Do you tend to report all the data in a chart in Writing Task 1? In this video, I will use the bar graph in Cambridge IELTS 15 Test 1 to show you a magic method that allows you NOT to report every single piece of data in a graph.
The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.

To what extent do u agree or disagree?

First of all, thank you so much for such informative videos, they are just excellent. What i am struggling to find is standard sample. Can you kindly suggest me a book where i can find all the samples (let's say for bar chart at least 5) for all types of criteria's of writing task 1?
You can read sample essays on my site 😊 ieltsessaybank.com
Excellent ma'am very useful video
Glad you liked it😊💜
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Could I know we can use only past tense for describing?
Yes, that's exactly what I did.
Hi Lilie, i have a question, can i replace result(s) with outcome? And of course, THANK YOU for your helpful videos!!!
Yes, 'outcomes' works.
Mam Thankyou very much actually I suffed from same kind like I describe all the figure in detail but when I watch this video regarding my mistake Now I feel really good again thank you Mam for giving good solution.
glad that the video was helpful😊
@@LilieIELTSmam just I have one doubt about introduction like in introduction line" in five cities in Australia" is it correct line OR" in five cities of Australia" is correct line I am so confuse please let me know about this enquiry
Great content 💯
You'll grow faster if you upload twice a week
Quality first.😊
@@LilieIELTS do you have have fb account or any other platform where i can contact you.
I have a problem with how to understand the graph.. When I see that question I become confused what should I write about this 😢😢😢
you are not alone
Wow impressive
In the overview, can we say the two main features are 1)having tea or coffee in a cafe is the most popular + 2)buying fresh coffee is a less significant habit in all cities? May i know if the second observation is ok?
But I can argue that buying instance coffee is a less common habit, can't I? I think it's more accurate to say that buying fresh coffee is the least common habit in all five cities.
@@LilieIELTS yep, your latter sentence is what I wanna say--- 'least common' :) thanks for your reply 🙏
can we use (less likely than )in task 1 ?or is it less than more appropriate?? ---------fresh coffee section...
"Less likely than" is a type of language used in statistics, so it's actually very good for task 1.
Hiii. Id have a question. Should we also spell out the number in percentage under 10? Thank you.
No, we don't need to.
Thanks very much.
Thank you mam for your help
It's my pleasure😊
Subtitles covering the matter, wat ur showing.... overall ur excellent
You are soooo good
Awww, thank you for the kind remarks.💙
Can we use the word fluctuated between ... to.... for this bar graph?
Eg: the coffee intake for three cities (Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobo) fluctuated between 20% and 40%.
I'm freaking out. PLEASE Reply
Hi, I don't think you can. To fluctuate means to change continually. However, those percentages don't change. They're just different from each other.
Please reply (exam in 3 days) Can we say the number of residents opting for a Cafe were the highest
And, can we say outpaced instead of outraced??outpaced???
In this graph you've not compared each other. So, it's OK not to compare????
Please reply please
All doubts and fears clear 😊
Glad to hear that!😊
Thankyou ma'am
Thank you too💜
Thanks mam 😊
Keep watching😊
I have been trying to gain access your website but cannot because I was blocked
Is that so? why is that ??? probably you are a foe.😂you comment didn't even get a like from her...
Should we use connecting word more often . Is it necessary ???
using linking words is not the only way to create flow.
@@LilieIELTS ok
I know that you've mentioned the difference between Adelaide and the other five cities in the overall but shouldn't I mention it again in the detail paragraph 1?and can I say that "in Adelaide both going to a cafe and buying instant coffee leveled off at nearly 50%? Can I say that the percentages of people who bought instant coffee fluctuated
I was busy with the challenge. The first sentence in the third paragraph compares Adelaide to the other four cities: www.ieltsessaybank.com/coffee-buying-habits/
No, you shouldn't use 'level off' and 'fluctuate' for a chart that doesn't show trends.

@@LilieIELTSi just saw your reply thanks a lot and waiting for the next challenge since it was impossible for me to participate in the first one
Very nice informative thanks madam :)
So nice of you😊
Can we use reserach instead survey?
No.
This is an eye opener even for a blind person. hehehe. Great lesson.
Glad you liked it!☺💜😊
BROOOO THATS OFFENSIVE🤯🤯🤯🤯
Amazing lecture but the minimum word limit is 150 words and this is short by 20-30 words. Anyways quality is excellent.🔥

Dear Madam,
"with those in Brisbane and Adelaide, both at nearly 35%, less likely than those in the other three cities to do so." I have not understood properly. Could please write those sentences in actual form. That means that you have written it in short form by reducing the large one. I would like to see it actual sentence get better, please. Thank you.
you sound like ; hau kang we knat ( HOW CAN WE NOT) its cute haha
You listened so carefully.😀
