regarding nut width, 1 and 3/32 is narrower than 1 and 1/8, not wider

Hey, I just purchased one of these. If I end up having any trouble with the tuners, do you have any recommendations for machine heads I can replace them with?

I personally recommend grover tuners. I would check the specs on the eastman website and then find an appropriate fitting tuner on stewmac! Hope this helps. You can also always buy the part and then have it professionally changed out at your local music store.
