oh definitely, anubis is by no means weak. in fact one could wank him into being incredibly strong but my point was, he is not as "important" as the majority of people seem to think he is.
I heard that Anubis used to be the god of death but when his father Osiris died and got mummified he gave his throne to him out of respect, he can be scaled above set since he has beat him, therefore on the same level as Horus which is insane. I like to flag Anubis as the god of death while flagging Osiris as the lord of the underworld therefore its more fun.
It kinda makes sense that Anubis ended up becoming the most popular of the Egyptian Gods, considering he's basically the equivalent of that one quiet kid in school who absolutely fucks up the bully and then proceeds to say basically nothing else for the rest of the school year
How would you rank Sekhmet? From the version I heard of her story. She couldn't be stopped by any of the gods through force alone though Ra was in a weakened and mortal state before he ascended and gave sovereignty to Osiris before Set killed him. Still considering all the other heavy hitters. It's impressive that she was such a juggernaut compared to the pantheon before she was lulled to slumber with alcohol and some of her being was split off into Hathor.
that version of isis would be really strong but that's not her "base form", she doesn't come like that "out of the box". osiris fuses with ra's soul every night and they transform into heryshaf. that version of osiris also would be really strong but in this video i was focusing on their "normal state", as vanilla as you can get them. even so, technically all the gods are as powerful as ra because they are all emanations of him.
Not sure what is meant by the Kemetic deities not being as powerful as the Greek or Nordic gods, expressing themselves as the same archetypical forces in nature, but great video anyway! EDIT: Also, if I had one disagreement (really a nitpick), is that thing about Egyptian mythology not being as popular as Greek and Norse Myth. Mainly because I think those three Mythologies form a trifecta of the most mainstream/popular mythologies out there. But then again, I don't have statistics for the most popular pantheons so I don't know for sure. Hindu Mythology is definitely popular by virtue of still being a living religion, and I'd say Japanese Mythology is popular among weebs who also have a passing interest in Mythology. Though don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if Egyptian Myth was the least popular of this trifecta I mentioned. An important aspect that I don't think is recognized enough is that the animal headed depictions of gods are symbolic as to their attributes. So canonically, any form (human or not) depicted for any of the gods is valid

I was in the room he was put down in but didn't see the actual put down just seen her pick him up off the table and walk over to the doorway. I don't know why I was put there at that time and scenario but the poor pup got sick supposed from pargo. I don't know why God wanted me to see that.
I disagree with the fact that Egyptian gods aren't immortal yes they can die but not by age or illness and even if they get killed they could be revived anubis,isis, Osiris and ra can do it also ra defeats apep every single day sometimes he gets help but mostly he defeats him alone he is stronger than him after all

He is the God of Death and Embalming, Osiris is the God of Underworld. Anubis was the previous God of the Underworld but gave it to Osiris out of respect from what I recall
Egyptian Gods being able to age "die" isn't them actually dying, it's their mortal form dying. iirc Ra died and then was just around afterwards.
