@@joshguitar7206 : you are 100% correct Rotax engine are one of the best. I drove my 600 summit wide open on a lake in winter for 12 miles without letting off & no hiccups at all, did it when it still had full warranty just in case. LOL
When this guy is going to sell that sled: Runs fine, take care like a baby, never full throttle, never beat up, ski’s are mint, track is perfect, never hit water, only 200miles (on snow)
XCRACER AXYS: You obviously no nothing about sleds. There are only 2 speeds stop or wide open. Ski-Doo engines can handle that and a lot more with no issues.
So I may do this when I get 75 subs can anyone tell me what mods I should do for a 87 Indy 400? To make it water skip better and how to get it out of 30 feet deep lake if it sinks
I’m guessing everyone who’s complaining about pistons and rings take their shit in to get rebuilt? Christ people it’s not the end of the world, I could have that sled rebuilt in a day easily.
Lee Fetterly : any long runs it's a good idea to remove your seat because if you swamp your machine all the foam in you seat sucks up water & it is hard to get it all out. My friend swamped his with the seat on & he left his seat out all summer in the sun & when winter came & he had to put it back on it was like sitting on a piece of wood. it was totaled. he ended up buying a salvaged sled just for the seat.
For all the piston ring and cylinder pessimists, with proper oiling and fuelling this sort of thing doesn't destroy your engine any more than riding WOT in snow.
Piston rings have left the chat
naah
this proves that snowmobiles are all-terrain vehicles
how to run from cops
goodbye fresh top end lmao the rings are now 1 with the pistons
Chris Edwards : how do you figure that?
@@dominicoconner1973 these people are uneducated. Just let them be maybe even make money off them
That's a 440 and pretty well wide open for 7mins
Ya holy shit

Did u rebuild it right before and after
That's hell of a Rotax to hold it that long NICE !! Crazy stuff !!! Nice to see ya have a safety let ski guy with you... VERY impressive run !!!
ever think about buying a sea doo?
no
What's the fun in that?
So many comments from people who this is probably the first time they have ever seen a snowmobile.
Dominic O'Conner he is going wide open the whole time. He’s going to blow it up.
I know 🙄🙄🙄
Lots of life left in that rig 😂
Really surprised you made it that far without blowing up that motor the way you were riding it
These are bulletproof motors

Dave Zysk my 550 rev motor lasted 25xxx kms before the top end went
Well had an mountain cat 800 triple 96
Each individual exhaust really loud my friend heard sound at 40 miles away
@@alaskanzombie9075 that's impossible. Humans can't even seen ten miles let alone hear that mosquito from 40
I love all the youtube mechanics

Go fuck yourself
B&J VLOGS why would I wanna do that?
Damn@@bradyj69 damn you really are a 4 year old BITCH
At what point did sled become a jetski
never buy a 2stroke from this guy
Ahhahahhaha
R.I.P piston rings
im suprised they did not over heat in beginning
dude after such anhard ride do not stop the engine right away let it run 10-15 sec to idle , wtf
Ya no shit, that hurt my feelings seeing that. And the nice size rocks, what an idiot
Idiot ?? Chase is a fucking Legend !
That thing held up like a champ
I would have not of used that red sled it's pretty cool 😎
I live 5 mins away! Never thought you would see a youtube video from LL on here eh!
If it’s rich jetting it’s fine but now if it was lean thats a new story and rip piston and rings
The clutch on the sled won’t let it rev over like 7000 grand it a 440 man it do that rpm all year round
10,000rpms for 10mins! lol good job!
Lucas Cady more like 8000
no where close to 10k
can sometimes hear it rev up a little and goes to 8k+
power dropoff is so bad past 9k so no worries and water gives good cooling so kinda ez
What was your Average speed? Like 65mph?
So I may do this when I get 75 subs can anyone tell me what mods I should do for a 87 Indy 400? To make it water skip better and how to get it out of 30 feet deep lake if it sinks
Was that wide open throttle for seven minutes?
Pin it for the win!! Crazy! I just couldn’t do that.
pretty durable motor if you ask me, mine would explode after 3 minutes
strong sled wow
Now that was a run!
Who needs a sea-doo, when you have a ski-doo, loll,right
I’m guessing everyone who’s complaining about pistons and rings take their shit in to get rebuilt? Christ people it’s not the end of the world, I could have that sled rebuilt in a day easily.
Didn't even let it idol for 20 sec afterbeing wide for 6:30+ min
it wasnt full he was pretty much trail riding on water
+taven marshall you can see he's pinned the whole time. Plus it's a 440 so you pretty much have to be
+notagoon695 if thats the throttle gap revs are sad
Then you see it on the FB marketplace for $1000. “Mint, fresh top end, thoroughly washed, low miles.”😂😆
My buddy has the 440 directly from the race department of ski doo
so what happens if u sink or something goes wrong?
You sink and something goes wrong there's not much more to it than that.. I don't see anything else that could go wrong
u have rope and a float and then u let the float, float and come back for it
Sheldon Bertrand
You're at fishing. You see that. Want do you do?
*bearings have left the chat*
Any specail prep to run that long across the lake? Done short runs before but never chanced that before. On the bucket list!

this has to be scary af
Zander Lawson no really
jesus pinned out for that long to be shut off with no cool down...but how...and why...
как же это круто!!!!!!
oh fuck yeah bud just rippin
Did that person litter at 2:24
Stalls it
My 2006 Polaris 900 would of overheated as it is snow colded
The water cools it, still very very bad to hold wot for 7 minutes yho.
Kyle Speck : Actually its cooled by anti freeze that runs through radiators that get cooled by the snow hitting them Th e water does the same thing
not a rev 440
Your stupid asf it says right there u have the same shit bone stock 440 and did the same shit!!!!
Why Why Why is this jetski following so close throwing a wake at you? awesome vid either way!
no wake zone
How fast was that on water
Probably not anymore than 70 it’s a 440. I have a 2020 Indy xc 600 that tops out at 104
Talk about water cooled.
That is not an 04 440 the other sled with no seat was that but this is a ski doo 800 summit
R u dumb
My 440 can’t even go over 5 ft from a ditch sized jump. Oh wait it’s a 97’ and like a 126’ track I’m guessing that’s why
driver error
Not a bad video but y the fuckin crocs.
I don't think that's good for the skis to be driving on pavmint
Its on wear rods.. while yes its not good.. that little distance doesnt matter and wear rods are pretty cheap.

Rip piston rings
Bryon Sessions: how do you figure that it was still running fine, when you blow a piston or ring the engine doesn't want to run.
