He was happy coz Medullica butchered it with humotata drumming and supercool delivered lyrics. Yeahrrr I met with captain Faryeeah and his monyeeeah he was counting - yeah rre I first produced my pistol yeahrrr and I then produced my rapier Yeah Yeahrrr (evil).
Ricky mentioned the Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey. Noone knows what was played on the original version of the song as it's from centuries ago and probably had tin whistles and bodrahns.
cries :( No Acoustic sounds better than the ESP X-tone for the money. I compared mine to a damn Taylor or Martin easy. Called X-tone cause it was built by Aliens from Planet X most like...anyway that is a totally legit comment.
I'm sick of all the shit about oh I'm a metallica fan Or I'm a megadeath. I like heavy and both of them are better than that talentless grindcore garbage
ESP guitars are the best. I put them above my own American Fender but I love the way they both sound. Shame I got pissed off and busted out my mother's windshield with it this one time. I miss my ESP. Schecter C-1 is great too. I also like for Acoustic the Ovation as well. Ibanez will always be a teenagers first real guitar. I ditched my Ibanez AES10E for the Esp even though mine was double the value. Cause I appreciate Great Professional Guitar sounding tone-age. I broke my U100 series Aria Pro II that was my first guitar for bare bones to build my art guitar. Worst mistake I ever did in my youth. My Aria was in a Guitar Museum book. Mine was even more special cause it had a $80000 bottom piece on it. Which I'm only seen on a very rare Guitar. It had gold hardware on it which I needed for my art piece which I threw out cause I had no room or storage for it. :( Like I said it was a mistake. My Art Guitar was a Charvel. Which was a Stratocaster that was green metallic and I sanded down with a double headed grinder it looked really cool then I pained flames on it with an airbrush. It started out as a new guitar built ENDED up as an art guitar when the pickups malfunctioned after walking home in the rain with it. My U100 had EMG doublehumbucker pickups from the 80s, 81 and 85 I believe.
Every video I've seen of Dave playing riffs on his own, looks like he can't play, why so? Is there good footage of him getting into a groove, can never find any
Yeah Dave does seem rough around the edges in interviews but in a professional setting he seems to kick it up a couple notch’s, he also says he doesn’t practice much outside of touring and the studio.
Great to hear Dave mention KK Downing as a influence for him playing a V. When I think of a Flying V I think of KK,Mustane,Schenker. Great video!
If y'all could get Tony Iommi and Matt Pike in a room together that would be the greatest thing of all time.
Hannaan Ahmed That'd be awesome too!
yesss
@@hannaanahmed8352 add KK Downing to that and it would be perfect
Have a lot of respect for Mustaine and now itching to listen to more Thin Lizzy. Was pretty cool to hear them jam
Dave Mustaine was inspired by Micheal Schenker to play a Flying-V and I am inspired by Dave Mustaine to play a Flying-V. How the chain goes on! :)
Same here bro! /m\
And now i am inspired by you :D look at that
exactly the same bro V gang for life!
And KK downing
Same but I have a Jackson since Dean guitars are crap.
These two guys remind me of my crew. Just a bunch of older metal heads talking about old times. Good stuff
“What color is that?”
“😁😁😁😁😁😁😁” “Blood red”
when he said Whiskey in a Jar...you can see Dave's eyes just go into that ' Metallica' look
😂

best piece of music journalism ive seen maybe ever? thanks fuse! you guys are definitely doing something right!
Funny how Dave never bothers to mention ESP (* edit) guitars, whom he also had a signature model with....
Or ESP.
revolutionday1 The only one he didn't mention was ESP. Dont ever remember him with Washburn? What model did he have
Aaron McBryer Ahhh, yes- the DV8-R, with the friggin' "8-ball" inlay right at the 1st fret...!!
Raf San Upon further review, I believe I was thinking of his ESP model, but confused it with Washburn. Sorry, UA-cam.
revolutionday1 its all good
That was awesome hearing their stories, you could tell Dave and Ricky are good close friends, very cool!!
Man I want that guitar. Dave's guitar.
Late to the party here.. but cheers to Dave for mentioning the Boathouse show in Norfolk VA. I was there that night! RIP Boathouse.
High speed diiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrt!
Love Dave Mustaine, Dave you're the man! DC
THAT GUITAR IZ BADDDDDDAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I would love to have been friends with Dave in highschool.
Dave mentions in his autobiography that he dropped out of school early. Maintained himself selling weed lol
@@ChristianVBlue3 yeah, his mom kicked him out and he was a drug dealer from the age of 15
@@ChristianVBlue3 He didn't drop out. He just didn't really visit any of the classes, but he did graduate.
He probably would have kicked your ass more than being your friend mate haha
I love these vids
2:11 He's talking about Hetfield, before KK Downing
nah he ment michael schenker i think and Hetfield didnt play guitar yet at first when dave met hinm
@Thijcube
James knew how to play before Mustiane bro.
Ricky mentioned the Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey. Noone knows what was played on the original version of the song as it's from centuries ago and probably had tin whistles and bodrahns.
Love this.
Great talk!!!!! Love it!!! So natural!!!!
Guitar is damn beautiful
Jerry Cantrell and Slash. Zakk Wylde and Jeff Watson. Phil Collen and Reb Beach. I'd fucking love any of those in any combination.
AWSOME GUITAR PLAYERS RIGHT THERE
What a great vid!
Alex Skolnick and Kirk Hammett!
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘
Such a grand guitar
Love it but could ya do some lizzy?
Richie and his flying guitar
they should do a record together
Enjoyed this although it's surprising how uncomfortable Mustaine looks when he's actually holding his guitar!!

That's exactly the face I made when I found out my hero's were not actually superhuman
Best video

He’s tuning? Lol
@@EricJaegerMusic I know I know, it's amusing to me out of context
