How much was everything for engine swapping to a LS including the engine
Ill have to do another video on that. Its been swapped for like 4 years now, so Ill have to look into it.

It's like 4000 just for front accessories and blower if u got a truck with a lot of room just look up a supercharger it's cheaper like 3000 with everything you need

How do you keep that thing cool?? I have a full package 350 small block but I have aluminum heads on the block that don’t need to stay as hot as they do and I have 2 electric fans and a three row aluminum radiator and it stays fairly cool until you sit and idle. I’ve read that third gen’s don’t pull enough air to stay cool at an idle so I wanted to know how you or others fixed this issue! Thank you
What kind of fans do you have? I was running stock ls1 fans for years, but after the cam it started running hot at idle. The car wouldn’t overheat, but it would never get cool enough for the fans to turn off. I recently installed dual spal 12 inch fans with an ebay shroud. Now the temp comes down to 185 and they turn off at idle like they use to.

What’re the benefits/reason going the route you did?
Just looks cleaner. Plus it was easier to keep a/c. You can do it cheaper as meth is an option, and you can use the stock lsa accessory drive. You can also use truck accessories and run the blower off the stock serpentine setup. I was planning for more boost in the future which is why I went all out.
If you got, it flaunt it.
I knew it would be pricey also, but... for $7000, you wouldn't be close to that kind of power and reliability!!! oh, and its bad ass! May want to put better exhaust hangers on the back, it moved about 4 inches when you revved her up.
What muffler are you running?
Have you ever thought about getting the blower and snout ported?

Nice video matt thanks for all the information. I do have a question for you on my build which is similar. I have a Spohn tubular K member which allows you to run the F body bottom mount A/C compressor. Will I still run into clearance issues if I use the stock ZL1 accessory drive while using the speed engineering headers? I have a 6.0 truck engine.
The compressor will clear, the only thing that might hit are the hoses. I had mine exiting out the top, so thats probably why mine hit. There are different fitting blocks you can get for it. If you use a side or bottom exit on the compressor it should clear 👍

I built my complete turbo setup under my carport for about $1600-$1800. It retains ac easily. I’m not sure why these companies run the pipe around the front of the engine. That’s a shit way of doing it.
Nice, yea if i had the time I would love to build one. Im planning on turbo and an auto for the next project, don’t know when that will be though.
LsxMatt well if you were closer I’d build the piping for you. I really need to post a more in depth video on my build. It’s not some ratty cobbled together system like some of the ones I’ve seen. I didn’t do any narration or videos so it would mainly be pics. Which is kind of boring.
What ac compressor did you use side/top exit or rear exit ? I'm getting ready to order the lsx concepts kit for my third gen
I used top exit, then had the hose made custom from coldhose.com

I had 799’s milled down .030
Why did you get it milled down ?? I got 706’s do you think it’ll be fine in the future if I put the same blower you have on right now ??
