Looks like a L e s Paul and sounds like an electric guitar, more than a mandolin.

Yeah definitely sounds like an electric guitar, Regardless it wasently even remotely played like a mandolin, as most of us know a Mandolin has 8 & 10 strings, the majority having 4 layers of double strings, more with 5 layers of double strings, and some with 2 layers of 3 strings +2 layers of double strings. Which means they are designed for lots of triplets/and fast plectrom work Regardless of the speed of the song or tune, which sounds excellent up the board on the higher E & A strings which also distinguishes the overall tone & build quality of the particular mandolin being used, unfortunately the video demonstration of that particular mandolin didn't display any of those vital & important selling points. I have been playing Banjos Guitars & Mandolins all my life, and am in the process of purchasing another good quality one, (Preferably a 10 string (5 layers of 2 EADGC or high G) Sorry I Couldent make any sense out of that demonstration, Granted a verry good musician👏 but that blues'y jazzy style of playing is designed for single stringed instruments / Guitars / Sparrow mandolins etc etc
