@hoodster97 It doesnt ruin his sled.. at all. I have a watercross sled, and a iq600shift as my snow sled. My watercross sled is strict watercross, hasnt wrecked anything.. all you need to do is re jet, i geared/clutched it for bottom-mid range, make sure water cant hit the clutch to make belt slip, a decent lug track not to small not to big, thermistat removed, quick connect cooling cooler (fast cool) only thing i can think of is replacing suspension bearings. Hardly ever. L2greaseyoursled. lol.
i had oportunity to cross some water few times and it really was alot of fun.but what thes guys do where they prep it for that purpose and compete in the summer, that seems silly to some but its gotta be awesome.not a big polaris guy but this paticular IQ600 i think is awesome.i still prefer the 03 thru 06 firecat. everything is going rev style. theyr good ditch bangin sleds but i just prefer the firecat n crossfire over all.
did you mod tour track at all or is it just a straight studded track cuz i wanna put my artic cat in the water as well any help on gettin it started would be awsome thanks
in nunavut we skip in bigger lakes than that little pond go to water skipping in cambridge bay nunavut and see what we do some days when i was 12 my bro let me try his rev xp tnt 550
ULTIMATE GETAWAY MACHINE! goes over water and land with ease!
i thought it was a snow hawk for a second the skis are so close together skinny sled you got there bro
i like how he's doing laps lol nice turns btw, makes me wanna take mine out.
I like your jet ski!!!
im 16 also and this has been my first year i've ever tried water skipping and its kind of obvious that a longer "tred" works better
Wicked fast. Nicely done.
it seems like some of you are confused. you do realize this sled is modded for water cross? its meant for water. look it up
Holy fuck burman ridge!!!
I know where this is :) partied at that hill many times! Haha
you got that thing nice and sealed up no belt slippage at all this is great! :)
Great video

Is that gas tank for gas, or are you using it as a float in case it sinks to see where the sled went?
must be some big paddles on that track did you have to use a special track? what kinda sled also?
Thats a clever way of adding extra gallons to your gas tank for cheap!
POLARIS ROCKS!!!!!!
@orenkieth that "riders perspective" is called pov or go pro and its all over youtube

you guy have a hard time preventing water from coming in the side panels?
did you mod tour track at all or is it just a straight studded track cuz i wanna put my artic cat in the water as well any help on gettin it started would be awsome thanks
so does a longer tred or a shorter tred work better when doing this ??
I was soo amped on the new sled this year that she ended up touching water before snow. But thats not an issue anymore haha
would you register it as a jet ski or snowmobile?
A little lean bog coming out of the hole there. sweet video man the first one I'v seen from the riders perspective. You ride in IWA?
@Bulletsoupz same difference. its built for now but put on water
in nunavut we skip in bigger lakes than that little pond
go to water skipping in cambridge bay nunavut and see what we do some days
when i was 12 my bro let me try his rev xp tnt 550
so u just take the seat off to make it lighter so you can water skip?
i think you got your ski doo and sea doo mixed up
holly shit your like the best ive seen so far.....

@BryceD6 uh..keep it above water
Its not either of those... Its an 06-07 iqr 440 Not an 08 rr bud.
Jesus Christ people... he meant skidoos in common meaning all "snowmobiles" as you American say... in Canada we just say skidoo...
