I use a neck strap ALWAYS. Not only does it help with stability and just hanging the camera with you when you’re not using it but it also takes off the weight from your arms if you’re shooting for long periods of time. Help if you got shaky hands, etc. neck straps is super underrated 🔥

Gaff is a top tip, I do the same thing but I stick 4-5 layers onto the inside back cover of my pocket notebook.

I will keep a small clear plastic garbage bag folded in my camera bag so that if I'm out on adventure and generate trash (from snacks and such) I have some way to bring it home with me (bring it in, bring it out). This can also double as a dry place to sit if in wet environments, a way to cover the camera if it starts to rain, etc. 😎📷

yeah it’s a shame.
With all those Tesla-hacks/scams with youtubers lately (Even LTT was hacked by it). Its great you add security to this list. Thats not something I see many youtubers do. Gafftape is something you also don't hear a lot while its one of the basics every camerabag should have.
I also noticed the two sony mics not being in the description but i found them online.
The small one is the Sony ECM-G1
The bigger one is the Sony ECM-B10

I'm a graphic designer who got bored after 15 years of Illustrator and is now trying to diversify and learn video editing as well. So thanks for your helpful tips and cool ways of explaining. But also, just out of curiosity, since I am a metalhead myself, what is/are your favorite bands?
I'm into metalcore / hardcore metal as well as screamo/rock/punk rock. One of my all-time favourite bands is bring me the horizon. I also really like Fever333, sleeping with sirens, don broco and a bunch of other bands haha. There's also a ton of bands I like to see live but not necessarily listen to a lot, like Knocked Loose. They're SOOO fun live. You?
Wow, well I must recognize that I'm crap apparently and none of the bands you listed I know. Maybe because I'm European and they are more mainstream in the USA, or maybe because I'm more old school - Slipknot, Mudvayne, American Head Charge, Carcass, Godsmack, Metallica, Rammstein, and so on, you know, the classics, I don't wanna bore you with a list. BUT I made sure to check out your bands and YEAH NICE. Thank you for introducing me to them. Will start listening to some of their songs for sure. haha BMTH is actually from the UK. it makes sense that you don’t know those bands if you’re more into (what i call) metal metal. but rammstein shouldn’t be on that list anymore after what Till’s done lol.
@@lilafromyoutube Hmm, I could write a novel about Till subject but I'll keep it short. I lived in Germany for a whole and for 5 years in Vienna, Austria. In both countries Rammstein is part of their culture. These people are demigods in both countries. I went to Rammstein concerts and it's wild. You need to move super fast to get a ticket. When this story broke in Austria, oh boy there was a lot of drama and people split in to two camps. But then silence. Nobody cared anymore. And it is reflected on the ticket sales in the 2024 tour. Everyone went like, oh well ...
My personal opinion, he is a piece of shit, and his personal music from his own channel proves it, especially songs like Ach So Gern.
Now, do i still like Rammstein music, yes. Will i still listen to some songs, yes because i have many memories good and bad connected to some of the songs. Will i ever listen to their new albums, no. Will i ever go to one of their concerts? Hell no!! We all knew they were highly sexual in their content and on live show performances. But it was always considered a form of satire performance. But after this story, a lot of lyrics and artistic stunts connect like pieces of a puzzle.
I hope that him and the others responsible will suffer consequences for their actions. But knowing how the world works, I doubt that he will get repercussions, legally and loosing fans unfortunately.
Now i just need to save a lot 😂 but still amazing video!

Do you think it's possible for you to do a video on the use case differences between the Sony shotgun mic you just showed and a lavalier mic like DJI Mic 2?
I understand that these are totally different equipments but l can't picture a scenario where the Sony shotgun mic is better than Lavaliers. So if you use both it would be nice to see how you select one over the other in your case!
I don't have the DJI mic 2 but if I ever get my hands on it, I'll consider it! In my opinion, shotgun mics are better than lavs when it comes to vlogging :)
