Their riffs are so simple but so epic at the same time. Complexity doesn't always give the best result. My favorite riff, at least showcased here, was dahli lhama.
I speak German and most of the lyrics are kinda random. Du hast literally means you have. A fast translation of the chorus is: you asked me but I didn’t replay. It still is very cool to be able to sing along tho!

I'm not a metal head. I don't speak German. I don't play guitar. But dang, Rammstein has a crazy amount of good music. They have been killing it for over 20yrs. And what's more, beneath all the fire and fury, they are responsible, respectable people willing to use provoking imagery and sound to voice uncomfortable but equitable opinions. Loved the new stuff. "Angst" and "Deutschland" in particular.

Rammstein only have 66 main album songs. The fact that not only can you find 50 epic riffs in there, but that 50 isn't even enough to get all of the epic ones, shows how consistently awesome Rammstein are. That's the thing that has most blown me away about them. Virtually any other band, you typically get 2-3 good+ songs per album. Rammstein are excellent across the whole lot. Very excited for the new album, but worried it will be the last. Only time will tell though, as they have always done things as they want.
Richard Z. Kruspe is thinking of retiring after the tour with the new album though... and they are stating that this album much likely will be the last... no joke i am 17 and i fell a tear when i read all that.

I guess different Rammstein Songs are underrated in different countries. In Germany every Rammstein fan knows and loves Waidmannsheil whilst the most popular Tracks such as Amerika, Du Hast etc. are loved but no fan favorites.
Man, I listen to this every freaking day and still don't get bored. The dynamism is perfect. The fact that the songs that have similar tempo are put one after the other makes it a brand new song! :D
So, several points to make. 1. When you use a video like this trying to remember every song you like from a band (Every damn one) and 2. Rewatching this again cause so many fun riffs from this band. One of the very rare few bands to not only maintain its lineup throughout the years but to still sound tight as a group.

But dang, Rammstein has a crazy amount of good music. They have been killing it for over 20yrs. And what's more, beneath all the fire and fury, they are responsible, respectable people willing to use provoking imagery and sound to voice uncomfortable but equitable opinions.

- some riffs such as bestrafe mich, ich tu dir weh and liebe ist für alle da are slightly incorrect. when I realized that it was too late. fuck
- I don't have the means to copy the synths too, so most of the times the synths don't match perfectly. there was no fucking way to find something good for keine lust, so I had to give up
- like other "50 riffs" video the guitar sound changes a little bit depending on the album
- if you find some sync problems it's my fucking old pc's fault

Rammstein was and will always be my go to band when I need to get away from the world and listen to music. Love them so much

Rammstein only have 66 main album songs. The fact that not only can you find 50 epic riffs in there, but that 50 isn't even enough to get all of the epic ones, shows how consistently awesome Rammstein are. That's the thing that has most blown me away about them. Virtually any other band, you typically get 2-3 good+ songs per album. Rammstein are excellent across the whole lot. Very excited for the new album, but worried it will be the last. Only time will tell though, as they have always done things as they want.

I guess different Rammstein Songs are underrated in different countries. In Germany every Rammstein fan knows and loves Waidmannsheil whilst the most popular Tracks such as Amerika, Du Hast etc. are loved but no fan favorites.

So, several points to make. 1. When you use a video like this trying to remember every song you like from a band (Every damn one) and 2. One of those bands who keep it pretty simple but still manage to sound brutal and have some of the best riffs I've ever heard

I'm an old fart, been listening to music since the early 70s, the prog bands and the heavier stuff, from Cream to Zeppelin, from Jethro Tull to Van Der Graaf, from the Pistols to Nirvana, but I now rate Rammstein above most of these guys for sheer quality and endurance. I'm not even a metalhead!!
These guys put together killer music. Simple but well crafted and massive guitar riffs with keyboards for atmosphere. The vocals are deep and rich. The melodic chorus with the driving verse. They should be on any top rock bands of all time lists.
