It's p cool seeing how Shredder goes from not caring at all about the turtles to becoming absolutely obsessed with destroying them. Really makes him feel like a living character who is always doing something in the background, and exists outside of just his interactions with the turtles.
That's what happens in every iteration, he meets them at some point at the start and becomes obsessed with them, and of course it ends up biting him in the ass.

56:18 I love how furious Shredder gets. Here they are officially his arch enemies. Up until this moment he mostly considered them pests to be destroyed, but now he will make sure that they are all dead.
True. Because before this episode both Splinter and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Utrom Shredder were more like annoying pests rather than archenemies. And in the Turtles Forever he clearly hates them even more than ever (as he was willing to destroy not only 2003 turtles, but also all of the other versions of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). I wish that there would be a crossover between 2012 and 2003, since the 2012 TMNT are already have a crossover with the 1987, but not with the 2003 (especially when Utrom Shredder somehow survived and return).

There is a TV Trope known as Villain Decay. But Ch'rell completely averts this trope and manages to remain powerful and dangerous throghout the whole series!

@@jojoharder6906 a nomination for The Roundtable if you would.
@@cesarvictoriano8072 Precisely
Indeed Ultrom Shredder is most dangerous and fearsome Shredder of all Shredders in TMNT Multiverse
Honestly Utrom Shredder felt less like an imposter and more like a successor to the real Demon Shredder, both wish for world domination, both are incredibly formidable in their own right, and both have the same philosophy. If anything Karai felt more like an imposter to the Shredder because she didn't have that same level of fierceness and ambition that both shredders have when they appear on screen.
One might even say that Utrom Shredder was the reincarnation of the Demon Shredder in an alien body.
Ch’rell is such an evil badass. He’s the best Shredder incarnation of the TMNT series. His only redeeming quality is that his bond with Karai seemed to be built out of genuine affection rather than fear. There are several hints that he does love Karai - Obviously first one is that he trained her, showing his somewhat caring side rather than truly seeing potential in her being his heir.
Trusted her with his Utrom identity.
Trusted her with ruling the Foot in Japan.
Trusted and heeded her advice, and trusted her skills in ending the war and caring for him as he recovered after the TCRI building explosion.
Never punished her for her failures, even when she failed to kill the Turtles after he ordered her to do so.
Showing anger at Stockman and Hun for lying about her death.
Sending Hun after her and showing legitimate concern for her capture and expressing rage at Hun’s supposed lack of care for Karai’s capture and lack of desire to do something about it. This point can be debunked by saying he should have gone to Bishop’s base himself, as fans would say, yes but it’s better than nothing and Hun was his second best soldier, Karai was supposedly his most skilled. There is a reason Hun envied her.
Expressed complete trust in Karai’s ability to manage his businesses while he is away. His words later while asking Karai to remain loyal and obedient as she always had been shows that he has complete faith in her. Even though I disagree with his actions at the starship which includes hitting Karai after she defended Leonardo, it seems that Ch’rell was greatly shocked by the fact she defended his enemies, and this shows that he had complete faith in her. He felt disrespected and insulted by his daughter who he believed in. Karai is justified with her actions but I think Ch’rell’s reaction is noteworthy.
Also, forgave her betrayal and trusted her with handling the Technodrone’s redevelopment and confided her with his plan.
Also, he was shocked of her siding with the Turtles and was seemingly saddened by Karai begging him to stop with his revenge. Notice how when Karai pleads with him that she doesn’t want to lose him again Ch’rell looks at her, and is later skeptic and even seemed sad showing that he genuinely cared about her but his hatred for the Turtles exceeded his love for Karai. Honestly I may be wrong that Ch’rell loved Karai, but considering their unique bond, it may be possible.
In the end, his "love" for Karai was a tactic he used to gain edges in his agenda. Karai and all his minions, in the end, were all just means to ends.
@@mphlohi I don’t know. There were a few exceptions which hints at a different level of view when it comes to Karai. Shredder could have also placed his cybernetic engram as leader of the Foot but he placed his trust in Karai instead. He raised her and trusted her unconditionally.
@@justsomeguy747 He trusted her, yes, but he didn't "love" her; he doesn't love anybody.
@@mphlohi I think he had a semblance of affection towards her at least. Affection isn’t the same as love. She’s probably the only person he had affection for. Others he may had fondness for and others he definitely respected.

In my opinion Utrom Shredder is more sinister/evil than Thanos
Sure Thanos whiped half of Universe but he only wanted to balance world and make it better in his own view and even cared for Gamora despite sacraficing her on Vormir, plus he spares his opponents and only kills when necessary, as well as apologizing to Nebula for all abuse he did
Shredder on other hand is ruthless, emotionless, punishes Stockman mercilessly by cutting him in pieces, even atacked other planets, let’s not forget how in Turtles Forever he tried to destroy Multiverse

Hands down the scariest Shredder of all time. This guy just would not go down. Dropping a water tower on his head, blowing him up, and even decapitation (I still don't know how 4kids allowed that scene). All of it he survived and kept coming back for more.
5:20 of course kaiba would challenge him to a duel
Challenge
Ngl when I was younger this version of shredder scared me a bit… but man they made him so menacing
This is well made,I always loved this show growing up and its the reason I watched the 80's version and 2012 versions as well
21:46 Favorite Shredder Line
It's a good Line, but for me this one it's totally Legend

Mine when you haw haw and ruin your devil’s revenge plan 56:18
17:58 Heh heh… knowing the events of the end of Season 1 and the start of season 2 really shows this little exchange in a different light.
Those Game Boy sound effects that they added during the Season 3 finale is a nice touch.

That was lots of fans of this show's reaction when Funimation quit back in the day on releasing the show fully on DVD.
AND when Nickelodeon did random 3 Episode Volumes instead of proper Season Sets.
Do you know the theme used in this scene?
I don’t care about that little Easter egg when the Utroms were leaving the building, Ch’rell *is* the 2003 Krang for all intents and purposes, he just cut out having to make the Shredder work with him, by just *being* him.
Not really since they have completely different personalities. Krang was never as evil as Ch'rell; they are actually pollar opposites. Ch'rell's personality was inspired by Mirage Shredder.
@@kawaki4441 but he fills the role of Kraang as their Utrom enemy. And in terms of effectiveness no Kraang has come as close individually to rival Ch’rell Shredder besides the IDW Kraang. I would freak if Kraang made himself the next Shredder just to fuck with the Turtles.
@@cesarvictoriano8072 Kraang wasn't an Utrom by the time Ch'rell was created, so that's a moot point. Ch'rell was turtles first Utrom enemy. He also fills the role as turtles' Ninjutsu nemesis that leads entire Ninja Clan. Ch'rell was first and foremost the Shredder.
Not many pure evils seem to consciously sacrifice themselves to pursue their agendas.
Owlman: Am I joke to you?
@@micahwatson7652 Yes, you are, Owlman.
After seeing how Tempermental stockman is with shredder, i'm not surprised he kept relieving him of body parts.
"My humble army of ninjas," for some reason, this line tickles me.
Because of all the unsaid lore behind it
This version of the Shredder is the most evil Shredder out of every incarnation of the Shredder.
Shredder 2012 evil too, but 2003 Shredder is cooler
@@299ododkkskdeu2 Yeah, but also, the Utrom Shredder is the most despicable incarnation of the Shredder because of how heinous he truly is.
@@299ododkkskdeu2 his goals are much bigger than 2012 shredder
@@darrenvanderhorst5856Yeah!
When the 83 turtles jumped on his visor, even Ch'rell felt that intent to kill.
Those foot technicians trying to hold down leather head are loyal as hell
I can’t believe this show would portray Stockman being repeatedly dismembered for failure. Insanely dark. GOT level stuff. Unforgettable.
44:28 he sounds so amazing

i know right bro🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the Lex Luthor approach they gave him in season 3.
