When you can play blackened effortlessly you're officially a master of following things:
    1. down picking

Donnie Brasco Most genres were made thanks to someone playing something "wrong". Jazz is music played "wrong" but sounding good. Wrongness has no place in music. "But if you don't play it like the original, isn't that considered wrong?" NO! Just because you're not playing it just like the original doesn't mean it's played wrong, just different. If one really thinks that way, then all covers AND I MEAN ALL COVERS are wrong.

Honestly, I love the snare in St. Anger. Because it’s really unique and fans (including me) wouldn’t want their favorite band to end. People will have to start liking the snare like I did. Megadeth riffs are made harder than most Metallica riffs on purpose. Dave thinks that he gets appreciation when he just rushes and makes as hard riffs as he can.
Metallica riffs are way better sounding (I still like Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls etc. don't get me wrong) and more better produced.
Still both great bands in their own ways, I just sometimes think that only thing Dave Mustaine wants is to beat Metallica, not to make music he likes.
