singer was just full of joie de vivre. The whole hall was brimming with utter love for this song and this performance. I proposed to my wife 18 years ago. When we got in our car this song came on. We sang the harmonies at the top of our lungs. It immediately became our song. She passed away from cancer too young and 10 years later. To this day I sing this song at the top of my lungs. I know she is singing with me. 😊

Had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. The first time at a charity concert at Rock City Notts, they were the last band on after many bands that day and everyone was just expecting four or five numbers, they played their full set and then some. Second time was at Manchester arena right at the front standing, they just captivated everyone. Great band, great songs.

In 2006 I lost someone very special to cancer and the song was on the radio every day, when I went to work, when I had lunch when I got home from work, and in the evening it was being played on radio. It brings back memories of my special person and comforts me to know they are in a special place, Heaven. I cry every time I hear the Song "Chasing Cars'. Had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. The first time at a charity concert at Rock City Notts, they were the last band on after many bands that day and everyone was just expecting four or five numbers, they played their full set and then some. Second time was at Manchester arena right at the front standing, they just captivated everyone. Great band, great songs.
OMG!! What an arrangement of an already great song. Snow Patrol is great musicians and artists. They are clearly having fun, too. Much more than a "band." The difference between this arrangement and their original is startling, creative, and beautiful. A pleasure to watch and listen. OMG!!
