The table illustrate the amount of money where it was spent by police in 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain while the pie charts depict the percentage of this spent on each category.
Overall, the majority of money was spent on salaries and the budget increased within one year.
It is clear that 75% of money spent to salaries in 2017 whereas this percentage decreased to 69% in 2018. Budget which was allocated to buildings and transport remained at the same level at 17%. Also, there was a sharp increase in the category of techonology from 8% to 14%.
In 2017, the total amount of money used by police was 304.7 millions of pound and this rate went up to almost 319 millions of pound in 2018. Moreover, national government category almost stayed the same throughout the year. However, local taxes experienced a sharp increase. In 2017, 91.2m pound allocated for local taxes and this money increased to 102.3m pound in 2018. Finally, other sources such as grants saw a slight increase by half millions of pound between 2017 and 2018.

@@LilieIELTS you will get only 6, because you didn't add any linking words. Also you are going to details information rather than make it short.
@@apurbadebnath4342 The word "this" will be also counted as a linking word too.

Hi how are you sister. I have to say a bunch of thanks for you. Because you taught so well. I have a question for you: what band did you take from IELTS Writing
Appreciate the kind words. My most recent score is 8977.
I love you sis ❤
Hi sister, in the detailed paragraph 2 you have used: the proportion decreased from 75% of the total to 69%. Have you used 'total' as the total amount was given in the table or can we use percentage points instead of the total?
Here is a way to use 'percentage points': the proportion decreased by 6 percentage points from 75% of the total to 69%.
Is it okay to write t304.7 like this? Or in stead of writing t, total should be used?
Hi, that's not a "t". That's the pound sign: £304.7 million. The font I used in the video makes "£" look like a "t". Sorry about that.
Thank you Lilie for this video .... by the way can you do a small favour please ... there is no video about two part essay types in your playlist .
Book 15 ... Test 1 ...task 2 ..i am really struggling for making structure for this type of essays.

Good point!😊
Hi why did you use t3million and other digits?
What does it mean?
Can you please tell
It isn't 't'...it's '£'. The font makes '£' looks like 't'.

The bar chart illustrate the proportion of American people who consumed fast food in restaurants in 2003 and 2013. Overall, people in USA ate fast food either everyday or never in 2003, 2006, and 2013. Moreover, majority of people preferred to eat fast food once a week or once or twice a month.
It can be seen that, not even 5% of people in USA did not eat junk food everyday in 2003, 2006, and 2013. Moreover, same trend can be seen for the people who never tried eating fast food at below 5 percent except in 2003. Notably, about 15% of people consumed fast food in 2006 and 2013 whereas in 2003, this rate decreased to approximately 13% in 2003.
On the other hand, majority of people preffered consuming fast food once a week at just over 30 percent in 2003 and 2006 except in 2013 at about 27%. In addition, 30% of people who had habit going to fast food restaurants in 2003 decreased 5% in 2006 and again in 2013, this rate had its peak level at almost 35%.
I hope this gets at least 6.5

From where we could buy cambridge book 17... I am going to attend the test on 11 th of august
Hi, I'm not sure how you can buy it in your country. I bought it in China.
Hie l have it in my laptop l can send it to you on email or something
Can we use "At the beginning " and "Moving further" in 1st and 2nd paragraph resp ... ???
Can you provide example sentences? How are you going to use them exactly?
@@LilieIELTS like " To begin with, china has the world largest population out of four given country.."
And "Moving further,Nepal has the least number of people " .
Like this ... Can we use in beginning of 1st and 2nd paragraph??
@@Desync_pxl I think they work. But note that you used "to begin with" in your example, not "at the beginning". "At the beginning" doesn't work.
@@LilieIELTS sry that was a typing error....and thanks for your help
...i really do appreciate ...
if I would be explaining a table, I would just tell the number of rows and columns of table will mention the headings in table and simply describe what's written in it other than describing what increased and what decreased. And about the pie chart, I would have described the colors of each part while mentioning it's name.😭😭 I really need to practice more than I thought to understand the concept in details.
Yeah, task 1 is hard
Hello, sister, can you please make the video about Reading.
Perhaps in the future.😊
Mam I am watching your video but actually I am getting many problems with the ilets task 1 or 2 and I am preparing for ilets pleas mam give me some suggestion how to I improve my score
Could you be specific about the problems you have?
@@LilieIELTS yes , actually I'm getting problems related to subject verb agreement and. As I told you making complex sentence so I humble request to you if anything could be possible for you to do my writing task much better what I can do for better writing
Hi, I think as long as you leave 2-3 minutes to check your essay, you can definitely eliminate all your subject-verb agreement problems. In regards to your second question, you don't need to write super complex sentences. In fact, I always try to avoid writing very long sentences. Just write two simple clauses and link them with cohesive devices. Hope this helps.
@@LilieIELTS mam I like your video of writing but if do use simple sentences in writing task 2 of ilets would I get 6 or 7 band I heard that if you use complex sentence then your will get 8 band in ilets . And second thing is whatever I am writing is it correct or wrong now
Hi, I didn't mean that you should write simple sentences. I mean, you can form complex sentences simply by joining two simple sentences with a linking word.
✍️✍️🥰
is it too long for task 1?😆
